The film revolves around the underworld scene in Goa, showcasing how different gangs are fighting to become the sole leaders. As such, a young girl falls in love with a gangster, without realizing his real identity.

Karthik returns to India after completing his education in the United States. His mother wants him to get married to her brother's daughter Indu. A dispute had left both families separated. Karthik promises to fulfill his mother's wish. He joins Indu's college to convince her to marry him but mistakenly assumes Bhagyam as his uncle's daughter. Later, Karthik realises that Indu is his cousin but she is already in love with another guy. What happens next forms the crux of the story.
