A rich and successful visually impaired man meets a girl and the two fall in love. A few days later he meets with an accident and wakes up a month later to realise his eyesight has been restored. But the girl he fell in love with is nowhere to be found. Desperate in his search, will he find what he is looking for?

Mudit and Sugandha are all set to marry, however, two days prior to their wedding, Mudit realises he suffers from an erectile dysfunction, which almost sabotages their wedding after both the families get involved. Leading to a comical mess, Mudit attempts to treat his medical condition, using all the possible quacks.

The semiautobiographical movie speaks of director Rakeysh Mehra`s early days in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Played by Abhishek Bachchan, the protagonist returns home to get back to his roots and visit his old grandmother (Waheeda Rehman) in Delhi. He falls in love with his neighbor (Sonam Kapoor) and the rest is movie history.
