It`s been more than 10 years since our last appointment at Calvin`s Barbershop. Calvin (Ice Cube) and his long-time crew, including Eddie (Cedric the Entertainer), are still there, but the shop has undergone some major changes. Most noticeably, our once male-dominated sanctuary is now co-ed. The ladies bring their own flavor, drama and gossip to the shop challenging the fellas at every turn. Despite the good times and camaraderie within the shop, the surrounding community has taken a turn for the worse, forcing Calvin and our crew to come together to not only save the shop, but their neighbourhood.

A comedian tries to make it as a serious actor when his reality television star fiancée talks him into broadcasting their wedding on her television show. New York Times reporter Chelsea Brown is spending a day interviewing comedian and recovering alcoholic Andre Allen, star of the hit film franchise Hammy The Bear, about a cop in a bear suit. Chelsea has forgotten her audio recorder, so they first go to her apartment. While there they discuss a magazine article about the Cinderella complex. Chelsea explains that Cinderella left something behind to let the prince know that she wanted to see him again..

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo are still together! This time they end up on an African adventure where Alex is reunited with his parents.

Dr. R.J. Stevens is a talk-show host who visits his family in the Deep South. While there he reunites with his brother Otis, his sister Betty, his cousin/rival Clyde, and his childhood love interest Lucinda Allen.

With the birth of a new litter of 11 piglets, the farmer must eliminate one so the mother can feed them. The farmer gets his ax and selects the runt of the litter when he is stopped by his daughter, Fern (Dakota Fanning). Fern begins to feed her new piglet and names him Wilbur (voice of Dominic Scott Kay). After Wilbur gets strong enough to be on his own, he is put into the barn across the road. In the new barn, he meets many different animals: cows, sheep, geese, a rat, a horse, and of course a spider named Charlotte (voice of Julia Roberts). Wilbur's friendship with all the animals in the barn brings them all together, and they become one big happy family. There is only one problem that Wilbur doesn't know, he is a spring pig, and they don't usually get to see winter. Charlotte promises Wilbur that she will do something to save his life. Charlotte spins the words "some pig" in her web to show the farmer a miracle that may save Wilbur's life. Douglas Young (the-movie-guy)

When four pampered animals from New York`s Central Park Zoo accidentally end up shipwrecked on the exotic island of Madagascar, they discover it really IS a jungle out there!

New York City bus driver Ralph Kramden (Cedric the Entertainer) and his feisty wife Alice (Gabrielle Union) struggle to make ends meet. Despite Ralph's many get-rich-quick schemes (the Y2K survival kit, the pet cactus, the Velcro fanny pack, the Mets merchandise on discount), they've managed to save some money. Along with their best friends Ed (Mike Epps) and Trixie Norton (Regina Hall), they almost have enough money for a down payment on a duplex in Brooklyn. Alice & Trixie work as waitress at a local diner. Ed is a sewer department employee. The duplex belongs to Miss Benvenutti (Alice Drummond) who is an old woman and is moving out of New York as she can't handle the winters anymore. They have two weeks to come up with the rest of the money or it well be sold to a developer William Davies (Eric Stoltz). the couples have 10k in their accounts and need $20k to make the down-payment in 2 weeks. Alice decides to ask her mother (Carol Woods) for the rest of the money they need for the down payment. Ed is working the sewers one night and finds an abandoned shed with an exquisite, high class, preserved train car sitting right there. He tells Ralph that the city is going to auction the train car. Ralph has the brain wave to modify the train car and use it to give tours of New York city to tourists. Ralph and Ed decide to buy a train found below the streets of New York they end up spending most of the money ($ 3000) Ralph and Alice have saved. Ed shuts out another buyer from the auction, who was very interested in the train. Lenny (Lenny Venito) is a mechanic and tells the guys that the train car is in good shape, but it is sitting 60 feet below street levels. Once they find out how much money it is going to take to get the train out Ralph and Ed decide on a new plan to get the money back. but none of their schemes (begging, looking for coins, asking for donations dressed as the Brooklyn youth club, hip