Jeevan (Kunchacko Boban) and Salim (Biju Menon) are taxi drivers in the Gulf. In spite of having great responsibilities in their life, they have sweet dreams to fulfill. They live in a small apartment which they share with Kumar (Neeraj Madhav), a salesman in a supermarket. Meanwhile, a Sri Lankan Tamil girl Thamara enters their life and they are forced to accommodate her in their apartment. The resulting humorous events when a girl stays with three bachelors are plotted in `Madhura Naranga`.

The movie revolves around Jayamohan, a business magnate, who leads a hectic life. Things start going topsy-turvy when he gets married to Anjali. He begins facing problems that affect his business as well. Lailaa-o-Lailaa is the second collaboration of the Joshiy-Mohanlal-Amala trio after the success of Run Baby Run. Renowned Bollywood scriptwriter Suresh Nair of Kahaani fame debuts in Malayalam with the film.

During the Walpurgis Night in the woods adjacent to Passo Borgo, at the foot of the Carpathian mountains, a couple of young lovers, Tania and Milos, secretly meet. On her way home, Tania is chased and overcome by a ``dark shadow`` that kills her. In those days Jonathan Harker, a young librarian, arrives at the village hired by Count Dracula, a nobleman from the area. Tania`s body mysteriously disappears from the cemetery. In the meantime Harker, before going to Count Dracula`s castle, takes the opportunity to visit Lucy Kisslinger, his wife Mina`s best friend as well as the daughter of the local mayor. Upon arriving at the castle, Harker is greeted by Tania, brought back to life from the dead and made vampire, who tries from the very beginning to seduce him; however they are interrupted by Dracula`s entrance welcoming Harker. The following night Tania tries again to bite Harker, she is close to his neck when she is stopped by the count who gets the upper hand and it is he himself who bites Harker`s neck, however allowing him to live. The following day, weakened but still conscious Harker attempts to escape, but as soon as he is outside the castle a large wolf with a white lock assaults and savagely kills him. Meanwhile, Mina, Harker`s wife, arrives in the village and is guest for a few days at the home of her dearest friend Lucy Kisslinger, who will also be bitten and vampirized. The day after, Mina, worried about her husband, goes to Count Dracula`s castle. Their encounter makes her forget the reason for her presence there. She is completely under the count`s influence; the count had orchestrated the events leading up to their encounter; in fact Mina looks exactly like his beloved Dolinger, who died some centuries ago. Upon her return to the Kisslinger house, Mina learns of the death of her dear friend Lucy. The sequence of such strange and dramatic events summons the aid of Van Helsing, vampire expert of the techniques used to eliminate them. Van Helsing, aware of the circumstances decides to act swiftly and prepares the tools needed to combat vampires. He directs himself to the center of evil, Count Dracula`s castle. Meanwhile Dracula, in the village, kills the inhabitants who rescinded their pact, while Van Helsing, inside the castle, is able to definitively eliminate Tania. Dracula, intent on his desire to reunite with his beloved wife, leads Mina, completely hypnotized, to the castle where Van Helsing is waiting. He has decided to engage in a deadly fight with his evil foe. During the struggle Van Helsing loses his gun with the silver bullet and Mina, still under Dracula`s spell, gathers it and tries to aid Dracula, but she misses the target and involuntarily kills him. The special silver bullet transforms Dracula into ashes; but his spirit lifts the ashes into the air and uniting, they shape into a large bat with a mocking grin...

Arivu (Bala) and Uma (Vishakha) attempt suicide by consuming poison before they depart on separate trains to escape Arivu`s father Mandakalai (Sai Kumar) who doesn`t approve of their relationship. The plot thickens when both of them survive the attempt but consider the other dead.

