He leaves, unaware of the struggles that lie ahead. The city confuses and frightens him; food and sleep are hard to come by, and life becomes increasingly miserable. Eventually, Kittu returns home and begs for forgiveness. The story ends on a happy note, with a reformed Kittu beginning a new chapter of his life in the forest. —DFF
