Two women with differing degrees of success travel north from Los Angeles to Big Sur for a weekend vacation. Both see the trip as an opportunity to reconnect after years of competition and jealousy have driven a wedge between them. Best friends Anna and Beth take a weekend trip to Big Sur, hopeful to re-establish a bond broken by years of competition and jealousy. Tensions mount, however, leading to an unexpected yet inevitable confrontation that changes the lives of both....forever. On a trip to Big Sur, two friends, both actresses, try to reconnect with each other. Once alone together, the women's suppressed jealousies and deep-seated resentments begin to rise, causing them to lose their grasp on not only the true nature of their relationship, but also their identities. Beth is a moderately successful actress, primarily known for roles in thrillers and commercials. Her best friend Anna is a struggling actress, with her career mostly limited to appearances in student films. The two women plan to spend quality time together in a weekend getaway. Early in their trip, Anna reveals that she just ended her relationship with her boyfriend. Both women flirt with men in a bar, but Anna finds herself ignored in favor of Beth. Meanwhile, Beth is frustrated when Anna demonstrates better acting skills than her own. The hidden tensions in the relationship of the two women escalate to a fight. —Dimos I

Joe MacTeague [Kirk Douglas] is a rich old man but he wants to know which of his relatives really cares about him.His nephews and niece Carl [Ed Begley jr],Frank [Phil Hartman],Glen [Jere Burns] and Patti [Colleen Camp] visit him time and again at his mansion to please,amuse and generally suck up to him,even trying to outdo each other to try and win favour with him for his fortune. One day,they discover Joe has hired a beautiful english woman called Molly [Olivia D,Abo] to serve him as a private nurse and after witnessing how close the two of them seem, the family start to worry about her intentions for their Uncle's money.They hire a private detective to find more out about her and soon realise that they can't possibly compete with what Molly can offer Joe.Desperate not to give up,they decide to track down Danny [Michael J.Fox] now a grown up bowler,who was forced to leave the family years earlier with his father,after an heated argument with Joe.But the family remember how fond of Danny jr,Joe was. Danny has had to give up his bowling career after injuring his wrist,but has decided to invest in a bowling centre with a couple of friends.He tells his girlfriend Robin [Nancy Travis] that it's going to cost $300,000 dollars,but he soon realises he could be in luck when the detective tracks him down, and tells him about his family's invitation to Joe's.Danny asks him for a loan,but Joe tells him he will only lend him the money if he chooses him over his dad.Danny refuses. Later,Joe apologizes for suggesting something like that,but tells him it was because he was testing him to see if he was like his relatives.Danny soon realises that Joe is becoming ill and starts to worry when Joe tells him he plans on giving his money to Molly.Danny moves in with him to try and prevent that from happening.And it works.But his relatives are angry that he doesn't plan on sharing any money with them after deciding that they're scumbags and Molly is angry that he's taking Joe's money while he's still alive. Desperate for none of the Macteague's to get their inheritance,Molly decides to finally do what she said she never would - have sex with the old man.But just as she is about to go through with it,they are interrupted by Danny's father,who is disgusted that nothing has changed in the household since he left.Danny gets into a huge argument with him and ends up choosing Uncle Joe over his dad.Molly decides to leave after she realises how low she nearly sunk,and that deep down she was only ever really there for the money.Robin tries to comfort Danny about the situation with his dad,but he tells her that it wasn't really his dad.It was in fact an actor that he'd hired,in order to make out to his uncle that he loved him more than his dad.Robin is disgusted and leaves. At Joe's attorney's office,Danny is waiting with Joe ready to gain all of his money and posessions,but they are interrupted by the rest of the family who have brought along Danny's real father.Feeling ashamed that his dad knows all about his schemes,Danny admits that he's become just as greedy as the rest of them.But he and the family soon find out that not only is Joe broke,he's also $93,000 dollars in debt.A fight breaks out between the family and everyone is told to leave,but not before Danny tells Joe how much he hates him.But when Danny goes back to Robin,she reminds him how much he does actually care about his uncle. The two of them let the ill and homeless Joe stay with them in their apartment,but Joe has a surprise for them when they look out the window and see his butler across the street with Molly.He's not really broke."I'm richer than shit".He tells them that they've proved their love for him and they can stay with him at his mansion and co - own everything of his.And his final surprise for them - he gets up out of his wheelchair and walks out.

