Quiet and nerdy Jude attends a party at his friend David's home with his friend Kent. He spends the time waiting for his girlfriend Nell and being bullied by Derek and June. Bored, he and Kent wander the empty house. In the master bedroom closet he finds a deck of playing cards with photos of nude women on them. One catches his attention, he is positive the woman in the photo is his mother. Derek, June, and other kids enter the large empty closet. Derek begins a game of 'Seven in Heaven', with winning cards sending Jude and June to sit for seven minutes in a just discovered secret closet. While waiting June offers to fool around with Jude, despite them both having significant others. Upon exiting the closet they discover they have traveled to an alternate reality, more violent and dangerous than home. Jude and June are quickly separated by the rowdy party, Jude being beaten up by a crowd in the closet and June running away to get a drink. Jude escapes and heads home, where he is attacked by his father, who in his reality is dead. His parents reveal he has been accused of murdering his acquaintance Derek. When he runs to his bedroom he finds that this dimension's version of himself is dark and violent. His bedroom is adorned with heavy metal posters, goth clothing, and disturbing photos. As the police are looking for him he escapes out his bedroom window. He is soon found by his guidance counselor, Mr. Wallace, who is oddly informed about this dimension and that Jude does not belong there. He punches Jude, and at first tries to put him in the trunk of his car. When Jude does not fit, he instead shoves him into his back seat. He directs Jude to leave the dimension as soon as possible through the closet he came from, dropping him off at David's home. Jude sneaks past David and his parent to the master bedroom and enters the closet, where he sets a timer for seven minutes. While waiting he retrieves a pencil from his pocket and scratches 'GET ME HOME' above the door. When he exits the closet again he discovers he is still trapped in the alternate dimension. He decides to look for June in the hope that if they try leaving through the closet together they will return home. He finds June's address and is tackled by her outside her home. She was hiding in a tree from men that attacked her after she left the closet. Jude explains they are in another dimension but June does not believe him. He suggests she look around her home for proof, where she finds family photos she does not remember taking, and her sister, who in her dimension is at boarding school, in her bedroom. Her sister attacks her and attempts to smother her to death with a pillow. Jude hears the struggling and bursts into the room, separating the sisters. He and June run outside, hiding from passing cars as they try to come up with a plan to get home. Mr. Wallace drives by them, and again stops to help. Jude and June at first hide from him, but a phone call from Jude's mother alerts him to their presence. He directs them again to try the closet a second time now that they are back together. Jude states he cannot access Davids house since the police are searching for him. Mr. Wallace drives them to David's home and somehow is able to convince the police, David, and David's parents, to let Jude and June in and to the closet. They enter again, and while they wait have sex for three minutes. In the remaining four minutes Jude comments that it was his first time, and is unsure if he performed well. June responds that it was not her first time, and he did fine. In their home reality Jude and June's friends have opened the closet and discovered it empty. The house is searched for them but no one can explain how they disappeared. Kent and Derek try calling them but both numbers have an out of service recording. The party continues during this, including the arrival of the police due to a noise disturbance call. David reassures the police they will be quiet and the officer leaves. Nell arrives and is told by Kent that Jude and June are missing. Kent sits in the closet for seven minutes and has a vision of Jude being beaten up. He realizes that Jude and June are not in their dimension anymore and are in trouble. He convinces Nell to sit in the closet as well, but she only has a small vision of Jude and June in the closet, hearing June offer for Jude to touch her. She does not believe that they have disappeared. The police return to David's house because of another noise complaint. They ask to come in, Kent refuses as they do not have a warrant. The police sit outside, frustrated they have no legal way to enter the home. Inside, David, Kent, and the rest of the party begin cleaning up the mess they created. Kent warns everyone not to leave, or they will be arrested and their parents called. A few younger teenagers sneak out the back and are promptly arrested, proving Kent's point. The police resort to calling the parents of several students. As parents arrive they demand their children come outside, threatening various punishments. The teenagers still refuse, quietly attempting to wait out the police and their