Deepavali`s protagonist comes to the city from a nearby village and undergoes humiliation and hardship to protect another person. He doesn`t give any reasons nor does he celebrate Deepavali, the festival that everyone is enjoying around. The rest of the movie is about what is plaguing him.

The story revolves around two friends who overcome the problems in their personal marriage lives with their friendship.

Radha Krishna (Tarun) and Krishnaveni (Aarthi Agarwal) are family friends since childhood. The two of them are constantly teasing each other and getting into silly fights. Krishnaveni starts getting feelings for Radha Krishna but obstacles come in the way.