This family comedy is directed by Sabapathy Dhakshinamurthy and stars Prabhu, Navdeep, Arvind, Saranya Mohan, and Monica and revolves around a doting father, his daughter and the man she will marry. The story also involves the daughter`s friend and the blooming of a beautiful love story. V M C Haneefa plays a drunken father, whose dutiful son shines throughout the movie. Guru is an MBA student who is diagnosed with ESP. Since all his visions come true, he runs away to Mumbai when he sees himself stabbing his girlfriend. Unfortunately, he has a lookalike who's a crook. Gurumoorthy (Vijay) is an Master of Business Administration (MBA) college student and is an athlete. He participates in a state level running competition where he meets Sriman who also participates in the competition. Guru understands that Sriman needs to win the competition which will help him secure a job through sports quota as he is the only bread winner for his family. Abinaya (Shriya Saran) is the daughter of a rich businessman Anand Chelliah (Ashish Vidyarthi) and is a friend of Sriman's sister. Abinaya challenges Guru that Sriman will be the winner of the competition. Guru decides to run slowly so that Sriman can become the winner. Later Abi understands that Guru has purposefully run slow behind Sriman and starts liking his character. They become good friends and slowly love blossoms between the two. Suddenly, Guru visualizes a few bizarre incidents which also occur sometime later. Guru consults a psychiatrist and he says that Guru suffers from a syndrome called Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) whereby he can get to know about certain future incidents. Guru worries that such thoughts disturb him mentally and he cannot live a peaceful life. Guru and Abi's parents get to know about their love and they plan to get the couple married. One day, Guru dreams of stabbing Abi and gets frightened that Abi will be killed by himself someday. So he decides to stay away from Abi for a few days and leaves to Mumbai without informing anyone. During the train journey, he sees Prasad (also Vijay), a fradulent bank employee from Mumbai, getting down in a station. Now Guru believes that it would be Prasad, a look alike of Guru, who will stab Abi and follows Prasad. But while crossing a road, Guru meets with an accident and gets hospitalized by the local people. Meanwhile Abi starts looking for Guru as he has not contacted her for a few days. Now, Abi meets Prasad in a shopping mall and mistakes him as Guru. Abi talks to Prasad and takes him to her home. Prasad is money minded and a womanizer, who was once born with a rich and wealthy lifestyle, only for it to end, when his parents died in a plane accident and their business partners took all the money away. Prasad understands that he has a look alike and Abi has mistaken him as her lover. Prasad decides to utilize the opportunity and plan to get married to Abi, so that he can lead a lavish lifestyle, with the help of a corrupt jeweler (Sayaji Shinde) . Guru gets discharged from the hospital and tries to contact Abi. He also comes to Chennai to meet Abi at her house. Now everyone is shocked seeing Guru and Prasad as they both look exactly similar and Abi is confused unable to find who is Guru. Prasad pretends as Guru and makes everyone believe. They conduct a running race to find the real Guru, as Guru is an athlete. But as Guru is not well due to his accident from Mumbai, Prasad wins the race which makes Abi believe Prasad as Guru. The next day, while Abi talks to Prasad, she finds that he misinterprets an event occurred before which makes her realize that it is Prasad who is with her and not Guru. She tries running away from Prasad while Prasad chases her. Guru comes to the rescue and tries to kill Prasad. When Guru is about to stab Prasad, he moves and Abi gets stabbed by Guru. Guru is shocked and Prasad beats up Guru and takes Abi with him. Prasad admits Abi in a hospital and again pretends as Guru. Abi believes that Prasad is Guru. Abi tells that how come someone is try to taking away a girl who is in love with someone else and she says that Prasad must not have born to legitimate parents. Prasad realizing his cheap behaviour, upon hearing this and confesses that he is Prasad and not Guru. Meanwhile Guru also rushes to the hospital. Prasad apologizes to Guru and Abi and leaves the place. On the way, he meets Dhanalakshmi (Namitha) whom he met during the train journey and unites with her.

Sivakaasi (Vijay) is a short tempered youth working at a welding center, who has fallen in love with Hema (Asin). Her family accepts him as a do-gooder, in spite of his impulsiveness. However, one day, he thrashes Hema`s brother making Hema yell at him. At this, Sivakaasi is compelled to narrate his past to Hema. His past does not pacify Hema completely, but she only says that she will marry no one but him only after he gets the approval of his family. Now, Sivakaasi, who has been growing up like an orphan so far must return to his roots to make things right and to tie the ends he had left loose years ago.
