The Moment Trap: The Lennon Dream
When her all-male house-cleaning business gets out of control, a mature woman must embrace her own sexuality, if she is to make a new life for herself. When Gina Henderson (Sally Phillips) is fired from her office job, she takes over the operations of a moving company to try and turn their fortunes around. With help and some encouragement from her friends at the swimming club, Gina asks the (all-male) crew to provide cleaning services and more to the women in their town. As the business succeeds, Gina re-evaluates her own love and sex life. Gina (Sally Phillips) is turning 50 and her life has seen better days: she has just lost her job as an insolvency administrator to a younger colleague, and her marriage to Adrian (Cameron Daddo) has been on the rocks for years. The only bright spot in her everyday life is swimming in the Indian Ocean with her friends, who support her through thick and thin. Over the years, the women have matured into a close-knit group who share even their most intimate secrets. A memorable visit on her birthday brings excitement to Gina's everyday life: standing at her door is sexy stripper Tom (Alexander England), whom her friends have hired as a gift. He makes her the tempting offer to do anything she wants. And what stressed-out Gina needs most right now is a clean apartment-so she lets him clean her house. When the two discover by chance that Tom's main job is with a moving company that Gina is in the process of dissolving, the resourceful businesswoman has an idea: the muscle-bound moving team is quickly retrained as a handsome cleaning crew. But after the first few jobs, it quickly becomes clear that the mostly female customers want much more than just a clean house. —ARD