hop dancing in the streets) are big enough to earn cash that fast. Ralph and Ed had found a greyhound dog in the dumpster and decide to race the dog (after Ralph sees the dog run very fast in the park). The duo approaches the track owner Kirby (Jon Polito) who says that the weekend is the anniversary derby of the track with a prize purse of $20,000. Kirby agrees to give a time trial to Ralph and Ed's dog. He suggests that they approach Dodge (John Leguizamo), to train the dog. Dodge charges them $500 and only agrees to train the dog at night. Ralph makes a story to Alice about a job at a lodge to get out of the house at night and to go with Ed to train the dog with Dodge. Dodge has to train the dog to start running when the cages open. Despite mind tricks and all sorts the cajoling, the dog still won't budge from his starting position. Eventually the dog only chases the blue ball that Ed plays with him with on their outings to the park. Using the ball, Ralph and Ed make the dog qualify for the race in front of Kirby. Dodge gets them the paperwork for the dog for $600. Meanwhile Alice's mom gives her a check for $10K. she thinks that they already have $10K in their accounts, and that together is their deposit. But when she finds that her account is empty, she is mad at Ralph and decides to leave him. When William (who has private investigators trying to find out where the remaining $10K is coming from, as he knows that Ralph and Ed have nothing in their bank accounts) finds out they are going to make the money that way he pays off Kirby to not let the dog race. Ralph makes a speech about the down and out dumpster dog & so that gets the dog back into the race. Ed pulls out the dog's blue colored ball (with which he plays in the park) while he is in the race that could win the money and distracts the dog, and he loses. Ralph yells at Ed, which upsets Alice when she is already mad at him for spending all of their money. Ralph is by the train he had bought (burning all of his previous business invention prototypes) when he finds the card of the other man that wanted to buy the train. Ralph decides to sell the train (for $20 K) to get the money back for the duplex. Once he gets the money, he makes up with Ed and they get to the seller in time to buy the place (before it's sold to the developer). When they are all sitting down in the back yard eating, the dog brings the paper and on the front is the train Ralph sold that was in turn sold for one million dollars.

Chili Palmer (John Travolta) helps Edie Athens (Uma Thurman), the widow of an executed friend, Tommy Athens (James Woods), to resurrect a record company using the talents of young and talented female vocalist and songwriter, Linda Moon (Christina Milian). The plot is complicated by several facts: In a loan-shark subplot from Get Shorty of "who owns who", Chili makes deals and owns all the players as a "producer". The Russian Mafia (headed by Roman Bulkin (Alex Kubik)) are trying to kill Chili because he witnessed the execution of Athens. Athens' record company owes money to a gangster/producer, Sin LaSalle (Cedric the Entertainer). Chili Palmer is an accomplished filmmaker and hates sequels. His friend Tommy Athens is the owner of a record company. Tommy is meeting Chili for a lunch meeting at a cafe. Tommy is in the music business and pitches Chili to produce a film on his life in the music industry. Tommy had picked Linda Moon to play the out-of-town talent who wanted to make it big in the music industry and Tommy is the executive who makes it happen. The movie would be a musical. He tells Chili that Linda Moon hangs out at the Viper club and is expecting to meet Chili there. When Chili goes to the restroom, a Russian assassin drive up to the cafe (where they were having their meeting) and shoots Tommy. Chili comes out of the restroom and has a good look at the assassin who wears a toupee. Marla (Debi Mazar) is the detective assigned to investigate the case. She believes that Chili set up Tommy for the hit. Moon convinces Chili to take on her cause, getting out of contractual obligations to Nick Carr (Harvey Keitel) and Raji (Vince Vaughn). Linda says that Nick and Raji got her when she got off the bus from Texas and promised to make her a huge star. She believed them and signed a bad contract with them, which basically pays nothing. She has 5 more years left on the contract and wants out. Nick has a gay Samoan bodyguard named Elliott (The Rock), an aspiring actor and the butt of Carr and Raji's homophobic jokes. When Chili walks out of the club with Linda, Raji sends Elliot to kill Chili. However, Chili befriends Elliot and tells him that he can