The movie is based on Govina Haadu or Punyakoti song which speaks of a tiger prowling on an innocent cow as it grazes. The cow asks tiger to give it sometime to feed its calf and make arrangements for their future, and then it shall come back to the tiger. As promised, the cow returns after doing the needful. The tiger stunned by its honesty, repents and jumps off a cliff. This is the story of two sisters, where the elder sister, Nagi (Shruthi) only focuses on her sister Kaveri's (Rashmi) education and herself rejects all marriage proposals. What follows as the climax, is set to touch all hearts.
