The sick King Jorgen worries about the marriage of his daughter Elena. The fairytale-like, dramatic confusion triggers a shimmering golden fire bird with its wondrous song every full moon night - it makes the king heal and brings the "good" prince as husband of the "good" Princess Elena. Prince Afron is the protagonist, among the contenders for the hand of sick king Jorgen's only daughter Elena, which a cure might secure. So the hunt is on for the only known one: the magically fire-red-glowing fire-bird, whose enchanting song heals. Evil sorcerer Skeleton manages to get his hands on it and the princess, who refuses to become his bride.
