This incident is followed by several other tiger attacks, and many deaths result, prompting National Geographic to send a correspondent, Krish Thapar (John Abraham) to the national park and ascertain what really happened. Thapar is accompanied by his wife Riya (Esha Deol). Bashir Khan (Parmeet Sethi) is the forest officer suspected of facilitating poaching in all National Parks that he is assigned to. A group of youngsters, consisting of Dev Malhotra (Vivek Oberoi), his girlfriend Ishika (Lara Dutta), Sajid (Kushal Punjabi) and Vishal (Vishal Malhotra), are on a hunting trip in the hopes of sighting and shooting some big prey. The youngsters' car breaks down (After Dev hits a black cat which Ishika considers very very bad luck). Bagga (Vineet Sharma), a passing by driver, gives them a lift to the farmhouse they were heading towards. Bagga convinces the group to head towards the Orbit National Park for some big game hunting. Bagga tells them that venturing into the core area of the jungle is prohibited and is very dangerous. Bagga's car accidentally hits Krish's, which also breaks down and is at the middle of the road. The two groups decide to travel together in Bagga's car, leaving a mechanic repairing Krish's car. Just a few seconds they set off, the mechanic disappears, and they believe a tiger just took him away and decide not to risk their lives to look for him. Bagga finds them a place to stay -- a guesthouse owned by Pandey (Daya Shankar Pandey). Pandey is a guide who agrees to lead them the next day to the core area, where tigers live, for hunting. Pandey disappears the very night and his body is found in the wild the next day by Bashir Khan, with his head chopped off. Krish starts to be suspicious about the real cause of the recent rising deaths in the jungle, as he is an animal expert and recognizes Pandey is not killed by a tiger or any animal. Warned by Bashir Khan and scared, the group decide to leave the jungle. Before they depart, they find Sajid missing, again not by an animal. Dev, close friend to Sajid, assumes the latter is going to the core area alone for hunting. However, the group decide to leave without Sajid. Expectedly, Sajid joins the series of mystery deaths and is found with his head chopped off. The rest are soon confronted by three tigers on the way. Kaali Pratap Singh (Ajay Devgan), who claims to live in the jungle, saves them from the upcoming tiger attack. On their continued way out of the jungle, they find the road is blocked by rocks due to the landslide caused by rain. Kaali shows up again and agrees to lead them out of the jungle. On the way the car has a minor accident when Bagga cant take his foot off the gas pedal. The group is forced to take a break while Bagga repairs the vehicle. Kaali appears to be very knowledgeable about the jungle. Krish, who is now more curious about the mysterious deaths, asks him if he knows what's behind those deaths. Kaali answers that there was a mad guide in this jungle, who always led tourists to wrong places to make them killed by animals (he did this as he didn't like the exploitation of animals and forests by humans and wanted humans to learn a lesson). Angry villagers later found about it and beat him to death. But his spirit -- the ghost -- remains in the jungle and keeps killing tourists. But none of them believe Kaali's story. Bagga later disappears when repairing his car, rising the fear among the rest. Vishal is also killed by their car explosion a few moments later (the group tries to cross a small wooden bridge to get to the other side, but the car gets stuck and leaks gasoline. Vishal acts weird and refuses to get out of the car and is blown away when a stray cigarette that he threw in the water, ignites the fuel). The rest carry on and reach a deserted guesthouse in the evening, outside which there is a well. All go to sleep after being warned by Kaali not to get close to the well. Riya wakes up thirsty in the night. She decides to get water from the well despite Kaali's warning, and is later accidentally hung by her foot in the well and dies. The rest figure out Riya's death and try to pull out her body, while Dev suddenly realizes that Kaali does not have a reflection in well's water. He also sees that Kaali is not visible in any of the videos that had been recorded by Vishal so far. He realizes that the story Kaali told them is true and he is the ghost referred in the story. Dev makes an excuse to push Kaali off and convinces the others that Kaali is a ghost. They decide to escape from Kaali. They encounter several accidents on their way out of the jungle, apparently arranged by Kaali, but finally manage to escape. Krish now knows what's behind those mysterious deaths but he is not going to tell anyone because no one is going to believe him. Meanwhile in the jungle, Kaali keeps killing tourists.

