Friends Max (Jacob Tremblay), Lucas (Keith L. Williams), and Thor (Brady Noon) (The Beanbag Boys) enter sixth grade facing their own personal dilemmas. Max's father Andrew (Will Forte) heads out for work and warns Max not to play with the drone. He says that the drone is a serious piece of equipment meant for his work and hence Max should not treat it like a toy. Max lives with Mother Amy (Mariessa Portelance). Max has a crush on classmate Brixlee (Millie Davis). Taylor is Brixlee's friend who has been tasked to figure out if Max has a crush on her, and to get him to admit it first. Hannah is a teenager who lives in the same neighborhood as Max, and she has a steady boyfriend. The boys like to peek on Hannah when she is about to kiss her boyfriend Benji (Josh Caras). Lucas has a game card that is worth over $600, and the boys feel that they have a million dollars. Lucas stays with his father (Lil Rel Howery) and mother (Retta). Lucas learns his parents are getting divorced. Thor lives with mother (Enid-Raye Adams), and sister Annabelle (Lina Renna). Teasing from his peers discourages Thor from pursuing his love of singing. Soren (Izaac Wang) is a popular student at school who continually baits Thor and makes fun of him for his "feminine" tastes such as singing. Thor does not have the courage to stand up to Soren and keeps suppressing his passions. Soren's classmates and entourage are Marcus (Christian Darrel Scott) and Atticus (Chance Hurstfield) who also pick on Thor. Marcus and Atticus bait Max and Thor into the woods, where they dare them to sip a beer. While Max is able to do so, Thor backs out claiming that alcohol hurts his vocal cords. Soren hears about how Max drank beer like a champ and invites him to a kissing party at his house. When presented with the opportunity to kiss Brixlee at a party hosted by popular student Soren, the guys are again in a dilemma as none of them have ever kissed before. They try to look on the internet, but don't find anything. They visit a pornographic site, where they watch a sex video which traumatizes them, plus there is no kissing in it. Next, they try kissing a sex doll which belonged to Lucas' father, but think it is a CPR doll. But even this does not work, and Max says that they need to see real people kissing. Max says that his neighbor is a Nymphomaniac which he thinks means someone who has sex on land and the sea. Max and friends try to peek through Hannah's fence but that does not work. Max and his friends use his father's valued drone to spy on his teenage neighbor Hannah (Molly Gordon) in an attempt to learn proper kissing. Lucas warns Max against this course of action, but Thor eggs him on saying that Max would not want to go to Soren's party without knowing how to kiss. The plan goes awry when the guy's jostle over the control of drone and this results in the drone landing at Hannah's pool, where she captures it. The guys go over the Hannah's, who was hosting her friend Lily, to get the drone back. The girls trap the guys, and they confess everything. Hannah refuse to return the drone. In retaliation, Thor steals a bag full of stuff from Hannah's kitchen counter. Max, Lucas, and Thor land in possession of Hannah's sex-ecstasy drug which they stole from her house, when they went to beg for their drone back. Luckily, the guys are unable to open the bottle for the pills and hence are not able to sample it themselves. Hannah calls and asks for her phone back and an exchange is scheduled. At the exchange, Lily threatens the boys for the drugs, which is when they realize that the pills are drugs and refuse to give it back. Max acts smart and activates the drone and flies it away from Hannah's hand, but it only ends up flying straight into a school bus. This results in the drone being destroyed. To avoid getting grounded, the three boys skip school to buy a new drone at the local mall, with Hannah and her friend Lily (Midori Francis) in pursuit. But they don't have any money, and thus plan to sell Lucas's baseball card which is worth almost $600. They still haven't managed to get rid of the drugs. At the last-minute Lucas gets cold feet and doesn't want to sell his card. So they end up selling Thor's dad's sex doll instead for the roughly the same amount of money. On the way to the mall, the boys stop at a convenience store where a cop also walks in. Lucas panics and hands over the drugs to the cop, who mistakes it for vitamins. Amid a series of escapades, Max, Lucas, and Thor reach the mall, but learn that Hannah and Lily bought the drone and will only give it to the boys in exchange for their ecstasy. Having surrendered the drugs to a police officer, the boys manage to obtain new ecstasy from Hannah's ex-boyfriend, Benji (Josh Caras), and trade it for the drone. Nevertheless, Max is unable to prevent his father from finding out that he used the drone and is grounded. An argument ensues between the friends and the three go their separate ways, although Max takes the blame for what transpired to prevent Lucas and Thor from getting in trouble. When Lucas speaks to his parents about the potential end of his friendships, they advise him that he, Max, and Thor are growing apart. That night, Lucas convinces Max to sneak out to attend the party, tricking Max and Thor into meeting up again in the process. Max successfully kisses Brixlee while Lucas and Thor re-encounter Hannah and Lily, the latter revealed as Soren's sister, who encourage Thor to continue his passion for singing. In the ensuing weeks, Thor lands the role of Stacee Jaxx in the school's amateur production of Rock of Ages, Lucas joins the anti-bullying group at the school, and after his relationships with Brixlee and then her friend Taylor (Macie Juiles) end in heartbreak, Max begins dating his classmate Scout (Zoriah Wong). Following a performance of the school musical, Max, Lucas, and Thor reconcile and promise to remain in each other's lives.

