Shankar Ayya (Saravanan) is a fatherly figure in Tuticorin and villages around it. He has the reputation of being a helpful 'Godfather', who always takes of the needs of the poor and needy. His long-standing enemy - his cousin Semmarai Pandian (Sudhakar Vasanth) - does not let one opportunity of violence slip out of his hand. The great magnitude of lawlessness compells the Government to assign the duty of restoring order in the region to SP Veerasangili (Deepak Chakravarthy). Will he be able to make peace, inspite of the adamant Semmarai not willing to co-operate?
