Kolkata police detective Shabor Dasgupta sets out to solve the murder case of Mitali Ghosh, a woman with a messy past. Her ex-husband Mithu Mitra, ex-boyfriend Pantu and friend Samiran are the prime suspects and so is her cousin Joyeeta. His investigation reveals a complex web of relationships gone sour that gives almost everyone a good motive.

`Ekla Akash` is a romance, depicting a modern woman`s search for herself despite being successful in the showbizz industry. This aspiration that she harbors strains her married life. The film stars Parno Mitra, Gautam Ghosh, Parambrata, Rudranil and Deblina Dutta. Sandipan Roy has directed this Bengali drama and Ujjal Sikder has produced it. Jeet Ganguly has given the film it`s music score.