help him out with his acting career. Chili uses the opportunity to help his friend's widow, Edie Athens, manage the failing business, which owes $300,000 to the hip hop producer Sin LaSalle. Chili decides to enter the music industry on the talents of a female entertainer, Linda Moon. Chili was looking to get out of the music business and sees Linda as the perfect opportunity. Chili convinces Edie to produce Moon, hoping to resurrect Athens' failing record company through a live performance with Aerosmith and Steven Tyler. Moon being launched at the concert would also bring down the marketing costs on her debut album. Tommy's assistant Tiffany (Kimberly J. Brown) tells Chili that the Russian assassin with the toupee came by Tommy's office at least twice in the last few days, looking for Tommy. Carr and Raji take exception to Chili's intervention, and hire a hit-man, Joe "Loop" Lupino (Robert Pastorelli) to kill Chili. LaSalle threatens Chili and Edie for payment of the $300,000, but they convince him to give them a few days to get the money plus the Vig. LaSalle is the manager for the band Dub MDs, which was produced by Tommy's company. When the Russians attempt to kill Chili, Joe Loop mistakenly kills Ivan Argianiyev (George Fisher), the Russian Mob hit-man. Raji then kills Loop with a bat after Loop "disrespects" him by asking for another $5000 for another hit on Chili, and also calls Raji as Nick's "B***h". Raji is adamant that he will not give up Linda without a fight. After Chili talks Linda into leaving Carr and his girl group, Chili confronts Carr at his house to hand over Linda's contract. Chili says that Carr had her for 2 years and did nothing for her, and Chili already got her a label within 3 days of meeting her. Chili finds out that Roman was the assassin who killed Tommy. He also knows that Roman is being watch by Feds round the clock. Chili confronts Roman inside his shop and tells him to stay away from Edie. Chili says that he also knows that Roman sent Ivan to kill him. Chili then takes Edie to a basketball game with seats next to Steven Tyler. Back in the day, Edie was a groupie with Aerosmith and is afraid that Steven won't remember her. Steven fondly remembers that Edie used to put Lavender water in their clothes. Steven hears Linda's voice recording and agrees to launch her at his concert. Meanwhile, Elliot has been waiting for Chili to call him about the audition. He confronts Chili at home with the same baseball bat that Raji used to kill Loop. Chili calms Elliot down and asks him to make some changes to his monologue routine and prepare for auditions. Elliot is satisfied that Chili will deliver on his promise and leaves the bat at his place. Carr realizes that the Russians are after Chili, when he finds from Elliot that Chili was seen outside the pawnshop owned by the Russian mob boss Roman Bulkin. Carr makes a deal with Roman to kill Chili. Carr tries to trick Chili by handing him a pawn ticket, claiming that Linda's contract was at the pawn shop owned by the Russians. This is actually a set-up by Carr to get Chili killed. When Chili picks the ticket, he tells Nick that Raji killed Loop. Nick insults Raji. Raji call LaSalle and says that Chili is buying Linda's contract from Nick for $300,000. Knowing about this trick, Chili hands the ticket to Edie, who turns it over to the police. Now the cops, instead of Chili, pay the Russians a visit. Believing that Carr tricked him, Bulkin and his men pay a visit to Carr's office while Sin LaSalle and the Dub MDs are there. Insulted by Bulkin's racist remarks, LaSalle kills him. When Carr threatens Chili, Chili sends him to the hands of the police with a pawn ticket. Finally, when Raji and Elliot threaten Chili, Chili again befriends Elliot, who turns on Raji after learning that Chili gotten him an audition for a film and Raji erased the evidence of it on his answering machine. For all his smooth talking and flamboyant wardrobe, Raji finds himself in a firework conflagration which roasts him live on camera. Carr is arrested on murder charges when they find him with the bat used to kill Joe Loop. During all of this confusion, Chili squeezes in a dance with Edie (a nod to his "Twist Contest" scene, also with Thurman, in Pulp Fiction) and Moon gets her debut with Aerosmith. Finally, LaSalle becomes the producer for Moon's debut album video. At the MTV Video Music Awards, Linda wins the awards for best new artist and video of the year. During her acceptance speech, she thanks Edie, Sin and Chili. Edie and Chili leave the award ceremony. As Chili drives off, he passes a billboard revealing that Elliot is the co-star of a new movie with Kidman.

