A rock and roll wannabe on the verge of stardom has a crisis of faith, stealing a car and picking up a mysterious fan on a road trip to nowhere. Plagued by grief, self-doubt and issues of identity, these troubled lives become inextricably linked as a much more powerful force begins to set in.

The story revolves around the lives of three young friends, who struggle to establish themselves in the real world. They are working to make it big until they get caught up in a certain situation, only to get rescued by a common friend of 45-year-old.

Two refugees from 1945, and two from Syria in 2015, tell about their flights from their homes into Germany. Their experiences appear quite similar, in spite of the many years between them.

A handful of individuals, a common target and a fateful 24 hours towards the endgame - Onnam Loka Mahayudham is a cross between a road movie and a thriller. Tovino Thomas plays Dr Jacob and Aparna Gopinath appears on screen as Thara Mathew IPS.

Avinash Malhotra (Bobby Deol) is married to Sanjana (Lara Dutta). One night Sanjana is murdered, and Avinash is arrested for the murder of his wife. An astrologer forecasts that wealthy industrialist Avinash Malhotra will find his soul-mate on new years' eve. Avinash disbelieves this, but does attend the party and he meets his dream-girl and soul-mate, Sanjana, and both in love with each other. They get married and settle down in a harmonious lifestyle. Shortly after this, Avinash notices very odd behavior on her part, as she leaves the house at very odd hours, and when he is not present, lies to him about where she has been, and does not answer the phone. He follows her. He finds out that she has a secret male lover. When he confronts her, an argument ensues, and Avinash drinks himself to sleep. The next morning he is woken up by Police Inspector Vishnu Patnaik, arrested and charged with killing Sanjana. On being questioned, Avinash admits that they did have an argument, but he does not remember anything thereafter as he had too much alcohol. Avinash's advocate friend, Rohit, does not think that he is a killer and is on the verge of proving it in court, when a man claiming to be Sanjana's maternal uncle, Chamanlal, gives evidence that he had seen Sanjana being killed at the hands of her husband, and that her body is buried in the backyard. The police locate the body, identify it as that of Sanjana, and the court sentences Avinash with the death penalty. While being transported to jail, Avinash manages to escape in order to try and find out who killed his wife, and who framed him. Only to run into Rohit - who wants Avinash dead, and take over his vast estate and property. —rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com) Multi-millionaire businessman Avinash Malhotra is an eligible bachelor. He attends a party on new-year's eve and gets to meet beautiful Sanjana; the next day he decides to employ her as his secretary. Working with each other both Avinash and Sanjana started to fall in love and decided to get married. Shortly after Avinash finds that Sanjana is not the same person; as she frequently makes excuses about her where-about, when confronted lie to him and does not answer her phone. Avinash decides to pay keener interest to her and finds out that she has a male lover; when confronted an argument unfolds forcing Avinash to get violent and Sanjana to lock herself up in a room for safety. Avinash then consume an unreasonable amount of alcohol which leads him into a deep sleep. The next morning Avinash finds himself handcuffed for the murder of Sanjana. The case is called up in court with Avinash's close friend Rohit as his defense lawyer who also gives him the assurance not to worry. Rohit is on the vogue of winning the case when a man named Chamanlal enters claiming that he is Sanjana's maternal uncle and providing evidence which leads the court to a rotten half decompose dead body.
