Ashok Selvan

An old depressed man, working at dairy farm deals with his isolation and suffers for his survival. Life is Suffering. Death is Salvation is a poignant reflection on the sublime sufferings and miserable struggle for survival of the elderly, projected through the intense isolation of an old man working at a dairy farm, whose life takes a tragic turn with the sudden demise of his son who was working at a metro construction site.

Ashok and Ritika are friends who decide to marry each other, but married life is not what they expected. As they get stuck trying to spice up their romantic lives, Meera - Ashok`s former crush - turns up and complicates things further.

`Soodhu Kawum` features Vijay Sethupathi and Sanchita Shetty in leading roles. The film`s ensemble cast also consists of Karunakaran, Ramesh Boby Kottarakkara and Ashok Selvan. Debutant Nalan Kumarasamy has directed this action-thriller and CV Kumar has produced it. The film`s music director is Santhosh Narayan
