Calvin (Ice Cube) and his long-time crew, including Eddie (Cedric the Entertainer), are still there, but the shop has undergone some major changes. Most noticeably, our once male-dominated sanctuary is now co-ed. The ladies bring their own flavor, drama and gossip to the shop challenging the fellas at every turn. Despite the good times and camaraderie within the shop, the surrounding community has taken a turn for the worse, forcing Calvin and our crew to come together to not only save the shop, but their neighbourhood.

Agent Cody Banks (Frankie Muniz) attends summer camp, actually a secret facility for training CIA teenage agents. Cody is the top performing agent at the facility and is well trained in various hand to hand combat tactics, weapons handling and operation of many different kinds of spy equipment. When parents come over for a visit, the entire camp is transformed to leave no trace of its CIA origins. When a group of CIA soldiers attempt to abduct head counselor Victor Diaz (Keith Allen), Cody helps him escape capture, mistaking the CIA operation for a training exercise. Cody loads Diaz into a helicopter and disables the other one, so nobody can follow him. The director later informs Cody that Diaz stole disks containing plans for a secret mind-control device. Diaz was in charge of the program when the CIA discovered it and ordered it to be shut down. But before the research could be confiscated, Diaz escaped. The disk contains the software for the mind control program. The director says that the CIA maintains a secret storage facility underground at the camp site. Cody is equipped with mission devices and sent to the UK where Diaz was last seen. Cody lives with his parents Mrs Banks (Cynthia Stevenson) and Mr Banks (Daniel Roebuck) and has a 11 year old brother Alex (Connor Widdows). Alex knows that Cody is in the CIA, but nobody believes him. In the United Kingdom, Cody poses as a summer orchestra student at the Kenworth estate to spy on owner Lord Duncan Kenworth (James Faulkner), suspected of working with Diaz. Cody would be staying with 11 other musical geniuses from all over the world. Cody had written on his profile that he played the clarinet for 3 years, but he admits that he did that only to impress and meet girls. Cody reads in the papers that a G7 summit is to be held at the Buckingham palace in the near future. Lord Duncan is a brilliant scientist himself, and the CIA believes only Duncan has the resources and the capability to convert the mind control device into a working prototype weapon. Cody is supported by his handler, Derek (Anthony Anderson) and Kumar (Rod Silvers), Derek's right-hand man, who are disguised as a chef hired by Lady Josephine Kenworth (Anna Chancellor) and a taxi driver respectively. Neville (Paul Kaye) is Derek's hysterical and quirky assistant who helps Cody with a variety of gadgets. Devices including exploding Mentos, a retainer with an in-built communicator, a high tensile wire camouflaged inside a normal pen, a clarinet that can play any programmed tune by itself and so on. While keeping his mission a secret from his fellow students, Cody sneaks around the estate and confirms that Diaz and Duncan are working together and that they have a working prototype of the mind control device, evidenced when Duncan makes a dog serve drinks and play the piano. Cody learns that the orchestra is scheduled to play at the Buckingham palace during the G7 summit. Cody realizes that Duncan and Diaz plan to implant all world leaders in the G7 summit with the mind control device. Cody meets Derek in his room and relays what he saw in the meeting between Duncan and Diaz. Derek promises to make sure that the information reaches the CIA HQ. Derek speaks to the CIA director, who asks Cody to get into the lab and find out more about the mind control device and how it works. Derek wants to be a field agent as well, but he is very clumsy and almost destroys the Kenworth kitchen due to his ineptitude. The next day, Cody breaks into a lab owned by Duncan, where he sees the finished device: a microchip inserted as a filling into a tooth cavity by dentist Santiago (Santiago Segura). Shortly afterwards Cody and Derek chase Diaz, armed with a rocket gun, through London streets, but Cody is captured by the Metropolitan Police Service and taken to Scotland Yard. He is later freed by Emily (Hannah Spearritt), a fellow student who, similar to Cody, is actually a British MI6 undercover operative. While Emily buys coffee and soda, henchmen sneak up on Cody, knocking him unconscious by drugging him with spray. They kidnap