Emma Franklin (Natalie Portman) is a doctor who`s not really looking for love and is not ready for a relationship and just wants to get laid. She decided to have sex with her friend, Adam Kurtzman (Ashton Kutcher). Things get complicated when a plain sexual relationship is mixed up with emotions. Adam falls for Emma and the problem arises when the feeling is not mutual. Will Emma fall in love with Adam? Is it just about sex for Emma?

An all-star ensemble cast comes together in Valentine`s Day, which follows the intertwining storylines of a diverse group of Los Angelenos as they navigate their way through romance.

In the year 1998, Evan Treborn (Ashton Kutcher), who suffered severe sexual abuse (sexual abuse by the father of his girl friend Kayleigh from school) and traumas (death of his mentally ill father, in front of his eyes) as a boy (played by Logan Lerman) and a teenager (played by John Patrick Amedori), blacks out frequently, often at moments of high stress. His mother has him examined by a doctor, but all the tests fail to spot the issue. The doctor suggests that Evan keep a journal to help him with the blackouts. Evan has the habit of backing out just before the most unpleasant events in his life, including the time when his girlfriend Kayleigh, her brother Tommy & their friend Matt stole an explosive from Kayleigh's father stash & tried to explode as a prank in a neighbors mailbox, which somehow led to a serious injury to Matt. Evan's mom tries hypnosis, but Evan simply gets nosebleeds when forced to remember the blackout portions of his life. Later Tommy finds Kayleigh kissing Evan & takes it out on Evan by burning Evan's dog alive. Evan is blocked out on that event as well (right after the point when he tries to intervene to try & save his dog). Tommy beats up Evan badly & prompts Evan's mom to change towns. While entertaining a girl in his dorm room, he finds that when he reads from his adolescent journals, he travels back in time, and he is able to "redo" parts of his past, thereby causing the blackouts he experienced as a child. He also remembers that during the mailbox incident, the resident of the house (a mom with her baby) approached the mailbox while the explosive was still on trigger, & she opened the mailbox just as it exploded, killing them both. Matt tried to save them & was seriously injured. There are consequences to his choices, however, that then propagate back to his present life: his alternate futures vary from college student, to prisoner, to amputee. His efforts are driven by the desire to undo the most unpleasant events of his childhood which coincide with his mysterious blackouts, including saving his childhood sweetheart Kayleigh (Amy Smart) from being molested by her father (Eric Stoltz) and tormented by her sadistic brother Tommy (William Lee Scott). His first attempt to alter reality is when he goes back to the time when Kayleigh's father sexually abused him & her by making a soft porn movie of them. He "abuses" Kayleigh's father & gets him to realize the error of his ways. He wakes up in an alternate reality, where he is married to Kayleigh & instantly gets a huge headache where all the "new" memories of his alternate past come back to him. In this reality, Kayleigh was spared by her dad, but the dad took all of his sexual frustrations out on Tommy. Now Tommy is out of Juvi & is hunting to scare Evan away from Kayleigh. When Tommy attacks, Evan retaliates & ends up killing Tommy & goes to jail. In jail he is attacked by Tommy's Juvi buddies, & this time Evan uses the journal to travel back to the time when Tommy burnt Evan's dog alive. He convinces Matt to pick a piece of metal to cut open the ropes of the sack in which his dog is trapped. Evan talks Tommy into sparing his dog by saying that he would go to Juvi & he wouldn't want to leave Kayleigh alone with his dad. Tommy relents & releases the dog, when Matt kills Tommy with the metal shard. Kayleigh gets a gash on her face from the same metal, when she tries to save Tommy. Evan wakes in an alternate reality in his dorm room again. In this reality, Tommy is dead & Matt is institutionalized. Evan meets Matt in the hospital & Matt blames Evan for putting the metal shard in his hands, saying that EVan knew fully well that Matt would kill Tommy. Kayleigh is ugly due to a huge gash on her