Manoj was in love and was to marry Neerja (Aishwarya), but her mother preferred her to marry someone wealthier, in Calcutta. Manoj starts meeting his classmates and some give him some money, and some don't. After completing his tasks for the day, Manoj heads to Neerja's. Neerja opens the door and is looking slightly shabby. Manoj removes his raincoat and hangs it on the wall. The home is full of antique furniture. And there is no electricity in the house, which Neerja claims is due to the rain. There are no servants in the house, and Neerja claims that they are off for their afternoon siesta. Neerja claims that her husband is in Japan in relation to his business. She claims that her husband tours a lot, but she doesn't like to travel. Neerja refuses to open doors as she claims that her husband is very possessive about her and cannot stand her spending time with another man. She says that if she opens the doors, the news will reach her any ways. Manoj arrived around 2 PM. At 2:45 PM Neerja makes a cup of tea for him. Neerja used to live in the same village as Manoj, before she came to the city. Manoj tells Neerja that he runs a TV serial production company. He had come to Calcutta for a meeting with DoorDarshan. He hasn't married yet. Manoj says that a developer bought their land and constructed a 6-floor building on the plot and gave them 2 floors in exchange. It's a luxury apartment. Manoj claims that he has a secretary, when Sheela calls on her mobile phone to check on Manoj. He says that the mobile belongs to him. Neerja realizes that Manoj hasn't had any lunch yet. She doesn't have any groceries in the house and decides to go to the shop to buy some food items. After Neerja leaves for shopping, the owner of the house (Annu Kapoor) drops by & tells Manoj about Neerja's pathetic life. Her husband is a drunk & the house is in debt & both are about to be evicted. To earn some money, Neerja has sublet the main room to a furniture renter, who converted it into a warehouse. The furniture is rented to movies for the day and returned to the room by night. They haven't even got the money to pay their electricity bills. Her husband was fired from multiple jobs for doing fraudulent activities at work. Manoj gives all the borrowed money of Rs 12,000 to pay for next 3 months rent but keeps the facade with Neerja. Neerja owed rent for the last 10 months, but Manoj begs the owner of the house to consider the part payment and to allow her to stay. He also gives his address and phone number to the owner and asks him to call before he takes any drastic action with Neerja. Manoj finally goes inside the rest of the rooms and realizes that everything that the owner told him is the truth. He comes face to face with Neerja's abject poverty. The owner leaves and then Neerja returns from the grocery store. Neerja says that the company is giving her husband a new flat and that she will shift in 2-3 days. The flat is the on the 7th floor and measures 3500 square feet. Neerja asks Manoj not to tell anyone back home that he met her. After a little more banter, Manoj bids goodbye to Neerja and goes back to Alok's home. They both don't share their phone numbers with each other. Neerja says that her new phone will be available in a few days and Manoj says that she doesn't remember his number as the phone stays with his secretary. When he comes home, he finds Neerja's jewelry in his raincoat which she has put there upon reading his letter to his friends to borrow money.