Carly Norris (Sharon Stone), a beautiful book editor and divorcee in her mid-30s, moves into the exclusive New York City sliver building "113". A sliver building is a tall building constructed on a lot with a narrow frontage, more specifically in New York City. Evelyn McEvoy (Nina Foch) is the real estate agent for the apartment building. Carly loved the view and the fact that the apartment is on a high floor. Carly was married to her ex-husband for 7 years and feels that she wasted that time of her life and was too late to realize that she shared nothing in common with the man she was spending her life with. Judy (Colleen Camp) is Carly's colleague at the office. Alex Parsons (Martin Landau) is Carly's boss and she is expecting a raise at work. Carly meets other tenants including Zeke (William Baldwin), a video game designer, Jack (Tom Berenger) a novelist, Vida (Polly Walker) a fashion model who moonlights as a call girl, and Gus (Keene Curtis) a professor of Videography at New York University. They tell Carly that she bears a striking resemblance to Naomi Singer (Allison Mackie), the previous tenant of her apartment who fell to her death from her balcony. Gus travels a lot to Japan to look over the latest video technology that he can later teach in his class. Alex introduces Jack to Carly at work. Jack had written 2 hit novels a few years ago and nothing ever since. Alex wanted Carly to convince Jack to write again. Carly admits that she has never read Jack's novels before in her life. Jack becomes slightly obsessive with Carly and says that she will read his novels as she has good taste. It is shown in a flashback that Naomi was thrown off the balcony of her apartment by a mysterious man in a hoodie who had access to Naomi's place. Zeke is very friendly to Carly and even helps her move into the building. He somehow is present every time Carly is in the common areas of the building. Unknown to Carly her apartment, even her bathroom was bugged with secret cameras that were keeping an eye on her. The mysterious person had bugged every apartment in the building with hidden cameras and was keeping an eye on everybody at the same time. The person sees Carly in the bathroom, in her tub, masturbating. Jack badgers Carly to read his novels after he sends her a copy of his 2 bestsellers. Carly stands up to Jack and indicates that she does not like the intrusion into her private life, but Jack is very persistent. Someone sends Carly a telescope as a gift but kept their identity hidden. Through the telescope Carly sees Vida trying to seduce Jack on the streets. She only leaves after Jack gives her some money from his wallet. After running into Zeke numerous times, Carly invites him to her housewarming party. Jack also barges in without an invitation. Carly joins the gym with Zeke. One time she gets stuck in the laundromat of the building in the basement, when the power fails, and gets really scared after hearing strange noises. Zeke arrives there shortly afterwards to rescue her. Carly visits Zeke at his apartment after a gym session, where Zeke got really flirty with her and touched her behind. Soon afterwards, Carly and Zeke begin a sexual relationship. Their sex sessions are also recorded by the mysterious person with the hidden cameras. Meanwhile, Jack starts stalking Carly and warning her about Zeke who he says is "sick". He also points out that Zeke's deceased mother, a soap opera actress named Thea Manning, bears a resemblance to Carly. Jack says that Zeke was seeing Naomi and that Naomi was seeing a shrink. Carly retorts that Jack is unable to write anymore and is making up these stories about Zeke and Naomi to hide the fact that he cannot write. Carly continues to see Zeke and gets romantically involved with him. Zeke engages Carly in increasingly erotic behavior including exposing her undergarments to him at a restaurant while they were having a meal in the dining room. Zeke tells Carly that he never knew Naomi and that she came onto him once. Zeke instead tells Carly that it was Jack who had an affair with Naomi. Carly calls Jack and says that it was Vida who told her that Jack had an affair with Naomi. Jack immediately recognizes that Vida never said any such thing and that it was Zeke who told Carly about the affair. As Jack's behavior becomes more erratic, Gus dies in the shower under suspicious circumstances and Vida is murdered, with police suspicion falling on Jack for her death after Carly discovers him in the stairwell with her corpse. Carly is in touch with Lieutenant Victoria Hendrix (C. C. H. Pounder). Zeke reveals to Carly that he is the owner of 113, which he bought with his inheritance from his wealthy father. As owner of 113, Zeke has installed a comprehensive video surveillance system throughout the building, allowing him to spy on all of the tenants from his own secret surveillance room. It is revealed that Zeke is the mysterious person spying on everybody in the building. Carly realizes that Zeke has been spying on her through his hidden cameras. Carly is livid, but is intrigued by the system and starts playing with it herself as she looks into the private lives of all the other people in the building. Jack is charged with the murder of Vida but is released on bail and returns to the building. Through deduction and eventually one of Zeke's secret recordings, Carly learns that Jack killed Naomi in a crime of passion. Jack was jealous of Zeke, who had sexual relations with both Naomi and Vida. Jack attacks Carly in her own apartment, and she accidentally shoots him dead. Angry at Zeke for withholding evidence in Naomi's murder, and jealous of his liaisons with Naomi and Vida, Carly destroys Zeke's surveillance room, tells him to "get a life", then leaves.