`This Is The End` follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events that devastate Los Angeles. In 1937, a soldier (Bill Hader) in a military facility (which is underground and hidden in the middle of nowhere) is being observed through a two-way mirror smoking marijuana and revealing in his euphoria what he hates about the army. The soldier complains that the army has all men, not enough women, is too secretive, and wants to share "item 9" (code for marijuana) with the whole world. A high-ranking officer closes the project, disposes of the soldier and deems marijuana illegal. Seventy years later in 2007, Dale Denton (Seth Rogen), a subpoena server wants marijuana to be made legal as he argues that everyone loves smoking weed. Dale says that marijuana makes everything better like food, music, sex and even bad movies. Dale believes that the current system is putting money in hands of the criminals and is forcing ordinary people to deal with the criminals. Dale is 25 and is dating an 18-year-old high school girl named Angela. Angela wants Dale to visit her parents, but he keeps making excuses about work. Meanwhile Angela's lab partner Clark (Arthur Napiontek) is hitting on Angela. Dale promises Angela that he will drop by for dinner with her parents that night. Dale visits his drug dealer, Saul Silver (James Franco), to buy marijuana. Saul sells Dale a Pac of the Pineapple express blend, a rare kind of strain that recently hit the market. Saul brags that he is the only dealer in town to have this strain of weed. Saul lures Dale to smoke a joint with him. While talking, Saul learns that Dale is a process server and has to wear disguises to serve legal papers to their intended recipients in person. Saul says he may know Dale's next customer, to whom Dale is serving some court papers, Ted Jones (Gary Cole). Saul buys his supply from Red, who buys it from Ted. At Ted's house, Dale is waiting outside to finish his joint when a police car pulls up. Dale witnesses Ted and a police officer, Carol Brazier (Rosie Perez), shoot and kill a rival Korean gangster. While fleeing, Dale leaves behind his roach (joint) containing Pineapple Express, the rare strain of marijuana he just purchased from Saul. Ted identifies the strain and sends his henchmen Budlofsky (Kevin Corrigan) and Matheson (Craig Robinson) to Red (Danny McBride), a dealer who tells them about Saul. Dale rushes back to Saul & at his apartment, Dale learns Ted is a drug lord and could trace the roach (as only Red and Saul have the Pineapple Express strain). Dale and Saul decide they must flee the city. They attempt to hide in the woods where Dale's car battery dies. Dale and Saul visit Red, who was already working with Budlofsky and had ratted Saul out. Red reveals that Ted knows who they are and intends to kill them. Dale and Saul escape, as Budlofsky comes in. Budlofsky and Matheson torture Red for information and both shoot him in the abdomen. Ted orders Budlovsky to kill Red. Meanwhile the Korean gang members are outside Ted's house and listening to all his conversations. Believing Dale's high-school girlfriend Angie to be in danger, he and Saul travel to her home. Dale shows up for dinner at his girlfriend's Angie (Amber Heard) parents' house and obviously it goes bad as Dale is bleeding and he stinks. Angie's dad pulls out his shotgun and starts shooting at Dale & Saul, but Dale manages to convince him to calm down. As Budlofsky reaches Angie's house (tracking Dale's car), Dale and Saul leave. Angie's family goes to a hotel. Meanwhile Ted and Carol talk to the Korean mob boss Cheung (Dana Lee) and tell him that his assassin is dead. Ted promises retaliation if Cheung does not withdraw Dale. Ted thinks Dale is another assassin sent by Cheung. Cheng decides to attack Ted. Dale and Saul decide they must leave the city. They sell Pineapple Express to raise bus fare, but Dale is arrested by Police Liaison Officer Bobbra (Cleo King). Dale tells Bobbra that he witnessed Brazier and Ted murder a man. Bobbra has long been suspicious of Brazier's corruption and says she will investigate. However, Saul, thinking that it is Brazier driving, hijacks the police car. Brazier hears on police radio of Dale's arrest and pursues Dale and Saul in a high-speed chase, but they escape. After Dale and Saul argue, they call each other stupid and the main reason of why they both are in this mess. Dale and Saul split up, and Saul is kidnapped. Budlofsky was waiting at Saul's grandmother's retirement home, when Saul visited her. Saul is held in Ted's lair beneath the same military facility from 1937. Dale enlists Red's help to rescue Saul. Red had miraculously survived 2 gunshots to his body and arms himself and Dale and drives Dale to the lair where Saul has been kept. Red backs out at the last minute and Dale is captured by Budlofsky. While Dale and Saul are waiting to be killed, they reconcile and plan an escape. Korean mobsters attack the barn to avenge their fellow gangster's death, the murder that Dale witnessed. Dale and Saul free themselves but are caught by Matheson (Craig Robinson). Matheson is Budlofsky's assistant and has been working with this entire time. A brawl ensues between the attacking Asians and Ted's forces who retaliate. There are heavy casualties on both sides. Saul takes on Brazier, while Dale combats Ted. Both manage to come out on top, but Matheson has the gun on Saul. Red reappears and drives his car through the barn, killing Matheson and saving Saul, but is shot by Brazier. A mobster sets off a bomb killing Ted and setting fire to the barn. Red's car explodes and lands on Brazier, killing her. Dale carries Saul from the burning barn and Red, wounded but still alive, also escapes and reconciles with them. They talk about their adventure over breakfast at a diner before Saul's grandmother picks them up and takes them to the hospital.

Michael joins Seth when he comes to know about Becca (Martha Mac Isaac) , who he has liked ever since their childhood is also going tyo be present there. But they only have few hours to find booze but where are they going to find it? At this exact time enter Mclovin (Christopher Mintz Plasse) is nerdy guy with fake ID but dressed to kill. However two cops portrayed by Seth Rogen and Bill Hader, gets in his way. While Seth and Evan are left on their own to find alcohol.