him and implant him with the microchip. Under Duncan, Santiago and Diaz's influence, Cody meets the CIA director (Keith David), who is then also converted. This is witnessed by Emily, who explains things to Derek. To get the microchip out of Cody, Derek cuts one of Cody's gadgets, exploding Mentos mints, into a precisely minuscule amount to safely remove the mind control gadget. The group later realize Diaz's plan: to implant all of the world leaders, who are all in London for a G7 summit at Buckingham Palace, effectively giving him control of the world. Deducing that with the CIA director under Diaz's control, they may be put on a most wanted list, Cody, Derek and Emily infiltrate the party before the summit. They explain the truth to the other students, who are performing for the guests, and urge them to keep the world leaders from attending the G7 summit. They later proceed to do so with an impromptu performance of War, while Cody, Emily and Derek search for the villains. Derek is implanted with the microchip and is set on Cody by Santiago. Before Santiago can kill him through Derek, Emily finds and subdues him, disabling the mind control software and rescuing the U.S. President, who was about to be implanted. Shortly after Cody kicks out Derek's microchip, the two of them remove the CIA director's microchip. Diaz, realizing that his plan has failed attempts to flee, but ends up fighting, and being defeated by Cody in the Queen's gift room. Duncan also attempts to escape, but is tripped by his apparently senile and blind butler Trival Jenkins (David Kelly), who turns out to be Emily's handler. After the villains are arrested, Cody returns to the camp, where Derek is now in charge as reward. Cody's parents pick him up, none the wiser about his dangerous exploits. Alex, Cody's younger brother tries to eat a few of his explosive Mentos, but Cody tosses them into the pond where they explode harmlessly.

In 1982 Brooklyn, a boy named Charlie Carbone is about to become the stepson of a crime boss named Salvatore Maggio (Christopher Walken). The mobster's juvenile delinquent apprentice Frankie Lombardo (Michael Shannon) tries to drown Charlie (he throws a long pass at the beach into the water and asks Charlie to retrieve the ball, when Charlie didn't know how to swim), but a boy named Louis Booker (Anthony Anderson) saves him and they become best friends. That was the only day Louis got Charlie out of trouble.. For the rest of his life Louis reminds Charlie that he saved his life and gets him into trouble. Twenty years later, in 2002, Charlie (Jerry O'Connell) now runs his own beauty salon and Louis still remains his best friend, but Sal's henchmen take a majority (80%) of the salon's profits, leaving Charlie very little for improvements. After they botch the job of hiding some stolen television sets (This was Louis's deal and he wanted Charlie's help to hide the TVs before he can make the delivery), resulting in the discovery of Sal's warehouse (after being chased by the police, only 5 sets remain intact which Louis takes to Sal's warehouse, and are followed by the police in a helicopter) and the arrest of at least one of his men, Sal gives Charlie and Louis one more chance. Under instructions from Frankie, they are to deliver a package to a man named Mr. Smith (Marton Csokas) in Coober Pedy, Australia. Frankie also warns them against opening the package "under any circumstances" and to call Mr. Smith at the phone number he gives them should they run into any trouble. Unknown to Charlie and Louis, however, Sal tells his Capo (Tony Nikolakopoulos) that he is "canceling their return trip." On the plane, Louis opens the package, against Frankie's warnings, to find $50,000 in cash. Upon landing in Australia (Charlie is so afraid that he is strip searched by the customs, but luckily Louis had taken the envelope and hid inside his jacket), they rent a Land Cruiser and head to Mr. Smith. Along their way, they accidentally run over a red kangaroo. Thinking it is dead, Louis puts his "lucky jacket" on the kangaroo and with Charlie's sunglasses to pose for photographs as a joke, as he thinks the kangaroo looks like "Jackie Legs", one of Sal's henchmen from Canarsie. The kangaroo then suddenly regains consciousness and hops away with one problem; the $50,000 was in the jacket. Charlie and Louis get into their car and try to reclaim the money from the jacket on the kangaroo, but the ensuing chase ends with the duo crashing through a field of termite mounds and then into a pile of rocks, wrecking the car. At a pub in Alice Springs, Louis manages to call