Shob Bhooturey is a Bengali ghost film where the protagonist Aniket (Abir Chatterjee) is a modern guy who is hell-bent on closing down the ghost magazine, started by his father, the Late Nabinmadhab Sen. The editor of the magazine "Shob Bhooturey" and Nabinmadhab`s friend Kripadhar Babu (Supriyo Dutta) is opposed to Aniket`s decision. At this time a strange girl, Nandini (Sohini Sarkar), comes to their office and claims that Nabinmadhab had promised her employment because she can apparently see ghosts. Parallel to this, a school in the village of Kushumpur is shut down due to the occurrence of ghostly events culminating in the mysterious death of a child named Mini (Ida Dasgupta). The headmaster of the school, Poritosh Mukherjee (Sumanto Mukherjee) comes to this magazine for help. Aniket, Nandini and Kripadhar Babu set out on a mission to re-open the school and unravel the ghostly mystery.

Tamez against the US Department of Homeland Security that implemented eminent domain to seize a portion of her own Lipan Apache ancestral land in El Calaboz Rancheria. This portion of the San Pedro de Carricitos Land Grant of 1786 was granted by the Spanish Crown, which began with Jose de Escandon's entrance into the area in 1745 with the settling of Nuevo Santander. Colonial records exist, which explicitly acknowledge the existence and deeded ownership of Lipan Nde' land in Texas by both Mexico and Spain, before the United States existed as an entity. The unjust seizure of their land by DHS impacts Lipan Apache cultural traditions and their very way of life, since their lives are intrinsically tied to the land and river to which they no longer have access - a clear breach of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, to which the United States is a signatory. —Ramon Resendiz

Kolkata is ablaze with Hindu-Muslim riots in 1946, when the newly-married Byomkesh Bakshi visits Banaras with wife Satyabati and Ajit on police inspector Purandar Pandey`s invitation. There, the trio is invited to a grand party thrown by zamindar Dipnarayan Singh. But the next morning, Dipnarayan dies and Byomkesh is called in to solve the case. In due course, he finds that Dipnarayan`s pretty wife, Shakuntala, is pregnant. But the discovery only adds to the confusion. Was Dipnarayan murdered for money or was a secret love affair involved?

The film begins with a shot in which a very disheveled looking Abhijit (Abir Chatterjee) enters the room to find Debjani (Raima Sen) lying dead on the bed. The story goes back to a flashback and we get to see the reason behind such a fatal outcome. Abhijit is a professor of Mathematics at St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. He lives with his only sister Mallika who is a crime journalist by profession. A chance meeting with a soothsayer (Sohag Sen) who warns Abhijit to stay away from love for his own good is not given much importance by the professor. One rainy night he comes across a beautiful damsel in distress Debjani, stranded, as her taxi has broken down. He gives Debjani, a trainee heart surgeon, a lift in his car and Cupid strikes. They date and fall in love. Abhijit, however, faces a problem at his job when an infatuated student proposes him. He rejects and in retaliation she does something to get back at the professor. He is initially arrested, and then ostracized by one and all. Faced with such grave issues at work, he goes to the Andamans along with Debjani in search of a new life. There they meet Shubhro (Indrasish Roy) who is Debjani's junior from their high school days. Shubhro runs an NGO at Port Blair and composes music in his pastime. Shubhro and Debjani spend time together rejuvenating their old friendship. At times, Abhijit gets jealous of Shubhro's unwavering attention on Debjani. Shubhro dies in an accident and this leaves Abhijit in a confused state. He begins to question himself about the prophecy of the soothsayer. What actually happens next? Does Abhijit leave Debjani? Who killed Debjani? Hrid Majharey answers them all.

Kanamachhi stars Ankush, Abir Chatterjee, Srabanti and Sananda in leading roles. Srabanti & Ankush are journalists working for a leading newspaper. Ankush plays a photo journalist who does an investigative story that disappoints the political mafia ruling the state. Due to this both face various problems and how the duo emerge triumphant by successfully overcoming the opposition they face forms the film`s story.

`Bojhena Shey Bojhena` is a Bengali romance, directed by Raj Chakraborty and produced by Shree Venkatesh Films. The film is the remake of 2011 Tamil superhit, `Engaeyum Eppothum`, directed by M. Saravanan and starring Jai, Anjali, Sharvanand, and Ananya. The film illustrates two love stories with Soham Chakraborty & Mimi Chakraborty playing the characters in one of the stories and Abir Chatterjee and Payel Sarkar playing the other characters. The film was initially titled `Prem Amar 2` but eventually the director changed the name because of the entry of two new characters and a different story. Arindom Chatterjee has composed the music for `Bojhena Shey Bojhena`