Deven spends considerable time designing the perfect car, calling it DC - which is very futuristic and more advanced than any other car in the market - and registering its patent. The SUV car is said to have 400BHP and 500NM of torque, as well as making it from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds. He also looks after an older Morris Minor MM, handed over to him by his late father, and calls it "Taarzan", which is based on the car's mirror ornament of the Disney character Tarzan. He meets with Rakesh Kapoor (Pankaj Dheer) and his partners, who praise his design but decline dealing with him, as they do not want to give royalty as part of the deal. Later, Deven finds that Kapoor and his partners conned him and registered his design under their name. Deven reports this to a police officer, Inspector Sanjay Sharma (Deepak Shirke), but the latter turns out to be on Kapoor's payroll. Kapoor, along with his cronies and Sharma, attack, and lock Deven in his car. The car is then pushed into the river, causing a bound and gagged Deven to die. Unaware of the truth behind Deven's death, his mother decides to bring up her grandson alone. 12 years later, in 2004, Raj Chaudary (Vatsal Sheth) is now a 22-year-old boy, living with Suhasini, and studies at a college where he falls in love with a rich girl named Priya Rakesh Kapoor (Ayesha Takia). Priya had recently transferred to the college from London and is attracted towards Raj's simplicity and honesty. Rocky (Sikandar Kharbanda) is the college Romeo cum bully and harasses Priya. The young Raj now works in the garage of Kartar Singh (paji) (Amrish Puri) as a mechanic. One day, Raj discovers Taarzan and recognizes it immediately. He somehow pools money and buys it at a throwaway price, which was 5000 rupees. Raj wants to update the car that reminds him of his father Deven. Little does he know that with the car, he has also brought back his father, whose soul is trapped inside the car. Rocky spikes Priya's drink in a bid to rape her, but Raj accidentally drinks that and proposes his love to Priya, which she finds charming. Kartar is moved on learning this and aides Raj in repairing Taarzan. Taarzan is totally revamped into a car even more advanced than Deven's design and Raj decides to rename it DC (as Raj's father's name Deven Chaudhary), to honor Deven's memory. Rocky and his entourage attacks Raj when they see that Raj has a spanking new car and Priya with him. That night the car drives itself and attacks Rocky and his goons and injures them badly. Rocky gets really scared and thinks Raj was behind the attack. Here, Deven's spirit possesses Taarzan and starts killing all those who were responsible for the murder: He kills Kailash Chopra (Mukesh Tiwari) when the latter is on his way to Palghar (The car is badly damaged in this, but it completely self-repairs back to its pristine new condition), he then kills Mahesh Saxena (Shakti Kapoor) during New Year's Eve (by drowning him in the same lake where Deven was killed), he kills officer Sanjay Sharma, in the latter's police jeep by pushing it down a ravine & when Sanjay tries to hide in his garage, Deven spills motor oil all over it and sets fire to it which consumes Sanjay. and finally, he kills Anthony D' Costa (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) when D' Costa decides to stay away from the car, by going to Nagpur. Since the car now belongs to Raj, he becomes a suspect in eyes of Inspector Khurana (Gulshan Grover), the investigating officer. Khurana has traced the car tracks to the location of Kailash's death and its license plate was recorded by Mahesh's wife before Mahesh was killed. But Khurana is unable to pin Raj since he has a solid alibi for both instances. But at the time of D'Costa's death, Raj and Priya find his car missing and go to Khurana. Khurana receives a call from D'Costa, saying that the car is trying to kill him, while Raj and Priya are sitting in front of him. The mystery deepens. Here, Kapoor returns to India after learning that all his partners have died. Kapoor is revealed to be Priya's father. When the car returns to Raj's garage, he chains it to avoid any further murders. Khurana threatens to crush the car if it is connected to any further deaths. On Priya's insistence, Kapoor goes to meet Raj, but after learning that Raj is Deven's son, Kapoor assumes that Raj has somehow found the truth and is using Priya as a pawn. Kapoor decides to kill Raj and take Priya back with him to London. Priya and Raj are both clueless, but Raj is shocked when Kapoor tells him the truth. Here, Taarzan comes alive again and in front of disbelieving eyes of Kapoor and Raj, jumps in the ocean to save Raj. Deven's spirit now becomes visible to everybody. In front of Raj, Suhasini, Priya, and Inspector Khurana, a terrified Kapoor confesses the crime. Khurana arrests Kapoor, while Deven says his last goodbye to Suhasini and Raj. With Raj, Suhasini, and Priya united, Deven's spirit becomes free, and he ascends to heaven, with Raj and Priya living a happy life afterwards. Later Raj marries Priya.