Mr. Smith and tries to explain their situation. Mr. Smith, however, thinks they stole his package and threatens to kill Louis and Charlie, telling him that they had better have the money ready when he meets them, or he'll "chop them into snags and feed them to the crocodiles"; he then plans to find them himself. Smith tracks the number to the bar from where Louis called him. Back in New York City, Sal gets the call from Mr. Smith saying that Charlie and Louis haven't arrived; Sal then sends Frankie and some men to Australia to investigate. Meanwhile, Charlie and Louis attempt to reclaim the money from the kangaroo by shooting it with a tranquilizer dart from a biplane (Louis had met a girl Jessie from the wildlife foundation, who gave him this idea after hearing his story). The attempt fails when Louis accidentally shoots Blue (Bill Hunter) the pilot and strands the trio in the desert. Louis asks Blue to point them to the nearest wildlife foundation center, hoping that they run into Jessie. They spend many hours wandering in the desert, during which Charlie hallucinates about a jeep, and they soon meet a woman from the Outback Wildlife Foundation called Jessie (Estella Warren), who Louis previously met in Alice Springs. Thinking she is only a mirage, Charlie grabs her breasts and she knocks him out with her canteen. While unconscious, Charlie dreams about meeting a speaking, rapping version of the kangaroo, while Sal and Louis mock him in kangaroo forms. Meawhile Blue stayed with the plane and tried to fix his radio. He gets it working, but his location is heard by Mr Smith, who then severs the connection. Smith gets to Blue and finds where Louis and Charlie are headed. The following day, the trio get on camels (Jessie agrees to help them when Charlie offers a $2000 grant to her foundation. Louis had told her that the Kangaroo had their passports, and nothing about the $50K) then track the kangaroo at the nearby Todd River and try again to catch it with bolas (They cover themselves to mud to cover their human scent and get close to the Kangaroo), but Louis accidentally botches their attempt when a swarm of ants crawls up his pants. While waiting for the next opportunity to catch the kangaroo, Charlie begins developing feelings for Jessie, which she claims not to return at first, but he senses that she is lying. The next day, Mr. Smith and his henchmen arrive and capture the trio. Smith takes Jessie with him to track the Kangaroo, and orders his men to kill Charlie and Louis. Charlie and Louis turn the tables (Louis cuts their ropes by taking a scissor hidden in Charlie's pockets) and outsmart them, only to find Frankie has tracked them and is prepared to kill Smith, Charlie and Louis. Just as he is about to however, the kangaroo suddenly returns causing a fist fight between Mr. Smith's henchmen and Frankie's crew, who outmatch them. The distraction allows Charlie, Louis, and Jessie to escape on their camels. A final three-way chase ensues, with Charlie, Louis and Jessie chasing after the kangaroo while being pursued by Frankie and his goons. Louis finally manages to retrieve the money from the kangaroo but ends up nearly falling down a cliff and is narrowly saved by Charlie and Jessie. After getting the money back, Charlie tries to hand it over to Frankie once and for all, but the latter angrily declines and reveals that Sal really sent them to Australia to pay for their own execution at the hands of Mr. Smith much to the shock of Charlie and Louis. Out of nowhere, the police force led by an undercover cop Mr./Sgt. Jimmy Inkamale (David Ngoombujarra) arrive and arrest Frankie, Mr. Smith, and their respective henchmen. Charlie and Louis call each other true friends, and Charlie reclaims Louis' lucky jacket from the kangaroo (it was proven lucky as otherwise they would have delivered the money to Smith and ended up dead), who turns out to have a family. One year later, Charlie and Jessie are married and have used Sal's $50,000 to start a line of new hair care products bearing a kangaroo logo, and Louis has become Charlie's advertising partner. Frankie, Mr. Smith, and their men have been imprisoned for life as has Sal who has failed at using his high-level connections to avoid arrest as mentioned in Charlie's narration where the newspaper states that he is currently on trial. The kangaroo, now called "Kangaroo Jack", is still happily living in the outback. Now able to speak again, Jack breaks the fourth wall, explaining why the film should end with him and closes it with his version of Porky Pig's famous catchphrase "That's all, blokes!"

