Ramakrishna (Jai Akash) is Indian-born London resident, and a millionaire in the city. After a long tour around the world, he returns to India. On his return he finds his mother Charanya feeling sad upon something, and finds out she miss her relationship with her long-lost family members, despite their wealth. At that point Ramakrishna does not feel anything for relationship, as he is wealthy and he has his mother by his side for uninterrupted love. Suddenly, Charanya gets ill and dies. Ramakrishna who has seen nothing except for his mother's love and money, feels for someone to care about him for the first time. He searches for his long lost relatives in a village, mentioned by his mother earlier. He wants to feel true love, so he disguises himself as a poor man and joins as a servant in Vijayakumar's house, who is the Village's head. Later he finds out that Vijaykumar is his father, and feels happy about it. Vijay Kumar also feels happy for getting his son back. While he was planning to tell the village folks that Ramakrishna is his son, he dies of a heart attack. Now, Ramakrishna is left without support for the second time in his life. The remaining part of the story narrates whether or not Vijaykumar's other family members accepted Ramakrishna as family. The story also involves the sudden love affair between Ramakrishna and the girl next door, Sridevika. This movie highlights the importance of relationships and upholds the truth that love is more powerful than money and prestige.

A playboy mends his reckless ways and learns the meaning of true love, in his efforts to win his ladylove. Wealthy and spoil Rishi Oberoi lives in a spacious bungalow and is the only child in the Oberoi family. He often indulges himself with alcohol and women only to one day come across a young woman named Chandni Gupta who is fascinated by him but Chandni will have nothing to do with him due to his lifestyle and is instead attracted to Mohan Sachdev; who is employed as a typist in Rishi's business empire. Unfortunately Chandni is unable to marry Mohan because of financial crises between both parties respective families resulting in Chandni taking up resident with Rishi. Selvam loves actress Devyani and wants to marry her. When she arrives in town for a shoot, Selvam's family is led to believe that both are getting married. But Devyani rudely denies their proposal. Sakthivel (R. Sarath Kumar) is the leader of his village and is adored by the people. His only brother is Selvam (Vikram) who, after completing his education in Singapore, returns to the hamlet. Both Sakthivel and his wife Lakshmi (Khushboo) are very fond of Selvam and want him to get married and live happily. Selvam is keen on marrying a girl he has seen in his dream. Sakthivel is prepared to go anywhere to find the girl. Selvam actually comes across the photograph of his dream girl Devayani (Devayani) in a TV advertisement and discovers that she is an actress . A film crew lands in the village for shooting, and Devayani, as she is called in the film too, is in the group. Sakthivel approaches her with his brother's proposal, but she insults him. "I am beautiful and famous and cannot marry a villager," she says. Does Selvam accept defeat or manage to bring her round?