At the beginning of the film, two Texas Rangers, Roland Sharp (Tommy Lee Jones) and Maggie Swanson (Liz Vassey), are going to a church in order to question Percy Stevens (Cedric the Entertainer) about the whereabouts of his former prison roommate Morgan Ball, who they want to testify against organized crime boss John Cortlin. Percy is indignant, telling them he is a "man of God" and hasn't spoken with Ball in years. However, Percy's cellphone rings, displaying Ball's name. Sharp and Swanson track down Ball to the warehouse, where Ball gives Sharp a key in an attempt to buy him off. Instead, Sharp takes the key and forces Ball outside, where FBI agent Eddie Zaine (Brian Van Holt) is waiting. As they talk, a sniper begins shooting, wounding Swanson and giving Ball a chance to escape. It is revealed the sniper is after Ball, and a group of cheerleaders from the University of Texas at Austin witness his murder. Agent Zaine is found shot in the arm next to Ball's body and claims he didn't see the sniper. Anne (Christina Milian), Teresa (Paula Garces), Evie (Monica Keena), Heather (Vanessa Ferlito) and Barb (Kelli Garner) are taken to the police station, where they all have conflicting descriptions of the shooter. Sharp is given the task of protecting the girls at all times, because their fathers are worried about them. The information is relayed to him by the Governor of Texas (Rick Perry makes a cameo as himself). It is revealed that Sharp is divorced and has a daughter, Emma (Shannon Marie Woodward) who is in high school and doesn't feel as though her father had ever been around. It is also revealed that John Cortlin has been exonerated from all charges pressed on him due to a lack of evidence. It is also revealed that FBI Agent Zaine is working with Cortlin, having killed Ball and shot himself in the arm. Cortlin scolds Zaine for letting some "loose ends" escape, and Zaine begins searching for Sharp and the cheerleaders. With Swanson in the hospital recovering from her near-fatal wound, Sharp and two additional rangers must now pick the girls up from school and secure their sorority house. Sharp moves in with the girls and the two young men with him move into the fraternity house across the street, where they end up busting a drug deal. Sharp sets some ground rules, including no cell phones. He also tells them to "cover up in his presence" (referring to the girls' revealing clothes). When they fail to comply, he orders a massive industrial air conditioner, forcing them to dress warmly. Sharp is posing as a cheer-leading coach specializing in conditioning, and at a Longhorns football game he tackles an opposing team's mascot when the mascot approaches the girls with a gun, later revealed to be a water gun. Other humorous mishaps occur, but Sharp's relationship with the girls begins to strengthen; indeed, Barb begins to develop a crush on him. However, Sharp finds himself attracted to Barb's English teacher Molly (Anne Archer) who calls him into her office to complain about Barb's plagiarism. Later he invites her over for dinner, which the girls coach him through using an earpiece and tiny video screen. After they fall asleep, he turns it off and woos Molly himself. He admits to the girls about his last failed marriage and the way he feels about his estranged daughter. This interests Evie, who has a 4.0 GPA and wants to write a paper on Emma. She uses the house's "emergency phone" to call her, revealing Sharp's location to Zaine, who had contacted Emma. Sharp takes the girls to a "spirit rally" where he is forced to give a speech about cheer-leading. He becomes more and more impassioned, proving to the girls he finally "gets it". The night is ruined, however, when Sharp realizes in the nick of time that somebody put a bomb on their van, and Teresa (who was convinced that nobody was after them) is almost killed when her seat-belt gets stuck. Sharp saves her, and she admits that maybe someone is trying to kill them. Evie tells Sharp she contacted Emma, and when Sharp calls his daughter he learns that Zaine has her. He tells Sharp to take the key Ball gave him in the beginning of the movie to open a lock-box, both of them unaware the cheerleaders are listening in. The next day Sharp gets the money out of the lock-box and drives to where Zaine instructs him. Zaine gives Sharp instructions over a cell phone, telling him he will shoot Emma if Sharp disobeys. After Sharp handcuffs himself to the steering wheel, Zaine thanks him and tells him he's a "good parent." Zaine takes off with the money, Sharp's keys and phone, and Emma. Zaine and Emma get on a bus, but as it pulls away Sharp sees Barb in the back. As he wonders what is going on, Heather gets in the car with him and picks his handcuffs. They take off after the bus in Barb's Volkswagen Beetle. On the bus, Teresa pretends to go into labor and Evie demands the bus be stopped. She attempts to steal the bag with the money, but Zaine pulls a gun and evacuates the bus. Emma is rescued by the cheerleaders, and Sharp shoots Zaine's gun out of his hand before Zaine can enter Mexico. He and Emma are reunited. At the end of the film, Sharp and Molly are married, and Emma and the cheerleaders are a part of the service.