A senator arranges for his son, a rich white kid who fancies himself black, to be kidnapped by a couple of black actors pretending to be murderers to try and shock him out of his plans to become a rapper. Brad Gluckman or "B-rad" acts like he is from the hood, when he is white and lives in a rich neighborhood in Malibu. He is ruining his fathers election for governor, and he and his crew come up with an idea, to send "B-rad" to the hood to turn him back into a white boy. This movie is filled with laughs and is a great comedy. Brad Gluckman (Kennedy) is a wannabe rap star from Malibu who acts and talks like he's from the "'hood." Concerned that his son is going to embarrass him during his campaign to become the governor of California, Brad's wealthy father and his campaign manager (Underwood), hire two trained actors (Diggs and Anderson) to disguise themselves as "real life gangstaz", and kidnap his son, dropping him off in the "real hood" in Compton, in an effort to scare the ghettofied attitude and behavior out of him. —Anonymous

When they goes to the fence to get them, they discover that someone stole them. His daughter has been kidnapped by the man who owns the stones, and wants them back. They discover that the one sho stole them is a rival of the criminal, while they go to every single one of his associates to find who has them. On a cold winter Saturday in Chicago in year 2002, Calvin Palmer, Jr. (Ice Cube) decides he has had enough of trying to keep open the barbershop his father handed down to him after running it for 40 years. Calvin has been running the shop for 2 years. He cannot borrow enough money from Bank Manager (Lorenzo Clemons) to keep the place open (the bank will foreclose on the shop if he doesn't pay the property taxes), it is not bringing in enough revenue, and he is more interested in coming up with get-rich-quick schemes to bring in easy money. Without telling his employees or the customers, Calvin sells his barbershop to a greedy loan shark named Lester Wallace (Keith David), who lies about keeping the place the same and secretly plans to turn the place into a strip club. Calvin's plan is to invest the proceeds into creating recording studio & play in the big leagues of the music industry. When his wife Jennifer (Jazsmin Lewis) finds out, she points out that the business was never under debt until Calvin started borrowing money to finance his schemes including a failed T-shirt company, and herbal life vitamins. Jennifer is pregnant and is expected to deliver shortly. The staff at the shop includes Eddie Walker (Cedric the Entertainer), Ricky (who carries a weapon in his backpack), Terri Jones (Eve) (who finds that her boyfriend Kevin (Jason Winston George) is cheating on her), Jimmy James (Sean Patrick Thomas), Isaac Rosenberg (Troy Garity) (who is white, but acts like an African American) and others. Prior to this, two wannabe thugs, JD (Anthony Anderson) and his best friend Billy (Lahmard Tate), steal an ATM from a convenience store. Due to Billy's clumsiness the thugs end up damaging the convenience store bu driving their pick-up truck right through its front facade. They tie an iron chain around the ATM and pull with the brute force of the pick-up truck. During the attempt, the truck's rear fender detaches and falls inside the store, which neither Billy nor JD notices. Detective Williams (Tom Wright) comes by the shop the following morning to interrogate Ricky as he has a criminal past and is a 2 time felon. Williams warns that he has the CCTV footage from the camera at the convenience store and in a few hours he will know the truth. The barbershop is a focal point for the community where people gather and exchange good vibes and humor. They take the machine back to Billy's place and they spend all day trying to pry it open. Calvin says words of encouragement to the convenience store owner Samir (Parvesh Cheena), which helps Samir & deepens his resolve to keep the shop open & continue serving the community. Samir tells Calvin that the ATM machine was brand new & had no cash, but the machine itself is quite valuable & banks give $ 50K reward for returning it. After spending a day at work and realizing just how vital the barbershop is to the surrounding community & everyone who works there, Calvin rethinks his decision and tries to get his shop back, only to find out Wallace wants double the $20,000 he paid Calvin to give the shop back, and before 7 P.M. Meanwhile JD & Billy keep having issues in hiding the ATM machine as Billy keeps messing up & keeps on increasing the visibility & attracting attention to himself & the machine. Now Calvin has only a scant few hours to try to raise enough money to save the shop. After he admits to the employees that he sold the barber shop and that it would be closing at the end of the day, Chicago police come in and arrests one of the barbers named Ricky (Michael Ealy). Ricky was arrested after being accused of driving his pickup truck into a nearby market to steal the ATM, but it is revealed that the ATM thief, JD, is Ricky's cousin and he was the one who committed the crime after borrowing Ricky's truck. That was Ricky's third strike, and he could be sentenced to life in prison. Calvin uses the $20,000 from Lester to bail Ricky out of jail. Once Calvin picks Ricky up from the jail, Ricky is angry at his cousin for betraying him and wants to kill him. Ricky had called JD from jail & when JD found out that this was Ricky's third strike, he was happy because Ricky would be jailed for life & could not harm JD anyways. Calvin tries to calm him down, but Ricky does not show any sign of calming down. Calvin gives Ricky a gun he found that fell out of Ricky's locker at the shop and is disappointed that Ricky is going to end up right back in jail. Ricky tells Calvin to pull the car over, and he does. Ricky gets out and decides to throw the gun off the bridge they are on and into the water before getting back into the car, proving that he does not want to get in any more trouble with the law. Then they both go to see Lester. Lester, as well as JD and Billy (who were still trying to pry it open, by using the blow torch in Lester's workshop, without Lester's knowledge) are confronted by Calvin and Ricky. Calvin and Ricky demands Lester to give Calvin his barbershop back. Rickey threatens to reveal the existence of the stolen ATM machine to the police along with the fact that Lester is dealing with stolen car parts in his workshop. Lester is angered and orders his bodyguard Monk (Kevyn Morrow) to pull out his gun. The police arrive just in time to save Calvin and Ricky. JD and Billy are arrested. Calvin and Ricky take the ATM and get a $50,000 reward for returning it to police. They get the money, and the barbershop reopens with even better business than before. In the meantime, Calvin's wife, Jennifer (Jazsmin Lewis), has given birth to a baby boy.

