Dana Hill

Tom and Jerry (Richard Kind and Dana Hill) are together with their owners as they are about to move to a new home. The moving van is at their old house waiting, while Tom dozes in the back of the car, however when he notices Jerry, he puts him on a cue stick, and Jerry, noticing no escape and knowing that he will fly, grabs hold of Tom's whiskers so they fly together into the garden. Jerry quickly dashes into his mouse-hole and locks the door, Tom nailing wooden planks on the door. Tom leaves the house, but it is too late: The owners have left. When Tom tries to get in the moving car, he ends up with a bulldog and ties up his ears so he cannot see. Tom runs into the house for safety and stays there for the night. The next day, Tom notices that the house is being destroyed by a demolition crew. He manages to escape but realizes he could not just leave Jerry, so he goes back in and saves him. The two manage to survive, but now they are homeless. The two traverse the streets looking for food and shelter all day, to no avail, they remain homeless. That night in an alley they meet a stray dog named Pugsy (Ed Gilbert) and his friend, Frankie Da Flea (David Lander). Tom and Jerry both introduce themselves, before suddenly realizing seconds later that the other spoke, a rarity in the shorts, as they have not spoken in over 50 years. Pugsy and Frankie encourage the two to be friends, as it would be difficult to survive in the streets alone. They agree, and they also all agree to have a 'feast' at their place and Pugsy makes a 'buffet' by collecting leftovers in the bin. When Pugsy's tray is full, two dogcatchers capture him and Frankie and lock them in their truck. With Pugsy and Frankie gone, Tom is ambushed by a gang of mean singing alley cats who chase him, only to be saved by Jerry. Tom and Jerry then meet a girl named Robyn Starling (Anndi McAfee), whose mother died when she was a baby and is left behind with her evil guardian (or "Aunt") Pristine Figg (Charlotte Rae) when her father goes away to Tibet, but her father is now presumed killed in an avalanche. Figg has proceeded to take over the house with her sleazy lawyer, Lickboot (Tony Jay), even moving Robyn into the attic as her bedroom. Robyn had run away after her locket was thrown out of the window and that is how she began to run. Tom and Jerry, knowing what it is like to be homeless, attempt to convince her to return home, convinced that deep down, Figg loves Robyn. Indeed, Aunt Figg is crying in the house, scared of losing Robyn and begging a local police officer to find her safely, but reverts to her cold, money-hungry self once the officer is gone. The officer finds Robyn, Tom, and Jerry, but Figg has Tom and Jerry sent to an animal shelter run by Dr. J. Applecheek (Henry Gibson), who is in secret the employer of the two dogcatchers and in charge of an abusive, prison-like pound. Tom and Jerry are reunited with Puggsy and Frankie, and with help from several other dogs (including Droopy) they stage an escape. Meanwhile, Robyn discovers through a telegram that her father is alive, and once reunited with Tom and Jerry, they run away to find him. Figg discovers this, and places a $1 million bounty on the three of them. Meanwhile, Robin's father, Mr. "Daddy" Starling (Ed Gilbert), is notified that his daughter has run away, and immediately returns to America to find her. Tom and Jerry end up separated from Robyn after their raft crashes into a ship. Robyn is found by the owner of a local amusement park, Captain Kiddie (Rip Taylor), and his talking hand puppet, Squawk (Howard Morris), but Kiddie and Squawk see Robyn's face in an advert about the bounty and telephone Figg after trapping Robyn in a Ferris wheel. Applecheek overhears the telephone conversation and a race begins to reach Robyn first. Tom and Jerry find Robyn in the park just when Figg and Applecheek arrive. The three of them trap the dogcatchers in the Ferris wheel and flee up the river in a boat, pursued by Figg, Applecheek, and Kiddie. Eventually, Applecheek falls off a bridge and crashes into Kiddie and Squawk in the water, and Aunt Figg and Lickboot end up with their 1955 Austin-Healey 100 stuck in the mud on a farm. The river ultimately takes Tom, Jerry, and Robyn to an old summer cabin belonging to her and her father, but they are ambushed by Figg and Lickboot, who attempt to forcefully take Robyn back home. In the ensuing struggle, an oil lamp breaks and starts a fire. Tom and Jerry climb onto the roof and get Robyn out of the cabin with a rope while Figg and Lickboot are stuck in the roof of the boat and it drives them away never to be seen again. As the house goes up in flames, Daddy Starling (Ed Gilbert) finally arrives in a helicopter and rescues Robyn, but is unable to reach Tom and Jerry before the cabin collapses. Fortunately, the pair survive the wreckage and are taken to live with Robyn and her father in their home. Pugsy and Frankie see this in a newspaper and are satisfied that Tom and Jerry finally found friendship. However, old habits die hard, as once Robyn and her father are out of sight, Tom and Jerry resume with their old antics.