Since the events of the previous film, Calvin Palmer, Jr. (Ice Cube) has finally settled comfortably into his role as the owner of the inner-city barbershop founded by his grandfather and father. The shop's latest threat comes from overzealous developer Quentin Leroux (Harry Lennix) who opens a rival barbershop chain across the street, called "Nappy Cutz". Nappy Cutz hires many celebrities for their brand campaign & launch in style. Quentin threatens Calvin that his business will be finished in 7 months at the most and he promises to buy Calvin's shop when the bank forecloses. Nappy Cutz is known for superior customer experience like wine served when you walk through the door, an aquarium floor with live fish in it, female staff in bikinis, massages and so on. Calvin's wife counsels him not to overreact and that many of the "innovations" are probably just rumors or exaggerations. While Calvin attempts to figure out how to deal with the coming threat of direct competition from Quentin's flashy establishment, his barbers have issues of their own. Isaac (Troy Garity), the lone white barber, is now the star of the shop, and begins to feel that he deserves star treatment, feeling neglected by Calvin and the other barbers. Isaac puts a signature "I" on the haircuts of his customers and has his own genuine fan following. Terri (Eve) is finding success in managing her anger but has trouble dealing with the growing mutual attraction between her and Ricky (Michael Ealy). Jimmy (Sean Patrick Thomas) has quit the shop to work for the local alderman Lalowe Brown (Robert Wisdom); his replacement, Calvin's cousin Kenard (Kenan Thompson), is fresh out of barber school and horribly inept at cutting hair. Jimmy tries to petition the alderman to stop Nappy Cutz from opening & destroying the barbershop, but Brown decides to do nothing. Jimmy is disillusioned as Brown had earlier said that he wanted to keep the neighborhood fertile for small businesses. Calvin is also petitioned by all the other shop owners in the neighborhood to sell the barbershop to a Cineplex developer as the developer will pay twice as much if the barbershop is part of the package. Calvin still refuses. To increase customer loyalty to his barbershop Calvin organizes a barbecue at the back of his shop & introduces some rules like greeting customers with their name, no naked ladies' pictures & no loud talk within the shop. Calvin increases the booth rents for all the barbers in his shop to pay for the barbecue. This reveals that Eddie pays no booth rent to Calvin like the other barbers. One day, the gang gets curious and breaks into the Nappy Cutz shop at night, to find out more about their famed decor. The chairs are leather, and the equipment is top of the line. They even have a basketball court inside the shop. As Nappy Cutz gets closer to opening, Calvin decides to renovate the barbershop with new decor, equipment, TV & uniforms for staff. Brown comes by with a TV crew to promote the neighborhood and steps into Calvin's shop. Ricky picks this time to challenge Isaac as the best barber of the shop, and Isaac chooses this time to expose Ricky's romantic tryst with Terri. Dinka (Leonard Earl Howze) is still interested in Terri but is distraught when he finds out that she loves Ricky instead. Isaac leaves the shop and joins Nappy Cutz. The shop gets more negative publicity when Kenard messes up Brown's haircut live on TV. Meanwhile, the barbershop and other businesses like it are under threat from gentrification and Calvin is offered a substantial bribe from Brown and Leroux in exchange for his support of the city council's pro-gentrification legislation. This legislation includes Calvin's vote for the Cineplex development in exchange for a bribe of $ 200,000. Additionally, Calvin will get to keep his shop and Leroux will kill his Nappy Cutz project. This development project will push up prices of everything for the entire community & that's why the developers are super interested in making it happen at any cost. Some shop owners want to sell out & support this plan. But many others will be forced out when the re-development pushes up rental costs & drive their establishments out of business. A subplot involves