Yennai Arindhaal captures the various stages in the life of police officer Sathyadev. A dedicated Sathya puts his work before anything else and continues to risk his life to fight anti-social behaviour thereby making his city a safer place to live in. But above all, Sathya takes upon himself to find the culprit who murdered his fiancee. His journey takes him around the world where a series of action sequences and high adrenaline situations arises culminating into a surprising climax.

Sachi (Jayaram) is an agricultural officer by profession. He leads a happy and peaceful married life with his wife Shyama (Meera Jasmine) and their daughter. Everyone in the village look at them as the perfect family. But their peaceful life goes for a toss when Sachi`s close friend, Jose (Manoj K Jayan) comes over from Dubai to spend his vacation. What follows forms the crux of the plot.

Vidyalakshmi decides to start a life with her love, Shanavas, by challenging the dictates of her family. Shanavas too faces severe opposition from his family members since he gets married to a girl from another caste. Soon they have a daughter who is named Laya. However all`s not well and Vidya is left stranded in a busy city along with her kid.