parents. In the alternate dimension, Jude and June have waited inside the closet again for seven minutes. Opening the door they find David's house completely empty and quiet. Jude and June begin to walk home. Jude's mom calls him, asking where he is. She tells him she tried to pick him up from the party but no one was there. He asks where everyone is but she replies that it is late and that he come straight home. Suddenly a car appears behind them. Recognizing the car as Mr. Wallace, the car revs and speeds towards them as they try to run away. Eventually they escape, but are lost, unable to find David's house, wandering various empty streets. They realize they are in a new, different dimension. Jude receives a call from Nell, who tells him to come to Kent's house. Kent's home is dark and seemingly empty. Following a dim light they walk through a kitchen and to a set of stairs leading down. Suddenly Kent, Nell, Derek, and other classmates appear. Derek says they will play another game, similar to Truth or Dare, called Lie or Die. June says that Jude never touched her as they are led into an auditorium. Everyone in seated as a projector screen shows June's sister. She is then smothered to death by a pillow since June lied about what happened in the closet between her and Jude. Then Jude told them a truth that his dad died from a car accident, then he is shown on the screen that deer rammed in on the driver side. The questions continue, a scared and angry Jude flips the game on the crowd. He and June end up asking the crowd questions, the game working in their favor. The crowd gets angry and charges at them, as they escape through a back door and eventually out back into the street. They are found again by Mr. Wallace, and convince him to take them back to the house to escape through the closet. Mr. Wallace explains that this dimension is where everyone's worst thoughts take over. The crowd continues to follow them as they speed toward the house and Jude concocts a plan to help them get home. In their home dimension, David and the rest of the party watch from the windows as a crowd of parents and police wait. David's grandmother arrives with a spare key to enter the house. She unlocks the door, inviting everyone in as she leaves. In the alternate dimension, Jude and June are escaping into the house while Mr. Wallace helps them by burning down the house to "reset" the game. The angry crowd is stopped outside, watching as the house burns. Jude explains how the house burning will help them get home, convincing June that they will get home. They struggle to breathe in the smoke filled room as the clock counts down. Back home, the police are releasing each kid to their parents. It is light outside. Jude and June's parents wait outside, worried about their missing children. Jude and June carefully leave the closet, discovering the house empty and daylight outside. On the lawn the crowd of teenagers, parents, and police stare at them as they walk hand in hand. Jude asks for the crowd to give them a few moments of silence, during which he exclaims that he did not kill Derek, as well as asking Kent if they are friends. They discover they are home, and that their friends have been searching for them all night. Mr. Wallace arrives and welcomes them home. Unbeknownst to everyone, Derek has gone inside and entered the closet. A police officer goes inside to search for him. Derek is shown in the closet having visions of June and Jude making love, followed by Jude stabbing him in the shoulder. The officer opens the secret closet as the light bulb burns out, finding it empty except for the bloody pencil Jude had dropped there. This ironically creates the implication that Jude will once again occupy a reality where he is suspected to have killed Derek.

In the opening scene, Hope Ann Greggory (Melissa Rauch) snorts some allergy medicine in a room filled with trophies and then watches a VHS tape of her competing at the Rome Summer Olympics 12 years earlier. After falling, she ruptures her Achilles heel but still finishes her routine, earning her a third-place bronze medal. Wearing the medal, Hope begins to masturbate to this footage of herself. Her father Stan (Gary Cole) calls to tell her dinner's ready but she screams at him. She is established as a foul-mouthed woman with an Ohioan accent who perpetually wears her Team USA jacket. Hope heads out, first stopping by the mail truck her father drives for a living. She opens a handful of birthday cards and steals the cash inside. Her first stop is Sbarro Pizza at the mall's food court, where she orders a Mountain Dew (the employee asks if she wants Diet like most women but she rudely tells him she didn't say Diet). When she is charged $9.30 for the meal, the owner comes by and points out that she's on the wall -- where an autographed picture of her is hanging. Thus her meals are always on the house. Hope is revealed to be a major celebrity in her small town of Amherst, Ohio, with the city sign even boasting that "Bronze Medalist Hope Ann Gregory" lives there. This special treatment carries over to the local soda shop she often eats