Eddie recalling his time as a young man in the late 1960s, when he first started working at the shop with Calvin's father, including the riots following the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Eddie had saved the shop from rioters when he refused to leave in face of arsonists. Eddie first came into the shop running from the police, after robbing a grocery store of some fruits, meats, and bread. Calvin's father refused to give up Eddie to the police and protected him. Also, Eddie remembers his long-lost love Loretta (Garcelle Beauvais) when he suddenly sees her one day at a subway station. This subplot causes Eddie and Calvin to begin bonding. Calvin's ex-girlfriend Gina (Queen Latifah) works at the beauty shop next door. The shop is also owned by Calvin, and he visits there to collect the rent. The girls at the beauty shop have similar conversations and experiences like the barbers and Gina has a bitter rivalry with Eddie (Cedric the Entertainer). Gina gets into frequent shouting matches with Eddie whenever she believes that Eddie is out of line with his misogynist comments. After attempting to change his own barbershop's style and decor to match those of his rival, Calvin decides to refuse the bribe money and speak out against the neighborhood's gentrification at the local city council meeting. Though Calvin gives a passionate speech about the legislation helping the region to earn money at the cost of its soul and the community, the council still unanimously votes to approve the legislation and move forward with the project. Terri and Ricky accept their love for one another. Turns out Ricky was frequently late to the shop and lazy as he was studying for the GEDs, which he passed. Dinka loses Terri but finds love in a stylist at Gina's beauty shop. Isaac returns to Calvin. Though the pro-gentrification project is approved, the community remains loyal to Calvin's barbershop.

Intolerable Cruelty is an all-out battle of the sexes between a fabulously successful divorce attorney and a marriage-for-money gold digger who is seeking revenge.

On a cold winter Saturday in Chicago in year 2002, Calvin Palmer, Jr. (Ice Cube) decides he has had enough of trying to keep open the barbershop his father handed down to him after running it for 40 years. Calvin has been running the shop for 2 years. He cannot borrow enough money from Bank Manager (Lorenzo Clemons) to keep the place open (the bank will foreclose on the shop if he doesn't pay the property taxes), it is not bringing in enough revenue, and he is more interested in coming up with get-rich-quick schemes to bring in easy money. Without telling his employees or the customers, Calvin sells his barbershop to a greedy loan shark named Lester Wallace (Keith David), who lies about keeping the place the same and secretly plans to turn the place into a strip club. Calvin's plan is to invest the proceeds into creating recording studio & play in the big leagues of the music industry. When his wife Jennifer (Jazsmin Lewis) finds out, she points out that the business was never under debt until Calvin started borrowing money to finance his schemes including a failed T-shirt company, and herbal life vitamins. Jennifer is pregnant and is expected to deliver shortly. The staff at the shop includes Eddie Walker (Cedric the Entertainer), Ricky (who carries a weapon in his backpack), Terri Jones (Eve) (who finds that her boyfriend Kevin (Jason Winston George) is cheating on her), Jimmy James (Sean Patrick Thomas), Isaac Rosenberg (Troy Garity) (who is white, but acts like an African American) and others. Prior to this, two wannabe thugs, JD (Anthony Anderson) and his best friend Billy (Lahmard Tate), steal an ATM from a convenience store. Due to Billy's clumsiness the thugs end up damaging the convenience store bu driving their pick-up truck right through its front facade. They tie an iron chain around the ATM and pull with the brute force of the pick-up truck. During the attempt, the truck's rear fender detaches and falls inside the store, which neither Billy nor JD notices. Detective Williams (Tom Wright) comes by the shop the following morning to interrogate Ricky as he has a criminal past and is a 2 time felon. Williams