Dubbed in : English ( Original )
An extraordinary thrilling journey out to discover the most striking works of art collected by the Popes in 500 years of history. For the very first time in the world, ultra HD 4K/3D television cameras enter the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel to show the masterpieces of faith. This major production required four months to film, employing technology of the very latest generation that saw the utilization of an extraordinary dimensionalization technique for the breaking up of planes, applied to over 40 frescoes and paintings. This decomposition of planes enhances the perspective, literally allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the works. An all-Italian production team formed by 40 professionals covered no less than 3,000 kilometers in the marvelous setting of the corridors and rooms to capture the magnificence and the splendor of one of the world`s most visited museums. Taking an approach that is intimate yet emotional and with striking breadth, ``The Vatican Museums 3D`` narrates, contemplates and further heightens the beauty of such extraordinary works as the School of Athens by Raffaello and Michelangelo`s frescoes decorating the Sistine Chapel, including the Creation of Adam and the majestic Last Judgement, along with other works by Raffaello, Leonardo da Vinci, Giotto, Caravaggio, as well as by artists closer to our time, including Van Gogh, Chagall, Dali and Fontana. These are the stages of a unique, thrilling journey conducted under the authoritative guidance of the Director of the Vatican Museums, Professor Antonio Paolucci.