at, complete with her own reserved parking spot. While drinking a milkshake, a young gymnast, named Maggie Townsend (Haley Lu Richardson), and the gym manager named Ben (Thomas Middleditch) spot Hope through the window. Maggie does an impressive routine outside the window and then enters, gushing about how she's a big fan of Hope's. Hope recognizes Ben as being "Twitchy", a kid she used to torment over his facial tic, which he still has; he seems to have always had a crush on her. Maggie tells Hope she's a gymnast training with the same coach and that Hope has been an inspiration to her since her father died at five years old. Hope replies by bragging that her mother died when she was a baby. When Hope returns home, her dad politely tells her she can't steal from his mail truck anymore. Stan tells her she should get a job coaching gymnastics and she points out that she was currently on "Dancing with the Stars" and is a star, not a coach. Nonetheless, he suggests retracting her weekly allowance. She balks at this, complaining that she needs that $700 a week to get by. They settle down with him holding a DAD'S GREATEST DAD mug that she made for him in grade school. They watch television in which it's revealed that the coach who trained Hope to the Olympics has killed herself. Hope is nonchalant in response to this, saying she hates the coach. The next day, Hope goes to meet her drug dealer to score some weed. She tries to steal from her dad's mail truck again but it now has a lock on it. After she gets the hook-up, she comes home to learn that her father has received a letter, stipulating that in her former coach's will, Hope was left half a million dollars, on the condition she coach Maggie to the Olympic games, regardless of how she places. Hope reads the letter and tells him it says $500,000, not half a million. Yet she decides to take up the offer. She stops by Maggie's trailer home and meets her mom (Cecily Strong) and tries to convince her to let her train Maggie. They both agree, excitedly, as they are fans of hers. Maggie points out she needs a ride to the gym because she is too young to drive. She says she usually gets there by 7:00 AM but Hope promises to pick her up around noon. Their first training session, Hope goes out of her way to sabotage Maggie's chances of success. She encourages her to binge on junk food, pointing out that male athletes do the same thing in other sports. A boy flirts with Maggie and instead of telling her not to get distracted, Hope demands that Maggie be intimate with him. When they arrive at the gym, Ben/Twitchy is there. Hope says she's going to give her a new routine even though Maggie already has one she's been working on with her former coach. She asks Maggie if she knows what the strongest part of her has to be to win -- Maggie guesses mental constitution but Hope corrects her, "Your mind," which is the same thing. Instead of actually running through the routine, Hope encourages her to lay down and visualize her performing it; she never runs through the actual routine. The next day, they have to get to the gym early because a committee member is going to arrive to evaluate Maggie. Hope blends some weed into a green smoothie she's making for Maggie and then decides to throw in the whole bag. She tells Maggie that she must drink the whole thing. When they arrive at the studio, Maggie's eyes are bloodshot and she runs around the gym, completely high. Ben is disappointed and questions whether Hope is the best coach for her. Lance Tucker (Sebastian Stan) arrives; he is an equally conceded gymnast-turned-coach who won gold and silver at the Olympics and bickers with Hope. He took her virginity right after she won the bronze medal and they are now sworn enemies. Hope decides to quit her training and calls her dad at home, asking if she'll still get the money if she doesn't finish the task. She is told the conditions explicitly state that she has to succeed or she gets nothing. Because of this, Hope decides to change her tune -- she finds Maggie and her mom at home, talking to Stan who tries to encourage Maggie's mom to let him coach instead. Surprisingly, Maggie and her mom decide to stick with Hope. Hope tries a different approach -- she encourages Maggie to stop kissing the boy she initially told her to. She puts her on a strict diet but tells her to sniff Hope's nachos before eating her celery stick, a trick she knew from her own gymnastics days. She gives Maggie pointers on how to do a cutesy routine to impress the judges. And how to stick a landing. Impressed, Ben begins to like the new Hope and the two decide to go out on a date. He takes her to the mall food court from before but after hours, using a kiosk selling candles to spark a mood. They play Truth or Dare and she dares him to steal a punch card from one of the restaurants -- and then to punch them out so she gets a free meal. Eventually the game gets more serious where she talks about how crushed she was when she finished rehabilitating from her broken leg and was told by her now deceased coach that she was a has-been and her career is over. Maggie makes it into