Arindam Dey

Goenda Gogol is a Bengali children`s movie. The film is written by Arindam Dey and produced by Supratik Ghosh and is an adaptation of Samaresh Basu`s ``Sonali Parer Rahashya``. The film has been shot in Kolkata, Tajpur, Udaigiri and Khandagiri. The central character of movie is being played child artiste,Ahijit Ghosh. The film also stars Indranil Sengupta who is playing a negative role.

The film unfolds as a black comedy after the death of a man in a bus accident. Corrupt cops try to hush up the case, making the bereaved father (Biswajit) accept that his son was killed when a tree fell on him. Biswajit tries to cope with the grief and injustice in silence, but his daughter-in-law (Paoli) decides to protest. This opens a new chapter, as two political aspirants (Sabyasachi and Paran) try to manipulate the tragedy for political mileage. Meanwhile, the bus conductor (Rahul) who is madly in love with the bus now falls for Paoli.