face & turns out to be a prostitute. Now Evan goes back to the time of the dynamite exploding & tries to warn off the woman and the baby approaching their mailbox. He gets close to the mailbox & ends up saving their life, but when he wakes up he has lost his arms & Kayleigh is having sex with Matt. Evan is distraught that in this reality he has even lost Kayleigh. He asks Kayleigh how she feels about him & she tells Evan that she hated her dad, but didn't opt to go with her mom (after their divorce) because she wanted to be with Evan. Thats when Evan realized that the only way to "fix" everything was to push Kayleih away in the first place. The actions he takes, and those he enables others to take during his blackouts, change the time-line in the new future where he awakes. As he continues to do this he realizes that even though his intentions are good his actions have unforeseen consequences. Moreover, the assimilation of dozens of years' worth of new memories from the alternate time-lines causes him brain damage and severe nosebleeds. Ultimately, he decides that his attempts to alter the past end up only harming those he cares about. But Evan realizes that the main cause of everyone's suffering in all the different time-lines is himself. At the conclusion of the film, Evan purposely travels back in time one final time to the first day he met Kayleigh. By scaring her away, he makes sure that she is never a part of his life, and thus finally succeeds in saving her life. He then destroys all of his journals and memories so that he is not ever tempted again to make any more changes. The film ends eight years in the future with Evan leaving an office building in Manhattan and passing Kayleigh on a crowded sidewalk. They alternately pause and turn after spotting and passing each other. After a moment of hesitation, Evan lets her walk away without speaking to her.

Tom Stansfield (Ashton Kutcher) is a researcher at a publishing company who works under the tyrannical Jack Taylor (Terence Stamp). Tom wants to be in creative, but Jack doesn't know anything about Tom's skills. Paul (Jon Abrahams) is Tom's only friend at work. Tom has a reputation for being calm and composed all the time. Nobody has ever seen him angry. Jack calls Tom for a meeting and ends up firing his secretary Audrey, when Tom makes a comment about the coffee. Jack calls Audrey into his office, calls her retarded and fires her after Tom says something about a company being only as strong as its weakest link. Now Tom was only making polite conversations, but Jack makes it look to Audrey that Tom is responsible for her termination of employment. Tom has a crush on his boss' daughter, Lisa Taylor (Tara Reid), who is completely controlled by her overprotective father. She reveals to Tom that her father is making her house-sit for his bird on the same night as a party she wants to attend, but Tom convinces her to stand up to her father and attend the party anyway. Jack is going out of town for a few days on business. Lisa asks him to come to their house that night, leading Tom to think that she has invited him to the party; in reality, she just wants him to fill in for her - he reluctantly agrees. By the time Tom arrives, Lisa has already left, and he meets Jack. Jack gives Tom instructions on how to take care of his pet Owl OJ. It has to be given water, its medications (one of which is inserted into its rectum). Tom has to wear protective covers over his shoes all the time. A comedy of errors ensues, including the return of Lisa's older brother, Red (Andy Richter), on the run from drug dealers. He enters the house on the pretext of looking for an extra copy of the TV guide. Red dumps drugs into the toilet, and instead returns a bag of flour to the drug dealer via Tom. One of Tom's tasks is to guard their owl, O-J, which lives in an open cage (it has not been able to fly due to a deep depression, from the loss of a prior mate). When the bird drinks from the toilet polluted with drugs, it flies away. Tom goes looking for the owl and runs into Old man neighbor (Patrick Crenshaw) who believes that Tom is on his property to ogle at his young wife Sheryl (Angela Little). Tom disarms the old man, who offers to give Tom the piece of Evander Holyfield's ear that Mike Tyson bit off during the boxing match. Jack Taylor's ex-secretary