Pining for a lavish life abroad, a lazy but lovable guy-next-door crafts a scam to avoid a career in nursing and find a wealthy spouse to secure a visa.

Puthiya Niyamam is set in a metro city. The story unfolds the life of family court lawyer Adv. Louis Pothen (Mammootty) and his wife and dancer Vasuki (Nayantara). Their marriage was an inter-caste love marriage and they start having problems. Adv. Louis Pothen is a master in dealing with divorce cases and in most such cases, he stands with the husband and tries to make a compromise so that the couples are not separated. He is a political observer and used to participate in channel discussions too. It is at this juncture that an unexpected problem affects the whole family and the consequent efforts of Louis to solve the issue form the rest of the plot.

The day before Do-kyeong's wedding, his ex-girlfriend, Ga-in, visits him.

`One Way Ticket` is basically the story of crazy fans of superstars who go to any extent to promote their screen idols and their movies. In the film, Prithviraj plays Kunjappu, the only hope of his family comprising of two unmarried sisters and his mother. He is an ardent viewer of movies, a crazy fan of superstar Mammootty and the district president of Mammootty fans association! Kunjappau`s fan`s activities make him a clown before all his immediate family members. The movie is full of comedy offering some messages for serious thinking and will feature scenes where the super star supports his fans who are more involved in social support activities than in the promotion of stardom on some critical issues.