Read more →LOC Kargil opens with a dramatic shot of an Indian soldier's wireless set chirping frantic commands from one of the army bases, calling a patrol to report in while the radio operator lies dead in the snow. After frantic attempts from battalions to locate their lost patrols, the Indian Army HQ in Jammu and Kashmir decides to deploy more troops. They suffer a rude shock when company and even battalion-sized attacks are beaten back by the largely unknown enemy sitting on top of the steep and treacherous peaks surrounding Kargil, Mushkoh Valley, Drass, Batalik and the Kaksar sectors. After these terrible and surprising reverses, the decision is taken to go ahead with maximum mobilization and move its best fighting units into the area of operations. Orders are not to cross LOC. The first unit deployed is 1/11 Gorkha Rifles (1st Battalion, 11th Regiment) who are specialists in high-altitude warfare. 1/11 is led by its commanding officer, Col. Lalit Rai (Sudesh Berry), and has the charismatic and brave Lt. Manoj Pandey (Ajay Devgan) leading one of its platoons. Subsequently, the 18th Grenadiers (which was in the Kashmir Valley guarding against terrorist infiltration when they were urgently summoned to help throw out the intruders) are deployed. The Grenadiers were led by Colonel Khushal Thakur (Raj Babbar). Among the officers and soldiers were men like Lt. Col R Vishwanathan (Mohnish Behl), Major Rajesh Adhikari (Karan Nath), Lt. Balwan Singh (Akshaye Khanna), Captain Sachin Nimbalkar (Vineet Sharma), and Grenadiers Yogendra Singh Yadav (Ashutosh Rana & Manoj Bajpai). Other units like the 17th Jat, 2nd Rajputana Rifles, 22 & 16 Grenadiers, 2 Naga, 1 Bihar, 8 Sikh, 18 Garhwal Rifles, 12 JAK LI, 3 Punjab and 13th J&K Rifles are inducted into the theatre of conflict. The first assault is by the 1/11 Gorkhas advance platoon led by Lt. Manoj Pandey which links with the beleaguered and severely mauled Sikh Bn. They follow up to launch its attack on Kukarthang post, a very heavily defended enemy position supported by mortar units and artillery batteries on the Pakistani side of LOC. The Gurkhas take Kukarthang after suffering heavy casualties, revealing that the enemy is a trained army unit being given full-fire support from across the LOC. The second battle is at the strategic Tololing mountain which sits astride National Highway 1, the main supply route for the entire Northern Kashmir sector including Siachen and Leh. Col. Khushal's 18th Grenadiers 1st company, led by Major Adhikari, attacks Tololing. The company is held up midway to the top due to heavy fog; it waits for clear weather. The men when half asleep suffer intense shelling from artillery and mortars, causing casualties and panic. They try to get to safety by moving up the mountain but are pushed down by heavy small-arms fire from intruders dug into the well-prepared position atop the mountain. Subsequent counter-attacks from the Indians are stifled by stiff resistance, in the absence of artillery support for the Indians, claiming the lives of Major Adhikari and Lt. Col. Vishwanathan. The 18th Grenadiers are relieved by 2nd Rajputana Rifles, commanded by Col. Ravindranath (Ashish Vidyarthi), which moves in with an artillery battery of 110 mm field artillery and acclimatized troops. They launch a multi-pronged attack under artillery cover which ends in success but at the cost of losing many officers and ranks, including Capt. Vijayant Thapar (Amar Upadhyay), Maj. Padmapani Acharya (Nagarjuna Akkineni) and Maj. Vivek Gupta (Himanshu Malik). All this happens while the 13th J&K Rifles led by Lt. Col. Y K Joshi (Sanjay Dutt) stands by in case the 2nd Raj Rif fails. The 13th JAK Rif is blooded at Rocky Mount where they take the field after suffering heavy casualties. They follow it up with another victory at Point 5140 where Lt. Vikram Batra (Abhishek Bachchan) distinguishes himself by taking the south face of Pt 5140 without any casualties and is promoted to captain. The decisive phase of the war has come. 18th Grenadiers are assigned to take Tiger Hill, 17th Jat to Three Pimple complex feature, 1/11 Gorkhas to Khalubar Ridge and 13th J&K to Bunker Complex. The Grenadiers take Tiger Hill after a daring stealth attack by the elite Ghatak section, losing its lead Nk Yogender Singh Yadav (Ashutosh Rana). Only one of them Grenadier Yogendra Singh Yadav (Manoj Bajpayee) survives to link up with the rest of the battalion. 