`Poppins` is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by V. K. Prakash. It stars ten leading actors as five couples. The film is an adaptation of the Sahitya Akademi award-winning play `8 Natakangal` by Jayaprakash Kuloor. The story centers around man-woman relationships which are weaved into a single story, encapsulating the struggles of a filmmaker, exploring different facets of the institution called marriage.

''Vadhyar'' has been directed by Nidheesh Shakthi. The film centres around Anoop Krishnan (Jayasurya) who wants to study Business Administration but lands up with a B.Ed. He begins teaching at Kottapuram Saraswathi Vilasam U P School under Subhadra ( Menaka), the headmistress. The film is essentially about what happens when a teacher with minimal interest in teaching begins teaching. Anne Augustine plays the leading actress in the film. The film has been directed by Nidheesh Shakti and produced by N Sudhish under Lakshminath Creations. Rajesh Raghavan has scripted the film and R Gautham has composed the music. Some of the film's other actors include Nedumudi Venu, Vijayaraghavan, Bijukuttan, Harisree Ashokan and Anil Murali.
