Two hapless loners face inner demons when attempting to force a confession from a wealthy man believed to have murdered his own family. Destitute loner Bucky Buckwalter becomes obsessed with a wealthy man whose family are the victims of a brutal slaying. Excessive media coverage convinces Bucky that this man, Eric Chandler, is guilty of murdering his own family.