17th Jat suffers heavy casualties with Captain Anuj Nayyar (Saif Ali Khan) and several others killed and injured, but is able to secure Three Pimple complex. 1/11 Gorkhas link up with 22 Grenadiers at the base of Khalubar Ridge after braving an intense creeping barrage of artillery. Pandey somehow keeps the sagging morale of the weary unit up till the battalion begins its attack. The plans go awry as Gurkha CO Col Rai is injured by machine gun fire. Pandey volunteers to take out the bunkers which are holding up the attack. The machine guns are taken out, but Pandey is killed in action. The last battle is fought by the 13th J&K attacking Bunker Complex, but the unit gets split up. Capt Batra is sent to link up with Captain Nagappa (Nagender Choudhary) who has been captured one bunker and surrounded by the enemy. Batra links up with Capt. Nagappa but is pinned down himself by heavy enemy fire. He alone takes out two bunkers but is mortally wounded. The 13th JAK pursues the enemy to the LOC but stops due to orders not to cross the LOC. Finally, India declares 'OPERATION VIJAY' a success and victory and secures all its captured heights from the adversary. Just like J. P. Dutta's previous war movie BORDER, the Indian Military provided technical and material assistance during its production and filming. Weapons used in Kargil War like different variants of INSAS rifle family as well as the Famous Swedish Bofors artillery guns and BM-21 multiple rocket launchers. Air Force planes like Jaguars in bombing role and helicopters like Mi-17s and Cheetah were shown in casualty evacuation roles. Pakistani artillery shown were Indian field guns and 81 mm mortars. SLR stood for G3 rifles used by Pakistani Army.

Siddhant's engineer Murthi (Adi Irani) has prepared a report and has named Vikram and Prabhakar responsible for the accident. Murthi is shot by Vikram, but he manages to fax the report to Siddhant. Siddhant dies, but the children are saved. Their custody goes to Siddhant's relatives. Since Rajit has not tried to contact Siddhant for 14 years, he is considered dead. Vikram and Prabhakar make the children's lives miserable. Shekhar learns of Siddhant's death & children's plight via Jaddu. He decides to do a good turn & re-enters the home posing as Siddhant's long lost brother Rajit Rai. BBC collaborates with Jaddu to bring Shekhar into the house, as he could see that Vikram and Prabhakar would eventually kill the kids. BBC shares all the inside information to prove that Shekhar is Rajit. Anna too has returned after learning about Siddhant's death. She, along with the children, have an uneasy truce with Shekhar as he is their only hope now. Shekhar even saves Anna from Ranjit's evil eye. The villains try to discredit Shekhar, but the whole game turns Topsy Turvy when real Rajit Rai shows up. Seeing their last chance to usurp Siddhant's money vanish, the villains now side with Shekhar, prove him to be the real Rajit Rai aka Raju Chacha. The deal is simple: Shekhar will be their partner & get a 25% share in the estate. Anna witnesses this deal and again believes that Shekhar has betrayed her trust. However, Shekhar stuns the villains after being proved as Rajit Rai by letting them know that the "real" Rajit Rai is only his fellow conman Gafoor (Sanjay Dutt). Anna's trust in Shekhar is back as she sees that Shekhar only wanted to protect the kids and did not desire any money or wealth. Shekhar helps the kids get their rightful legacy back. Anna reconciles after seeing the change in Shekhar, but the joy is short lived when the villains succeed in sending Shekhar back to jail. Meanwhile, the truth of Siddhant's death is revealed to the children. The kids record Vikram's conversation on tape where he talks about how he got Siddhant killed. Shekhar escapes again & kills the villains' same way they killed Siddhant. The end credits come up as the kids sing in the hope that their real Raju Chacha one day might come back...

