A young guy named Raja moves to the UK to make it big. There he meets Srijata who eloped with her long-time boyfriend. As time passes by, her boyfriend cheats and leaves her stranded. The chain of events goes unpredictably when Srijata requests Raja to come along with her to Kolkata and help her clear the mess that occurred due to her elopement. How does Raja tackle the whole situation is what the movie is all about.

Film director Javed Hasan has a midlife crisis, which makes him question his marriage and his career. He starts an affair with Nitu, his daughter Saberi's childhood friend. Hasan's family is torn apart when his tryst with Nitu becomes public knowledge. He divorces his wife to marry Nitu and is alienated from his kids, only to realize that it won't be a bed of roses as he expected. Meanwhile, Saberi is helping her mother to explore her new found independence, cope with circumstances and find strength in desperation.

Sulaiman, a young man, falls for Puja and acts as Krishna Bhattacharya to impress her father and unite both families.

The story of revolves around sub-inspector Dibakar Singh, who settles every dispute in his town with wisdom and logic. He is compelled to use force when an extortionist with mafia links - Arjun Sarkar confronts him.

Dujone has the college-going Meghna (Srabanti) and Akash (Dev) falling for each other. But with Meghna`s dad being in the fish business as opposed to Dev`s industrialist dad, objections are an obvious progression. Things get murkier and gory what with Akash`s dad keeping him caged in Siliguri and Meghna`s against-romance pishi (Seema) keeping a hawk`s eye on her every move. And just when you thought you`ve seen the best of Dev`s muscle flexing and Srabanti`s desperation to meet Akash, in comes a contract killer (Arijit) employed by Akash`s dad to finish off Meghna. As all action stories should end, Dujone too reaches a fitting finale with Meghna-Akash`s love triumphing over all odds.

The movie is about a stereotypical family where a father (Sabyasachi Chakraborthy) decides everything for his son (Hiran), including what he should eat or even wear. The smothered son wants to break free but cannot because of his love for his dad and apparent helplessness. But when his father wants him to marry someone he doesn`t like, he wakes up and decides to marry the one he loves.
