Veeram narrates the story of Vinayagam (Ajith), who single-handedly raised his four brothers and would not hesitate to wield arms to protect them or even all the people close to him for that matter. But a situation forces him to lay down his arms and swear to never raise them again.

About the movie Vinayagam is a fierce and tough-as-nails village rowdy who lives for his four brothers. His violent world is turned upside down when he falls for Devi, an architecture student who inspires him to trade his weapons for a peaceful life. However, when a ruthless drug lord targets Devi's family, Vinayagam is forced to abandon his reform. To protect the ones he loves, he must unleash his true, violent self one last time to take down the underworld.

Rudran`s family abandons him as a child due to astrological reasons and he grows up to become an Aghori. Even after his family comes to look for him, he refuses to accept them.

Directed by Bala, the movie is the story of Rudra, a child who is left in the Kasi at the behest of an astrologer. When the father comes to reclaim him after 14 years he finds that things aren`t what they used to be. The child grows up to be a Sadhu called Kala Bhairav, and lives a life completely detached from everything. The movie has music by Ilayaraaja and features Pooja as a blind beggar.
