Set in Ramanathapuram in the 1980s, Thorati is a slice-of-life rural drama depicting the life and times of a community of goat-herders. A story of love, friendship, betrayal and revenge, the film is directed by Marimuthu and produced by Indhu Karunakaran.

Enakkal Oruvan is the remake of the Kannada film, Lucia. The movie tells the story about a theatre usher who wants to dream of a more glamorous life. He is tricked into buying a drug that makes his desires come true in his dreams, blurring the line between fantasy and reality.

`Soodhu Kawum` features Vijay Sethupathi and Sanchita Shetty in leading roles. The film`s ensemble cast also consists of Karunakaran, Ramesh Boby Kottarakkara and Ashok Selvan. Debutant Nalan Kumarasamy has directed this action-thriller and CV Kumar has produced it. The film`s music director is Santhosh Narayan
