A tough and rowdy look-alike takes the place of a rich young man, who has family problems and enemies. Police Officer Bheem Thapa comes across a local thug of Mumbai called Raja and asks him to pose as London based Nirmal whose his lookalike and having a huge property in Palanpur.Nisha learns about Thapa's offer and warns Raja ,while Nirmal has returned for vacation in Palanpur and comes across Sandhya whose working in his tea estate.Nirmal and Sandhya fall in love and find that Nirmal's father was actually killed which was termed as car accident.Nirmal tires to unfold the mystery but before that the masterminds of the plan his stepmother and her lover Diwan also eliminate Nirmal.Raja turns to Palanpur and starts living in Nirmal's identity. —alex.mjacko@gmail.com Nirmal (Sanjay Kapoor) studies in London, and his dad (Anant Mahadevan) lives in a palatial home in India with his mom (Navneet Nishan). Unknown to both Nirmal and his dad, mom is having an affair with an employee, Baldev Diwan (Dalip Tahil). When caught in the act by dad, they kill him and his driver, Satpal (Mushtaq Khan) and arrange an accident with the help of another employee Manikchand (Tinnu Anand). When Nirmal returns he is informed of the accident, and he believes his dad dies of a car accident. One day while romancing with his girlfriend Sandhya (Mamta Kulkarni), he comes across Satpal, who is now confined in a mental institution. Curious to see what Satpal has to say about the accident, Nirmal arranges for more qualified doctors in the big city to examine Satpal. Unknown to Nirmal, Superintendent of Police Thappa (Raj Babbar) is plotting with Raja (also played by Sanjay Kapoor) to kill Nirmal and take his place, Raja's girlfriend, Nisha (Manisha Koirala) overhears this and questions Raja, but Raja lies to her. Things start to change for the worst for Nirmal's dad and Diwanji when Raja is introduced to the family, and with the help of Thappa establishes his identity and fools everyone. Dharamraj dislikes women and has told his younger brothers to stay away from them. Shatranj, the hindi film released in 1993 isstory of three brothers Dharamraj (Kader Khan), Dinky Mithun Chakraborty) and Dino (Jackie Shroff). Dharamraj runs a garage with his two younger brothers and has remained a bachelor all his life as he hates women. He also forbids his brothers from falling in love and getting married. Tension between the brothers arises when Dinky and Dino meet and fall in love with Radha (Juhi Chawla) and Renu (Divya Bharti). After Dharamraj stops them from marrying Renu and Radha, the brothers leave home. They soon discover the real reason Dharamraj hates women. They are actually the real heirs of a wealthy business empire that was run by their father (Vikas Anand) before his death. Their father had remarried after their mother's death and their stepmother (Usha Nadkarni) ill treated them. They also have a stepbrother Robin (Shakti Kapoor). This was the reason why Dharamraj left home and took his two brothers with him. He vowed to never marry as he feared his wife would also ill treat his brothers. Dino and Dinky return home to their brother and he slowly starts to approve of Renu and Radha. Meanwhile their stepmother has left her business in the hands of the corrupt Prajpati (Kiran Kumar) who is also the actual killer of their father. The brothers soon unite with Robin to save their stepmother when Prajpanti plans to steal their wealth and frame them for his crimes. Dharamraj Verma and his two younger brothers, Dinki and Dino, run a garage with the help of a trained monkey and a "Herbie-type" car named dhug dhug. Since Dharamraj dislikes woman, he has not married and will not also permit his brothers to woo any woman, leave alone marry them. But when Dino & Dinki fall in love with Air India Hostesses Renu and Radha respectively, things come to a boil between the brothers and as a result they decide to split. Dinki and Dino board dhug dhug, who takes them to a bungalow. Puzzled they come out of the car and wonder why dhug dhug would stop here of all places. Then a servant named Ramu, who they have seen with Dharamraj on several occasions, tells them why dhug dhug stopped outside this bungalow. It is here all mysteries will be clarified for these two brothers, and it is here they will learn why Dharamraj distrusts women, and why he refuses to marry or permit them to marry any woman.