Audrey (Molly Shannon) goes to the house to try to earn her job back. After fighting with her boyfriend Spike (Tyler Labine) who was in the car waiting for her, she stays over at the house. Meanwhile, nobody is wearing shoe covers in the house. Audrey opens a beer using the kitchen counter as leverage and ends up damaging it. Audrey invites her friends to look for the owl including Tina (Carmen Electra) and Speed (David Koechner). Audrey's friends proceed to rob the house of all the silverware. Lisa returns home after finding out that her boyfriend Hans (Kenan Thompson) is cheating on her. Tom hides from her everything that happened, and she spends some time with him thinking he is homosexual. Lisa had earlier seen a gay magazine in Tom's briefcase, but she didn't know that it was not Tom's briefcase. He found it on the subway. He clarifies to her that he's a heterosexual and she starts to like him. Lisa tells Tom that there is a restraining order against Red and he is not allowed within 100 yards of the house. Hans comes by and wants to apologize to Lisa. Hans admits to having cheated on Lisa. Tom tells Hans to move on from Lisa. Tom finds OJ flying outside the house and follows it to a nearby house. Tom is let in by Ken (Jeffrey Tambor), who was waiting for a guy named Albert, who is supposed to be a blind date for his daughter Julie. Julie has recently been in an accident, and very conscious about her looks. When Julie comes down, she is looking hideous, and Tom clarifies that he is not Albert. Of course, Ken believes that Albert is acting that way as Julie is not pretty enough for him and throws him out of the house. Audrey's friend Tina thinks she has breast cancer and asks Tom to feel her breasts. Lisa walks in on them and is disgusted by the situation. T.J. (Michael Madsen), the drug dealer, finds out about the fake drugs and threatens to kill Tom if he doesn't return him his money $20,000. T.J. tries to open a safe and steal the money. However, Tom gives him sleeping pills mixed with alcohol which sends him into a coma. Julie comes by the house and tells Tom that he was telling the truth since Albert came by her place a little later. Julie was bleeding from the back of her, and proceeds to smear everything with blood, wherever she rested her head. Red is attracted to Julie. Because they think T.J. is dead, Audrey and her friends bury him. Later, T.J. escapes from the grave and threatens to kill Lisa. With Red's help, Tom rescues Lisa and she falls in love with him. He then goes to get her father, but on the way back the owl gets into the car making Tom lose control of the car and crash into the house. They find police officers in the house looking for T.J., who ends up getting arrested. Tom believed that it was Jack dealing drugs out of his house and reports him to the police. But then Red says that he is the one who was dealing in drugs, and that his full name if Jack Taylor Jr. TJ was at the house looking for Red, and Red simply used Tom to avoid TJ. Jack Taylor is enraged by the damages done to the house and throws Tom out. Jack orders that Lisa will accompany him to Thailand. The next day, Jack Taylor hears his son Red explaining to Lisa how she should stand up to their father and goes back to Tom. Jack realizes his mistakes and gives Tom a promotion to handle the creative department at the office. Hans goes with Jack to Thailand. Hans turned around the company's factory in Thailand. Audrey found a job at a coffee shop. Lisa restructured the entire company from top to bottom. OJ now drinks only beer.

A ragtag group of youngsters band together after the American Civil War to form the Texas Rangers, a group charged with the dangerous, ruthless duty of cleaning up the West. Set after the American Civil War in the 1870s, 'Texas Rangers' is a story about a group of men determined to maintain peace and contain the chaos that is erupting on the Texan frontier. Native Americans are attempting to reclaim their land, Mexicans are pouring over the U.S. border, and renegade outlaws are tearing up the state, so the Texas Rangers swear to protect the innocent and their loved. To do so, they must be willing to maintain the peace where law enforcement cannot, fight while they are out-manned and out-armed by the opponent, and be willing to die for the freedom for which they fight.

