A middle-class family who have to make ends meet to even plan a trip to Shimla, suddenly decide to go on a holiday to Switzerland! In only a year, they must save enough money for the grand trip, and doing so might just change their lives forever.

On a wintery morning in Kolkata, five people who leave office at midnight, take a cab to return home. During the course of the journey, they narrate stories of supernatural events, stories of spooky events they experienced, and stories that go beyond the mundane corporate life. As their journey nears the end, they realize that they have just had a journey of a lifetime.

Niharika Chatterjee is the wife of public prosecutor Arindam Chatterjee. Arindam is a dominating husband who is a male chauvinist. He dominates over Niharika. Thus, Niharika is unhappy with her marriage life. They both have a sweet little child who is deaf and dumb. Niharika organises a party for girls who are physically challenged like her own daughter. There, she meets new Inspector General of correctional cells of West Bengal, Mr. Brij Narayan Dutta. The latter informs Niharika his plans and ideas of reforming convicts of the correctional cells. Being aware of Niharika`s talent and skills, he requests Niharika to help him organise an event with the prisoners. Niharika agrees to the proposal with a condition that her husband needs to be kept in the dark.

A film that revolves around a grim reality of the city Kolkata by depicting diverse emotions of the folk and their heterogeneity unifying them for the sake of humanity. Manmatha belongs to a middle class family who meets Jagdish, a lower middle class individual and gets perplexed by his composed attitude for his son who is a soccer goalkeeper suffering from stomach injury. A fierce clash of the street gang prompts Manmatha and Jagdish to get into Manamatha`s car where they see the camouflaged reality of the world.