Shante Smith (Vivica A. Fox) is a woman who gives advice on how to keep a man in check. Her ideals are challenged when her man, an attorney, named Keith Fenton (Morris Chestnut), threatens to stray. Smith is a well-educated woman who feels that when it comes to men and their tricks, she knows them all. Shante is a senior advertising executive at Parker & Long agency. Keith is an attorney and was accomplished at sports in his prime. Shante says that men stay in line during the winter as they need the "indoor activity", but every year as spring arrives, it is breakup season. This is the time of the year when women start wearing short skirts, skimpy clothes and cause men to lose their mind. Shante says that she specializes in keeping men in line, who are unable to say no. Shante says that if men act right, women will automatically give them all the love and respect that they need. Shante's girlfriend Karen (Wendy Raquel Robinson) was cheated on by her boyfriend Michael (Bobby Brown). Karen was now living with Shante, and Shante was guiding her on the next steps. Karen is a top executive at a big engineering firm. Michael was a car mechanic with crooked teeth. Karen was charmed by him and in return Karen paid for his dental work and a completely new wardrobe. Michael asked Karen to marry him, but then started to take her for granted. It was 2 years since Michael proposed marriage and was now avoiding her. Shante asked Karen to kick Michael out. Tracey (Tamala Jones) is Shante's other friend, and her man Dwain (Dondre T. Whitfield) had roving eyes. Shante asks Tracey to put a Panty in the couch (that is not her own) and pull it out in front of Dwain to check his reaction. Dwain claims that they belong to his sister, who came to do laundry. Diedre (Mo'Nique) is Shante's other friend whose boyfriend Tyrone is always borrowing money from her and losing it in gambling. Shante says that before the actual cheating there are excuses like "I was working late", "I got new underwear as the old ones were worn out", Lost ring, trying to get back in shape. Connie "Conny" Spalding (Gabrielle Union) works in the same office as Keith and is the Vice President of Marketing. Conny is drop dead gorgeous. When Keith, is caught red-handed stepping out with a coworker, Shante institutes her "Ten Day Plan" to get her man in line. Keith had told Shante that he was "working late", but Shante finds him on the dance floor with a woman Julie (Natashia Williams) at a club, where she was with her girls. Shante casually confronts Keith (without making a scene) but hides the situation from her girlfriends. She says that the girlfriends will only give her bad advice, that will shake her confidence. On the other end, Shante's boyfriend Keith is being led by his friend Tony (Anthony Anderson), who thinks he knows all the tricks that women play. Tony says that Keith went out with Julie as he wanted to have sex with her. Tony tells Keith not to call Shante first as whoever calls first, loses ground. Keith calls the next day, taking his time as Tony taught him. But Shante rushes him saying that a client is coming in and asks him to meet at dinner. At dinner, Shante is deliberately 15 mins late to build anxiety. Kieth admits that he was wrong, as guided by Tony. Shante says that she wants some time apart to test the waters. Shante now decides to punish Keith was his stray behavior. She goes shopping with her friends, while she knows that Keith is feeling miserable. Keith calls twice, and Shante screens him. Keith even gets tickets to her favorite concert, but Shante doesn't budge. As Keith is still playing it cool, Shante ups the ante by hugging an acquaintance in church, while Keith's friends are watching. The friends tell Tony about the "hug". Keith calls Shante 8 times ad she still screens him. Keith misses work and Tony realizes that Keith is now hurting. Keith goes over to Shante's place, but Shante had already anticipated this. Keith tries to seduce Shante and when she pulls back, they have an argument, and Shante ends up yelling at Keith. Now the frustration is transferred over to Shante. Keith goes dancing with Conny. It is evident that Conny is attracted to Keith and wants to have sex with him. The next evening, Shante dresses all sexy and goes over to Keith's with the excuse of returning his remaining stuff. Keith begs her to come inside. Shante gets Keith all hot and heavy and then leaves in the middle of foreplay. Tony tells Keith that now Shante has turned the tables on him, and she has the power. Tony says that Keith is now fighting for all mankind as if Shante gets away with her tricks, soon women