Teenz cantered around a spirited group of thirteen teenagers, embarking on an unpredictable journey. Set in current day Chennai, the film follows these upper middle-class brats, determined to prove to themselves and the world, that they are in fact adults, capable of making their own decisions.

Ashok and Ritika are friends who decide to marry each other, but married life is not what they expected. As they get stuck trying to spice up their romantic lives, Meera - Ashok`s former crush - turns up and complicates things further.

Vasudev (Nassar) is the Chief Minister for the state of Telangana and is charged for corruption under a case of disproportionate assets. Due to this, he decides to make his son, Varun (Vijay Deverakonda) the interim CM for a brief period until he proves that he is innocent. However, the court finds him guilty and sentences him to five-year imprisonment. Though Varun is initially reluctant to step into his father`s shoes, he is left with no choice. A violent incident that costs a young girl her life, makes Varun takes his job seriously.