George Jetson is forced to uproot his family when Mr. Spacely promotes him to take charge of a new factory on a distant planet. The Jetsons make their film debut in a film about family, friends, and all that stuff. George's tightwad boss, Mr. Spacely, is determined to get his remote factor on his ore asteroid miles away to make 1,000,000 sprockets, but all the vice-presidents sent to run it have disappeared, so Mr. Spacely must find someone else to run it: someone mighty brave--and mighty stupid. So who does he pick? George Jetson. So George packs up his family: his sensible, loving wife Jane; his rebellious teenage daughter Judy, whose new boyfriend is a super-galactic rock star; his basketball-champ son Elroy, who's losing faith in his father; and his sassy maid Rosie. While Judy meets another boy and enjoys a huge shopping mall, George sets off to work with his new friend, a robot foreman named Rudy 2. The factory is sabotaged on opening day, so George intends to investigate and disappears. Now it's up to Elroy and his new friends to rescue George. Along for the ride are Judy and Jane. While other family members are enjoying the move, George finds trouble at the new job right away. George Jetson gets a promotion and moves to outer space with the entire family--Jane, Judy, Elroy, Rosie the Robot, and Astro the family dog. But soon the family discovers that George's company is destroying the homes of the Grungies, the friendly underground creatures who live on the same asteroid. George Jetson gets a job offer to run his own sprocket factory. However, it is on some distant planet and he's not the first employee from Spacely's Sprockets to be sent there. It turns out that the factory is sabotaged because it affects the caves underneath. Clark W. Griswald (Chevy Chase), his wife, Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo), and their teenage children, Audrey (Dana Hill) and Rusty (Jason Livey), are contestants on a TV game show called "A Pig In A Poke." After facing off against the eccentric and intellectual Froeger family, the Griswald's win the show's grand prize: a two-week, all-expense-paid European vacation. During a cookout the next day, Audrey does not want to leave her boy friend, Jack, behind. Before they leave, Clark videotapes a provocative striptease performed by his wife. On the plane to London, England, Ellen dreams that she meets Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana, Audrey has a nightmare of gaining weight from the rich European cuisine, and Rusty dreams of beautiful women fawning over him. Clark dreams of spending time with his family in the Bavarian Alps. Arriving in London, they follow the itinerary provided by the game show, which promises luxury accommodations. However, their hotel room is not up to par. Clark has trouble driving on the opposite side of the road, gets into three car accidents, hitting one man on a bicycle (Eric Idle), and is stuck driving for hours in a roundabout. Sometime later, they take a drive in the countryside and visit Stonehenge, and Clark reverses his car into the rock installations, knocking them over like dominoes, as he drives away. Next, the Griswald's arrive in Paris, France, and a local man steals Clark's video camera after he offers to take a family photograph. Clark buys everyone berets with their names on them. They have lunch at a local cafe where the waiter insults them in French, knowing that they are tourists and cannot understand the French language. During the day, The family visits the Eiffel Tower. Later, they race through the Louvre museum in 15 minutes, and Ellen pleads with Clark to slow down their tour. Audrey is distraught when she receives a break-up letter from Jack. The family drives to Germany to visit Clark's distant relatives, Fritz and Helga. They arrive at the wrong home, however, and fail to realize the elderly couple are not Fritz and Helga. The German couple do not speak English, but welcome the Griswalds to dinner, and allow them to spend the night. The family leaves the next day, thinking they had a nice visit with their family. At a German festival, Rusty meets a local girl named Claudia (Claudia Neidig). After kissing her, she shows him her breasts. Elsewhere, Clark wears a Bavarian costume and joins performers on stage where he participates in a traditional dance. Clark accidentally incites a riot, and the family flees as an angry mob pursues. They board a train for Rome, Italy, but lose their luggage in the process. Meanwhile, two criminals hold up a Rome traveler's check office, and tie-up the shopkeeper. When Clark arrives to reclaim his lost traveler's checks, the lead criminal (Victor Lanoux) pretend they work in the shop, and give him three times the amount he lost. Additionally, they provide him with a rental car, in which they have hidden the shopkeeper in the trunk. The thieves secretly follow the Griswalds around Rome. The family buys extravagant Italian clothes, and later, the teens demand some time away from their parents. Ellen sees a billboard with a suggestive photograph of her on it, and realizes it came from the stolen video camera. She is furious with Clark for not erasing the provocative videotape as promised. The family goes their separate ways, and the criminals follow Ellen, who drives off with the hostage in the trunk. Elsewhere, Rusty meets an American girl (Moon Zappa) and flirts with her, while Audrey attempts to purchase a ticket home to salvage her relationship with Jack. Meanwhile, Ellen proceeds to get drunk at the hotel bar, and is joined by the lead thief, whom she recognizes from the travelers check shop. Believing him to be the shopkeeper, she regales him with her marital woes. When she goes to her hotel room, the man follows, and tries to seduce her. Ellen fights him off, and picks up the telephone to call police, but he holds a gun to her head and kidnaps her. As the thief escorts her out of the hotel, Ellen sees her daughter in the lobby, and throws her the keys to the car. Audrey realizes something is amiss, and when her father arrives, they chase Ellen and her kidnapper. Clark and Audrey race through the streets of Rome. As Clark crashes along the narrow streets, he sees Rusty and his new girl friend, who get into the automobile. When he gets a flat tire, Clark opens the truck and finds the bound shopkeeper inside. In mid-pursuit, Clark takes a nearby bicycle and chases after Ellen. He jumps into the convertible and the kidnapper crashes into a fountain. The thief is arrested, Ellen embraces Clark, and the Griswalds happily return to America. But in the final scene as the plane arrives over New York City, Clark accidentally stumbles into the cockpit and knocks the pilot down which the plane nose dives and knocks the torch of the Statue of Liberty over.
