Raju, the son of a rich landlord, and Veeru, a poor boy, become doting friends. The duo grows up and Raju decides to get his sister married to Veeru, on whom she has been secretly having a crush. However, an unprecedented event turns around all of the relationships and their dynamics. So much, so that Raju swears eternal enmity with Veeru. Years later, their enmity is up for a challenge when their grand children Radha and Vasu fall in love with each-other and attempt to over-step the long-standing enmity between the families. Will they be able to make things right between their grand fathers, and unite?

The famed love story between heir to the throne Prince Salim and the court dancer Anarkali has gone down the annals of history. When Emperor Akbar gets to know about his son`s relationship with the court dancer, he is aghast and tries his best to thwart the romance. But Salim doesn`t relent and rebels by leading a small army against his father, only to be defeated and sentenced to death by the Emperor. But Anarkali offers to sacrifice her life to let Prince Salim live. Akbar orders for her to be entombed alive, but an unexpected turn of events so ensues, that Akbar is caught in a spot with a favor he needs to return (to Anarkali`s mother) on one side, and his duty towards his Kingdom on the other.
