Tokachukka is a thriller based on a hunt for the Kakatiya treasure. The Kohinoor, Hope, and Regent Diamonds were all from the Golconda region during the Kakatiya times. They say madness runs in the family. But then what defines madness? Smriti came from a family with a lineage of creativity but also a history of dementia on her moms side of the family. Smriti`s maternal uncle Shambu watched her very closely. Shambu was an avowed bachelor and he lived with Smritis family. Shambu had a theory that the crazy gene was passed on from one generation to another through the females. Shambu read a lot and discussed his theory with many people including Ankit, Smritis friend. Shambu felt sorry for Ankit, it looked like Ankit was going to end up marrying Smriti. Shambu woke up many a night, in cold sweat, having dreamt of Smriti pulling out the wash-basin from the cement wall and breaking it on Ankits head. Shambu was a well-known astrologist, he wrote a column for the monthly magazine Yogazine. He had learnt the art of reading the stars from his father.