The crew in blue is back again. The wacky Keystone Cops have graduated to even higher levels of sheer pandemonium in the first sequel to one of the top comedy hits of all time.

As is the case with the two preceding 'Smokey and the Bandit' films, Smokey and the Bandit Part 3 begins with Big Enos (Pat McCormick) and Little Enos (Paul Williams) offering a sizeable wager on one's ability to transport a shipment a large distance in a short period of time. Offering a slight twist, however, the offer is this time made to a retiring Sheriff Buford T. Justice (Jackie Gleason), betting $250,000 against his badge on his ability to transport a large stuffed fish from an eatery in Florida to Texas. Unlike the two earlier films, Big and Little Enos this time seem to be quite active in their desire to see Buford fail in his goal. After Buford dodges their many traps (especially after he destroyed their milk truck, which drenched them and disabled their engine), they then go so far as to actually attempt to hire the Bandit (as a distraction) to stop him. Deciding that the Bandit is too egotistical and hard to manage, they hire Cledus "Snowman" Snow (Jerry Reed) as his replacement. Accepting the offer, Cledus parks his Peterbilt 359 and climbs behind the wheel of a black and gold 1983 Pontiac Trans Am. He later picks up Dusty (Colleen Camp), who quits her job as a "bookkeeper" for a used car dealership, but not before attempting to wreck her boss' business (a seedy used car dealership) by badmouthing him in the middle of broadcasting a live TV commercial. The scene of Cledus picking up Dusty in the middle of the road is almost an exact repeat of how Bo picked up Frog in the 1977 film. Cledus manages to catch up with Buford on an interstate, where he then lassoes Buford's fish off of the Justices' police cruiser; Buford needs the fish to retrieve his $250,000. Buford then begins a hot pursuit of Cledus, with another local officer who attempts to take charge of the situation. Not long after the local officer is disabled, Buford becomes disabled as well when sand is dumped on his squad car. The pursuit quickly resumes as Buford catches up to the duo after Cledus and Dusty stop at a redneck bar to pick up some food. The chase resumes as they enter a local town, where mass chaos comes with their entry. Cledus escapes when an 18 wheeler blocks the alleyway where Cletus run through. While trying to get the truck out, Buford's car is hitched to a tow-truck. After unsuccessfully pleading with the traffic officer to release his car, he sends his son Junior (Mike Henry) out to unhook it. Unable to wait, he angrily reverses the car and escapes. The tow truck operator chases him in pursuit, with Junior dangling on the hook, spinning freely. Eventually, Buford manages to make the truck flip over, sending the truck and Junior flying. A number of cars continue to crash into the pile-up. The next scene comes sudden as the Bandit and Justice are in the Mississippi fairgrounds. Buford continues to pursue on two wheels after driving on an incline with Cledus letting the fame get to his head. Cledus and Dusty decide to stop at a hotel for the night, which contains people who are involved in "sexual" acts, several of which are quite deviant. Buford finds the Bandit's Trans Am and decides to make a search of the building to find the fish, which he eventually does. While searching in the steamroom, Buford handcuffs himself to a muscular nymphomaniac female who will not take no for an answer. The next final scenes show Buford getting his tires blown by the "Enos Devil Darts." Cledus quickly arrives and retakes the fish. Cledus and Justice then start a final pursuit with Buford on two tires, first through a bunch of cattle, then to boats, then finally through a field where the Enoses set off a series of explosives, one of which destroys all of the bodywork, leaving the engine, seats, and police light bar (being held by Junior above his head). Cledus decides to surrender the fish to let Buford win. Just after cashing in on the $250,000, Buford finds Cledus and begins to apprehend him, but Buford then imagines Cledus to be the "Real" Bandit (in a cameo appearance by Burt Reynolds) who sweet talks him to letting him go and starting a new pursuit. Similar to the ending of the 1977 movie, Buford is again chasing the Bandit in the hulk of his police cruiser (the muscular female has taken Junior's place riding shotgun this time), while Junior chases after "Daddy" for miles on end, dropping the reward money as he goes.
