The story revolves around a man called Rajeeva (Krishna), who loves Nayana. However, an unfortunate incident makes them go separate ways. After that, Rajeeva hits the bottle, which forces his family to get him married, hoping for a reformation hence. Ironically, it is the tragic death of his wife (Bhavana) that forces Rajeeva to reform. He promises his family members that he would give up drinking for the sake of his child.

Rajeev dejected in life, after he is unable to marry his girl Namana hits the bar. Rajeev is married off to parimala, by his brother with a hope that he mends his ways. His struggle with his addiction forms the plot.
