Inspired by the Thai horror film, `Alone`, the film centers around two conjoint twin sisters. The film is essentially a revenge drama interwoven with a love story and other jolts. According to the film`s leading actress, Priyamani who essays a double role in the film, one twin is innocent while the other is a tomboy.

Balu and Swapna live in the same hostel and are attracted towards one another. They land in hot water when their photographs appear in a local newspaper. This makes them part ways and Balu promises to marry Swapna after he completes his studies.

Two friends, Sathya and Krupa aspire to become police inspectors. While Krupa is an honest and hard working boy and studies day in and day out to clear his exams, Sathya is clever and he buys his seat. But the events take a nasty turn when Krupa is misguided and influenced by the undeworld, turning him into a thief and ultimately to his tragic death.