It is announced that a young man named Sameer Rosselline (Salman Khan) will be arriving to stay with the Darbar family (Including the Grandmother (Zohra Sehgal), mother Amritaa (Smita Jaykar), brother Tarun (Vinay Pathak), brother Bhairaon (Kenny Desai) (his wife Pushpa), youngest brother Nilesh, sister Shilpa (Dimple Inamdar). Mahaveer's sister Kamna (Rekha Rao)), as he wants to grasp the intricacies of Indian classical music under the guidance of the Pundit. He is accommodated in Nandini's room, causing her to take a dislike to Sameer. Sameer speaks to his dead father via sounds of thunder in the atmosphere. His father warns him against going to this place to learn music. Sameer cannot understand why and is determined to learn from Mahaveer. Mahaveer wont take a fee for his teachings. But he reserves the right to ask for a Gurudakshina at any time in the future. Sameer has a jovial nature and befriends everyone in the house with his antics, except Nandini. At first the two tease and prank one another (Nandini teaches Sameer a prank Namaskar to make a fool out of him in front of Mahaveer. Sameer farts when he thinks he is alone, but Nandini sees this). Sameer tells Nandini that soon her love will take her to Italy (he reads her feet as a form of reading the future). They become friends and start spending even more time together in front of the entire family (in events, games, picnics etc). Nandini teaches Sameer the various Gujrati dance forms and they also play the game of statue. But soon enough they fall deeply in love. The two spend romantic moments during several family events, including weddings and festivals. Nandini's cousin Anu is getting married. Unknown to anyone in the family Anu had a boyfriend, but Anu pushes her away as he waited for too long and now she has been promised to someone else and she cannot go against the honor of her family. Nandini and Sameer flirt a lot during the wedding. Nandini slaps Sameer for frolicking with her publicly during the wedding. Due to this Sameer locks himself up in his room. Vanraj (son of advocate Vikramjeet (Rajeev Varma)) arrives at the wedding and falls in love with Nandini when she performs a dance for all the guests. Vanraj sends a marriage proposal to Nandini and the process is on. Nandini is worried that Sameer is involved in fun and games while Mahaveer and Amritaa are planning her wedding to Vanraj. Kamna finds out about the affair between Sameer and Nandini. Kamna hates Nandini and she is disrespectful towards her. Meanwhile Anu comes back after fighting with her in-laws. Bhairaon and Mahaveer rule that Anu has to go back to her husband's house, no matter what. Nandini stands up for Anu and says that she does not love her husband and should not be forced to return. But Mahaveer is adamant and tells Nandini not to interfere. Nandini and Sameer help Anu run away with her lover, but Kamna sees this. Bhairaon goes berserk and blames Mahaveer for this calamity. Mahaveer blames Bhairaon for not giving the right values to Anu. But Kamna interjects and tells Mahaveer that even Nandini is having an affair, so Mahaveer should not question others. The pair are caught rehearsing their wedding vows by the Pundit and he is enraged since he has already planned Nandini's wedding with Vanraj (Ajay Devgan), who had fallen in love with her during her cousin Anu's (Sheeba Chaddha) wedding. Sameer is banished from the household and the Pundit quits singing since he believes Nandini has brought shame to the family. Sameer is asked never to meet Nandini again (Mahaveer asks for this as his Gurudakshina). Although he eventually leaves for Italy, he writes letters to Nandini asking her to join him, but his letters do not reach her. After a futile suicide attempt (she cuts her wrists and bleeds off into the swimming pool), Nandini reluctantly weds Vanraj. He tries to consummate their marriage on their wedding night, but Nandini is disgusted by his approach and acts coldly towards him. He asks her for an explanation but she chooses to remain silent. Nandini finally receives Sameer's letters (The house servant delivers them to her, when she was already married and in her new house) and Vanraj walks in on her reading them. He is enraged and initially decides to return her to her parents, but soon realizes that since she is in love with another man, the right thing to do would be to unite the pair. Vanraj seeks his parents consent, which they give after disagreeing at first. Nandini and Vanraj arrive in Italy but come up against dead ends searching for Sameer. They almost find Sameer at a cafe, when they see a drawing from him in their guest book. Nandini chases after Sameer but nearly dies in the path of an oncoming tram. Vanraj saves Nandini.. They gradually become friends and start to enjoy each other's company. During their search, they are mobbed and Nandini is shot in the arm. Vanraj carries Nandini to the hospital in his arms and saves her life. Moved by Vanraj's gentleness and affection towards her, Nandini begins to warm up to him. Vanraj has to sell his wedding ring, as he had no money left for Nandini's hospital bills. Eventually, they are able to locate Sameer through his mother Zooni (Helen), and Vanraj dutifully arranges for their meeting on the night of Sameer's debut concert. He then bids goodbye to Nandini and walks away heartbroken. Upon meeting Sameer, she apologizes to him and tells him that she has come to love Vanraj. She reflects on the unwavering love and devotion that Vanraj has showered upon her throughout their relationship, and realizes that Vanraj is her true soul mate. Sameer realizes that she doesn't have that love for him which he saw in her long back. Heartbroken, Sameer lets her go back to Vanraj which she readily accepts and Sameer breaks down after she leaves and his mother consoles him. She runs back to Vanraj and he tells her that he cannot live without her. Vanraj adorns a Mangala Sutra around her neck and they embrace each other.