While attending college in New York City, sophomore Al / Alfred Connelly (Freddie Prinze Jr.) and freshman Imogen (Julia Stiles) begin dating. Al's roommate Monk (Zak Orth), who has become a pornographic film actor and director, tells him that love is illusory and fleeting. Monk gets paid $2500 per movie and is doing well for himself. Eddie (Shawn Hatosy) is Al's other roommate. Eddie wants to be part of the business, but Monk challenges Eddie to get a girl in bed by that night in their room, and he would be watching from Al's bunk. If Eddie succeeds, Monk agrees to get him an audition. Eddie and Monk go their separate ways, leaving Al looking for someone to spend some time with. Al and Imogen meet at the bar. Imogen was by the Juke Box picking songs when Al stops by and introduces himself. He says that he like female singers as his own mother was a DJ all her life and he has her influence in him. Lana (Rosario Dawson) is Imogen's friend. The girl that Eddie leaves the bar with is Lana. The night between Eddie and Lana goes weird as Al later finds out that Lana shoved her finger up Eddie's behind, throwing him off his game, and leading him to believe that he might be gay. Al and Imogen end up dancing together, though Imogen is approached by a fellow student Jim, who also offers her a drink. At the end of the night Imogen hugs Al, even though she wanted not to be in a relationship during her freshman year. Imogen says that she was in relationships all through high school and was looking forward to having a good time without being tied down. Al is intoxicated by the smell of her hair. Monk's co-star Cyrus (Selma Blair) shows up at the bar after Monk and Eddie had left and she flirts with Al. Cyrus is an MIT dropout and is now taking a break to explore herself and is looking to share herself. Monk is the closest person Al has for advice on the topics related to love. Soon, Al is visiting Imogen at her campus. Imogen hugs Al again and throws out all her rules about not dating anyone in her freshman year. Al finds that Imogen is majoring in art and has painted portraits of herself on album covers and so on. They do a fake therapy session to discover their likes and dislikes and also learn about each other's dating histories. Al takes Imogen to meet his parents Ray and Judy (Lucie Arnaz). They love spending time with each other. After three months they have fallen in love, and it is a first love for both of them. Imogen, an aspiring artist, arranges a private showing at an art gallery for Al's birthday, after which the two have sex for the first time. This was the honeymoon period of their relationship. Al loses a bet and must perform as an extra in one of Monk's films. This causes an argument between him and Imogen, who wants to spend time with him before she goes to France (in 2 weeks) for the summer. He abandons the film in favor of spending the night with her. Things are perfect and Al believes that they will remain this way. While in France, Imogen is asked by her cousin if she and Al will marry. This unnerves her as she is only nineteen, and she acts differently toward Al on her return. Al's father Chef Ray (Henry Winkler), who hosts a cooking show, wants to do a father-and-son show after Al graduates. His vision is of a reality TV show where Al and Ray travel all over the country in their large truck, and offer to cook dinner for families they pick on the fly with ingredients at the back of their truck. While they cook the food, they also teach their audience on how to cook various cuisines of food. Every week a new cuisine and a new home. But Al would rather pursue his dream of becoming a chef of French cuisine. Concerned that he and Imogen are drifting apart, Al arranges a picnic in the countryside. On the way back, she drives drunk and crashes into a tree. Seeing the accident as a sign, they try to improve their relationship. Though they seem happy, Monk predicts it is a precursor to a breakup. When Imogen declines to have sex one night, Al feels emasculated and has a sexual fantasy about Cyrus. Imogen fears that she may be pregnant, and though she turns out not to be, these further strains their relationship. At one of Monk's parties, Cyrus tries to seduce Al, but he declines. Meanwhile, Imogen spends time with musician acquaintance Jim (Ashton Kutcher). When Al learns she has agreed to design Jim's album cover, they argue and she leaves upset. The next day, she confesses she had sex with Jim afterward. After a tearful breakup, she moves to San Francisco to finish school. Al graduates but becomes depressed. Monk is too preoccupied with his new work as an author and lecturer to comfort him, and their friendship dissolves. After a period of isolation, Al starts dating again and has a casual relationship with Cyrus, but she eventually moves away. He enrolls in the French Culinary Institute but feels unmotivated and drops out and is reduced to bar-hopping with his single friend Eddie (Shawn Hatosy). Drunk and missing Imogen, he tries to purge himself of his feelings for her by drinking a bottle of her shampoo, resulting in his hospitalization. Al's parents throw a party with his friends to lift his spirits. Monk apologizes to Al, and they mend their friendship. Imogen appears, and they spend time catching up. She has become a cover artist for a San Francisco-based book publisher. She confesses that she misses him and gives him a book titled Down to You with her cover artwork depicting the two of them in love. They rekindle their romance, deciding that they met too young but can start over. Al takes a job at a four-star restaurant in San Francisco and surprises Imogen with a romantic evening.