all the world will be trying the same thing to get their men under control. Keith decides to go to a party with Conny, knowing that Shante would be there. Shante is mortified to see Keith with Conny, as she expected Keith to return to her begging for forgiveness. Shante tells Conny to back off, but she refuses and tells Shante to control her own man. Shante's girlfriends were also at the party, and they see Keith with Conny. They heighten the situation by panicking and forcing Shante to make bad decisions. To counter Keith, Shante brings her own guy named Calvin to the party. She pretends to have a flat tire and reels in a smooth looking guy. Shante spends the entire party talking to this guy and then takes him to a quiet corner of the party. Keith confronts Shante and says that she is back to playing her games. Shante ignores Keith and drops a condom from her purse, leading Keith to believes that she will have sex with Calvin. Keith tells Shante that if she leaves with Calvin, he will sleep with Conny. Shante takes a gamble and walks out, hoping that Keith will come back to her. When Calvin drops her home, she bids goodbye to him. To Shante's shock, Keith never arrives. She goes to bar, where she finds Keith drinking alone. Shante admits that she was trying to control Keith with her rules. Keith admits that he really loves Shante and they get back together.

A plane is flying through a heavy storm that is filled with rowdy college students coming back from Hawaii after spring break. One couple heads into the lavatory for sex when the girl sees the words "you're going down" written in red on a mirror. The plane starts a descent, and the couple exits the bathroom to find all of the passengers dead and the killer, a flight attendent wielding a knife, attacks them. The couple runs into the cockpit to find both pilots dead. While the boy tries to hold the killer steward off by holding the door closed, the girl gets in the pilot seat and yells "mayday!" over the radio. Suddenly... Toby the director yells "Cut!" as the camera pulls back to reveal that this whole thing is a horror movie filmed by a small college crew at Alpine University. Toby yells at his crew for not getting the shot right as well as the blond girl, Sandra Petruzzi (Jessica Cauffiel), over her motivation. When the work is completed for the day, the sound recorder Amy Mayfied (Jennifer Morrison), walks home to her doom where it's revealed that she is a aspiring filmmaker wanting to write and direct her own movie some day. The next day, Amy is in class with other film students listing to the talk of the Alfred Hitchcock Film Award and the thesis film projects. Walking back to her dorm after her late night class, Amy is given a ride by Reese Wilson (Loretta Devine), the campus security guard. The two of them talk about Pam Grier and that they are both fans of her movies. Amy tells Reese that she has a film due, but cannot think of a good story, Reese tells her that a few years ago she was the security guard at Pendleton University where a serial killer killed eight students there, but Amy dismisses it as the local urban legend of the area. Later, Amy visits her film class teacher, Professor Solomon (Hart Bochner), and gives him her idea about making a film about a killer who kills people basing them on urban legends. The professor thinks that its a great idea. That evening, film student Travis Stark (Matthew Davis) is in a local bar with his girlfriend Lisa and they talk about his films. As Lisa orders two more drinks, someone slips a pill in her drink. Travis leaves to go to work on his latest movie, and Toby (Aston Mount) walks over to Lisa to hit on her. Lisa leaves, telling him that he can pay for the drinks. She stumbles into a coatroom where an unseen person sneaks up behind her and throws a plastic bad over her head. Lisa wakes up sometime later that night in a bathtub full of ice with a wound on her stomach and sees one of her kidney's is on a plate nearby. Lisa sees someone in the other room of what appears to be an abandoned building. She crawls out of the tub and shuts the door. Lisa calls 911 on her cell phone, but the operator thinks that its a prank call and hangs up on her. Lisa tries crawling out a window when the unseen person breaks in and pulls her back in, and breaking the window. The window is slammed shut on Lisa's neck, beheading her. The next day, Amy asks Travis if he can look at her approved script. When Amy tells some fellow students about her movie, Toby pulls her aside and accuses her of stealing his horror genre and says that no one will take the Hitchcock Award away from him which