Turns out Raja was driving with his hand brakes on. Annu (Guddi Maruti) is Madhu's best friend. Annu is a journalist and is hunting for Vijay's interview, who is a noted industrialist. Madhu barges into Vijay's cabin an interviews an employee of his, thinking that the employee is Vijay. The employee flirts with Madhu and she is disgusted. that evening, Vijay is the chief guest (invited by CK Oberoi and introduced by him) at Madhu's dance performance and that's how she finds out who is the real Vijay. Vijay professes his love for Madhu, and she agrees. They start dating, which Raja sees. Jagat fills poison in Raja's heart and Raja bribes an employee (Rajesh Puri) of Vijay to get their tender details. Raja starts winning contracts that used to go to Vijay. Vijay finds the mole, but instead of firing him, he takes on all responsibility of the employee's daughter's marriage. The employee is ashamed and vows his loyalty to Vijay. Meanwhile CK admonishes Raja for using underhand tactics against Vijay. Raja is aghast and questions his relationship with Vijay, to which Sharda objects. Raja and Jagat pay Sampat (Kiran Kumar), a mill union leader, to conduct a strike in Vijay's mill. But Vijay is a friend of the workers, and the strike fails. Humiliated, Sampat tries to kill Vijay by dropping heavy machine on him inside his factory. But Vijay escapes and attacks Sampat and his goons at their hideout and Sampat is arrested by the police. Vijay is up for election as President of the Mill Owner's Association, but when he finds that CK is standing for the post, he withdraws his nomination publicly. At the party, Raja tries to insult Vijay over his unknown origins and his beggar type upbringing, but Vijay turns the tables saying that he is funding the party for CK and that Raja and Jagat are eating his food. Raja is humiliated. Raja alleges to Sharda that Vijay is CK's illegal son, and she slaps him, hard. Jagat tells Sharda to get Raja married to Madhu. But Kaushalya gets there first and secures Madhu for Vijay. when CK and Sharda get there, CK supports the decision to wed Madhu to Vijay. Sharda is angry at this decision. Jagat then instigates Amarnath that Vijay is an illegal son of God knows who, and hence cannot be socially acceptable. Amarnath cancels the wedding with Vijay, and Amarnath begs Sharda to accept Madhu as bride for Raja. Kaushalya has a heart attack and dies from the shock. Madhu reaches Vijay and vows to be with him. Raja attacks Vijay, and this time Vijay beats him back. Raja is bloodied and Vijay drops him back at his home. Sharda goes to confront Vijay, and this is the first time she actually looks at him. Vijay looks exactly like a guy named Dev whom she used to date, back before she was married to CK. Sharda realizes that Vijay is her son from Dev and not CK's. Sharda rushes home to confront Jagat and says that he was wrong to tell her all those yrs ago that her child was born dead. Raja attacks Vijay and injures him badly, but CK intervenes at the right time and saves him. CK reports to the police and tells them to arrest Raja, Jagat and Sampat for the attack on Vijay. CK gives his own blood to save Vijay. He confronts Sharda, who admits that Vijay was born to her before her marriage to CK. And Jagat lied to her saying that she gave birth to a dead son. Raja and Jagat abduct Sharda and CK and want CK to sign over all assets to Raja. CK signs the papers, but then Raja wants to forcefully marry Madhu, which CK objects to. Raja slaps Sharda, which wakes Vijay up in his bed at the hospital. Vijay attacks and saves everyone. CK picks a gun to shoot Raja, but Vijay stops this by taking the bullet himself. All is forgiven and Vijay married Madhu.
