Taking the leap out of the classic folklore - Laila Majnu, the story is written by Imtiaz Ali in a re-envisioned, contemporary style. Set in today`s day and time, Laila Majnu have real problems and hindrances relevant to the youth of today. They both fall in love in the mystical backdrop of Kashmir, against their feuding families and a passionate, unique and contemporary love story unravels thereafter.

This is the story of an underworld don, Shoaib (Akshay Kumar), who killed his mentor in the past (Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai) to gain supremacy and is now the ruling mafia king. `Shootout at Wadala` is an upcoming Indian crime film written and directed by Sanjay Gupta. It is the sequel to 2007 Bollywood film Shootout at Lokhandwala. The film features an ensemble cast that includes John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut and Ronit Roy. The film will dramatise the first-ever registered encounter by Mumbai police, where gangster Nitesh Dhamne was shot dead, which took place at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Wadala, Mumbai on November 1, 1982. The film is slated to release on 7 December, 2012. The film stars Anil Kapoor as ACP Isaque Bagwan, John Abraham as Manya Surve, Kangna Ranaut as Vidya Joshi, Sonu Sood as Dawood Ibrahim, Manoj Bajpai as Sabir Ibrahim, Tusshar Kapoor as Sheik Munir, Ronit Roy as Inspector Raja Tambat and Mahesh Manjrekar as Inspector Shinde.

This movie brings to light the reach, connection and nexus of the underworld and devotion to profession of men so committed, that all they really cared about was their jobs.

An incomplete book containing nine-and-a-half stories is revealed to be cursed and endangers the life of a bunch of college friends after one of them ends up reading it. During the year 1990 Professor-Author Siddharth Das releases his first book 'Kahi Unkahi Baatein' which contain a total of 10 short stories albeit with the last story 'Krishna Cottage' without any ending. A total of fifty thousand copies are printed and distributed to five different cities in India. Three trucks carrying these copies meet with mysterious accidents, two toppling off cliffs, and one catching fire; and one ship sinks losing it's entire consignment. One copy of this book is found and kept under lock and key in the store-room of J.C. College. Then in 2002 collegians Akshay, Kabir, Nupur, Pulit, Shanti, and Manav, induct new-comer, Disha, to their group, and also invite her to the engagement ceremony of Shanti and Manav.