he feels belongs to him and him only. Amy goes to see Travis who is upset that he got a C- on his film and asks if she knows an available cinematographer. On the set, three of the film student crew, Stan Washington (Anthony Anderson), Dirk Reynolds (Michael Bacall), as well as Sandra fake an accident in which Sandra plays dead with some blood makeup on her head. After Amy describes the scene to Sandra, the cinematographer Schorm "Simon" Jabuscko (Marco Hofschneider), shows up with his camera. As people are leaving for the night, Sandra returns to the set for her dorm room keys. Someone sneaks into the studio and attaches a microphone to a camera and approaches her. The next day in the screening room, Amy and her friends watch the latest footage they shot. But the footage changes to feature Sandra being chased and killed by the unseen killer. Amy thinks that it is real, but the others think is another of Sandra's practical jokes. Later that day, Amy and the others get news that Travis killed himself. Another film student, named Graham Manning (Joseph Lawrence), talks to Amy, assuring her that Sandra is probably in Los Angeles filming a bit part on the series ER. Amy goes to the campus tower where it is said that Travis shot himself over his bad grade. There, Amy has a run-in with Travis' identical twin brother, Trevor (also Mathew Davis). He tells Amy that he thinks that Travis did not kill himself, but he tells her not to tell anybody that she saw him. That evening, Amy films a scene where the students count down to the new year and scream. While Simon is outside to smoke a cigarette, the killer, wearing a fencing mask with a hooded dark-blue sweat suit, attacks him with his own camera and beats him to death with it. Amy, having heard the last part of the killer, goes outside where Simon got attacked, but the killer and Simon's body are gone. Amy notices a security camera and she goes to Reese to ask to borrow the tapes of the last hour or so of what the cameras recorded. Amy watches the tape in the studio and sees Simon killed by the hooded fencing mask killer. But the killer appears and breaks into the studio. She locks the door to the booth, but the killer breaks through. Amy is chased by the killer through the building and to the dock where she dives into a sewer piper. While running through the sewer tunnel, Amy finds Reese and the two of them go back to the recording studio, but the tapes are gone. Reese is skeptic to Amy's claims about being attacked and also says that she cannot do anything without evidence. The next morning, Amy secretly meets with Trevor again where she tells him that she thinks that Sandra and Simon are dead, but Trevor tells her that he cannot go to the police for he has a bad relationship with the local authorities for they will not believe him either. Amy thinks that the killer might be one of the students up for the Hitchcock Award. That evening, Amy and colleague Vanessa Valdeon (Eva Mendes), the boom operation on the film (whom clearly has a crush on the straight Amy), head to the ride Merry Minders, the location of the Tunnel of Terror carnival ride scene (where the urban legend has real dead bodies in a carnival fun ride). Stan and Dick arrive there to set up dead bodies, and Amy asks Graham why be brought along the odd PA Kevin (Derek Aasland). Graham is upset that Amy is pulling a power trip in front of everyone, and he leaves. Amy sees Trevor watching them from the trees, nods to him, and tells everyone that they can leave the set to get something to eat. When Stan goes off into the tunnel to fix more lights, the killer hits him on the head and electrocutes him with a sliced cable. Next, the killer attacks Dirk and pushes him against a control box, electrocuting him too. The ride's railcar stops with Amy inside and she walks out the rest of the way. Amy finds Dirk dead and is chased by the killer to the entrance where Reese is waiting. She ventures into the tunnel, but the killer has fled. The police arrive and carry away the dead Stan and Dirk while they take Amy away for questioning. The next day, Trevor meets with Amy in her room where he tells her that he followed Graham but lost him the previous night and cannot rule him out being the killer. They lie down together on Amy's bed where Amy falls asleep and has an intimate dream of her with Trevor when he suddenly stabs her. Amy wakes up in her bed alone. Amy sees a light on in the tower and finds Vanessa who says that she got Amy's note to meet with her there. Amy replies that she didn't send her any note when a dummy falls onto a table and the two girls run up to the tower followed