warns that he has the CCTV footage from the camera at the convenience store and in a few hours he will know the truth. The barbershop is a focal point for the community where people gather and exchange good vibes and humor. They take the machine back to Billy's place and they spend all day trying to pry it open. Calvin says words of encouragement to the convenience store owner Samir (Parvesh Cheena), which helps Samir & deepens his resolve to keep the shop open & continue serving the community. Samir tells Calvin that the ATM machine was brand new & had no cash, but the machine itself is quite valuable & banks give $ 50K reward for returning it. After spending a day at work and realizing just how vital the barbershop is to the surrounding community & everyone who works there, Calvin rethinks his decision and tries to get his shop back, only to find out Wallace wants double the $20,000 he paid Calvin to give the shop back, and before 7 P.M. Meanwhile JD & Billy keep having issues in hiding the ATM machine as Billy keeps messing up & keeps on increasing the visibility & attracting attention to himself & the machine. Now Calvin has only a scant few hours to try to raise enough money to save the shop. After he admits to the employees that he sold the barber shop and that it would be closing at the end of the day, Chicago police come in and arrests one of the barbers named Ricky (Michael Ealy). Ricky was arrested after being accused of driving his pickup truck into a nearby market to steal the ATM, but it is revealed that the ATM thief, JD, is Ricky's cousin and he was the one who committed the crime after borrowing Ricky's truck. That was Ricky's third strike, and he could be sentenced to life in prison. Calvin uses the $20,000 from Lester to bail Ricky out of jail. Once Calvin picks Ricky up from the jail, Ricky is angry at his cousin for betraying him and wants to kill him. Ricky had called JD from jail & when JD found out that this was Ricky's third strike, he was happy because Ricky would be jailed for life & could not harm JD anyways. Calvin tries to calm him down, but Ricky does not show any sign of calming down. Calvin gives Ricky a gun he found that fell out of Ricky's locker at the shop and is disappointed that Ricky is going to end up right back in jail. Ricky tells Calvin to pull the car over, and he does. Ricky gets out and decides to throw the gun off the bridge they are on and into the water before getting back into the car, proving that he does not want to get in any more trouble with the law. Then they both go to see Lester. Lester, as well as JD and Billy (who were still trying to pry it open, by using the blow torch in Lester's workshop, without Lester's knowledge) are confronted by Calvin and Ricky. Calvin and Ricky demands Lester to give Calvin his barbershop back. Rickey threatens to reveal the existence of the stolen ATM machine to the police along with the fact that Lester is dealing with stolen car parts in his workshop. Lester is angered and orders his bodyguard Monk (Kevyn Morrow) to pull out his gun. The police arrive just in time to save Calvin and Ricky. JD and Billy are arrested. Calvin and Ricky take the ATM and get a $50,000 reward for returning it to police. They get the money, and the barbershop reopens with even better business than before. In the meantime, Calvin's wife, Jennifer (Jazsmin Lewis), has given birth to a baby boy.

The themes are Blacks and Whites, men and women, old-school and hip-hop. Steve Harvey emcees, celebrates '70s music and lyrics of love, and pokes at folks in the front row. D.L. Hughley mines racial differences and talks about his marriage. Cedric the Entertainer riffs on a Black president and on being grown up. Bernie Mac, who says he expresses what's in the back of our minds, closes with reflections on being 42 (new aspects to his sex life and his attitude toward children). A group of young people take an old bus from Harlem to Miami to make a rap music video there. A group of young people leave Harlem for a bus trip down to Miami. The voyage starts off with problems, but it ends up becoming a learning experience, as they end up learning things about each other they had not previously known. —Guy Johns
