Yachtswoman Ewa (Krystyna Janda) is celebrating with her ex-husband and a new business partner, her pending solo tour around the world. Their party is filmed by a tv journalist, whose coverage of the race becomes the symbol of state censorship after the clamp-down. Ex-husband loses his job when he refuses to sign a loyalty oath.