by the killer. They hide in a room when the door is opened and the killer grabs Vanessa, but leaves Amy locked in the room. Amy breaks down the door and finds a dead Vanessa hanging from the tower bell. Amy runs outside where Reese sees her and begins to follow her. Amy finds Trevor who takes her to the library. He tells her that in his own investigation, all the dead people worked on the short film The Gods of Men, his brother's film. They watch the bad film when at the end of it, Amy notices a splice and says that it is not Travis' film. Amy and Trevor waylay Toby Melcher as he is driving to the campus by flaging him down and threaten him with a gun as another urban legend (a guy picking up a dead hitchhiker). They take him to the studio set and handcuff him to a chair and accuse him of being the killer for he is the only surviving crew member who worked on Travis' film. Just then, Professor Solomon arrives where Trevor, acting as Travis, says that Toby stole his film. Toby reminds 'Travis' that Travis only did the sound and merely gave the credit to Toby who has never seen the film. Suddenly, Solomon pulls out a gun and shoots Toby. Trevor goes for the gun and Amy runs. Solomon knocks Trevor aside and holds him at gunpoint. The professor tells Amy that many years ago, her father was one of the judges who cast the deciding vote against him for the Hitchcock Award in film school. Solomon explains what when Amy came into his office on that day with her idea about making a horror movie about an urban legend serial killer, he decided to kill all those who worked on Travis' film and frame her for the killings so he could steal Travis' film and submit it as his own. Graham comes out of hiding and swings a chair at Solomon who ducks and the four of them battle over the gun until Reese arrives and points her gun at all of them unsure who is the killer. Feigning innocence, Solomon reminds Reese that Amy is the killer because he saw her running from the tower a few hours ago when Vanessa was killed. Reese points her gun at the professor saying that she never told anyone that she even saw Amy running from the tower and the only way that Solomon knows is if he was there. Solomon punches Reese and she punches him back. During the struggle, the prop guns get mixed up with the real guns. Amy, Trevor, and Solomon each have a gun. Trevor and Solomon get a click, but nothing happens. Amy, with a gold-trimmed gun that Reese had shown her earlier, tries to pass the gun to Reese. Solomon jumps on her and gets shot in the back. Reese then places him under arrest as Amy and Trevor embrace. Graham also finds Toby whom is still alive as well. Some months later, Trevor is accepting the Alfred Hitchcock Award on behalf of his late brother's film when the creepy PA Kevin, perched high atop a walkway, attempts to shoot Trevor as he is accepting the award and gets shot by Reese. Kevin falls off the scaffolding.... into a large air bag below and Amy yells "Cut!" It is the last scene of Amy's very first independent funded movie titled Urban Legends with her directing, Trevor in the lead role, Toby as the assistant director, and most of the crew in acting parts, while Graham talks on his cell phone nearby as Amy's manager to discuss her film's upcoming completion and future premier. In the final scene set another few months later, a TV set showing Amy's complete film is turned off by a nurse while a dazed and near-cationic Solomon, now confined to a wheelchair from his gunshot wound, is now residing in a insane asylum having watched Amy's completed movie. Solomon is wheeled away back to his room by a familiar looking nurse whom is.... Brenda Bates (Rebecca Gayheart). The wild-eyed killer from the first Urban Legend movie and the inspiration for this whole new film.

In 1932, two strangers are wrongfully convicted and develop a strong friendship in prison that lasts them through the 20th century. In the mid-1990s, two inmates bury the burned bodies of two lifers at Mississippi's infamous Parchman Farm as a third old-timer relates their story. They'd served 65 years for a murder they didn't commit, framed by a local sheriff while buying moonshine whiskey for a Manhattan club owner to whom they owed money. Flashbacks depict how this odd couple was thrown together (Ray is a fast-talking con man, and Claude is a serious man about to start work as a bank teller), the loss of Ray's watch (sterling silver, from his daddy), the murder and trial, the hardships of Parchman, and the love/hate relationship of Claude and Ray as they spend 65 years bickering and looking for a way to escape. —<jhailey@hotmail.com>
