Ratita,a girl injured by a land mine lives in the Arrupe Center with other disabled children. Despite all her family's problems and her disability, Ratita faces life with strength together with her best friend Sarin, a blind girl who she shares most of her time with. One day Ratita makes a journey to visit her mother. In this travel Ratita reflects about the problems in her family and her decision not to stay with her mother. When she returns to the Arrupe Center, something has changed. She wishes to break with the established rules and become the Cambodian woman she wants to be. The fields in Cambodia are full of landmines. Every day there are accidents that involve children injured whilst playing in the fields surrounding their villages. This observational documentary tells the story of one of these children, Ratita, a girl injured by a landmine who lives in the Arrupe Centre with other disabled children.
