Two crooks (led by William Lucas) blow up a gas station safe using chemicals, and inadvertently steal contaminated money, winding up on a houseboat with a woman and young child. A criminal gang completes a seemingly successful heist and escapes with large amounts of cash. They are unaware that their loot is covered in a toxic poison. The gang decides to take over a houseboat on the River Thames which can serve them as a convenient hideout. They intimidate the houseboat's female occupant into compliance, but they start dying from the effects of the poison. —Dimos I