the nationals in Toronto, Canada and everyone gears up to attend except Maggie's mom who has to stay home and work. Ben and Hope continue getting closer and Lance is there, too. An interviewer asks Hope if she is coaching because she is no longer a star and Hope gets upset. She later admits to Ben that she's afraid that if Maggie succeeds, she won't be the city's local celebrity anymore. He tells her he thinks it's great that she's coaching Maggie especially since the gymnastics studio isn't going to be around much longer because of money problems. He suspects that this is why the studio's owner killed herself because she was going through hardships financially and was broke. Hope now realizes that she doesn't have $500,000 to pay her. Hope finds her dad in her hotel room and demands to know if the letter was real. Stan finally admits that he falsified the document to encourage Hope to get a job and make something of herself. She is angry with him but for the first time, he stands up to her, calling her a "spoiled bitch". Upset, Hope gets drunk in at a bar and Lance begins to flirt with her. Back in her motel room, they have a hot five-minute sex session, which includes them doing gymnastics moves in the fully in the nude (i.e., he does moves on her like she's a pommel horse; she does a front flip into a handstand and they 69). It ends with her holding onto rings while he bangs her against the window. Ben is in the parking lot and sees this happening. The next day, Ben is livid with her and tells her he saw her having sex. He wants nothing to do with her, which crushes Hope. Lance admits that he's always hated her and he had sex with her so he could ruin her relationship with Ben. He wants to take Maggie to the Olympics and steal Hope's small town celebrity away from her. Maggie is about to perform her routine. Hope sees Maggie's mom high in the stands; she asks Hope to tell Maggie she's there. Hope finds Maggie ready to perform for the judges; she begins to tell her 'Your mom--" and stops. Maggie asks, "What about my mom?" Hope replies: "She won't be here because she was killed in a plane crash." Maggie begins to cry and when she goes to perform, she can't do it as she's too upset. However.... this is all just a fantasy in Hope's mind -- she tells Maggie the truth that her mom is there as a surprise, which makes Maggie smile. She gives a great performance and goes on to win a gold medal, allowing her to move on to the Olympics. Back in Amherst, the town now changes the sign to "Home of Maggie Townsend, gold medalist" and a smaller sign, "and Hope Ann Greggory, bronze medalist." Everything Hope feared has come true. At the local soda shop, Hope watches on TV as Maggie holds a press conference, telling her she couldn't have done it without her coach, Hope Ann Greggory... but then adds that being a gold medalist is going to be much more effective on her path to Olympics and announces she'll be moving to Los Angeles and trained by Lance instead. The soda shop owner calls Maggie a bitch and Hope acts somber. Hope then walks out after paying for her milkshake. At the local mall, kids are lined up to get an autograph from Maggie who is a no show because she has moved out of town. Hope stands on the table and gives a speech to the kids using foul language but encouraging them to join the local gymnastics studio. Ben shows up to the gymnasium, which is slated to close, but instead finds a swarm of girls and their moms outside. Hope is selling them gym clothes and T-shirts and says she won't be granting any change; all profits will go to keeping the studio around. In the final scene set several months later, the gymnasium is still open and Hope is now the official coach in town teaching gymnastics to young girls. The city changes the sign back to simply "home of bronze medalist Hope Ann Greggory." But Hope isn't that great of a coach. During a lunch break, an ice cream truck comes by and Hope sends all the athletes outside to get some for themselves. In a post write subtitle sequence, we're told that Maggie didn't win a gold medal at the next Summer Olympics, and had to quit gymnastics after having Lance's baby. Also, that none of the girls that Hope trained at her new gym ever went on to win a medal at any event.

Tammy (Melissa McCarthy) is having a bad day. She`s totaled her clunker car, gotten fired from her thankless job at a greasy burger joint, and instead of finding comfort at home, finds her husband, Greg (Nat Faxon) getting comfortable with the neighbor, Missi (Toni Collette) in her own house. It`s time to take her boom box and book it. The bad news is she`s broke and without wheels. The worse news is her grandma, Pearl (Susan Sarandon), is her only optionwith a car, cash, and an itch to see Niagara Falls. Not exactly the escape Tammy had in mind. But on the road, with grandma riding shot gun, it may be just what Tammy needs.

Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, Hop is a comedy about E.B (voiced by Russel Brand), the teenage son of Easter Bunny. On the eve of taking over the family business, E.B leaves for Hollywood in pursuit of his dream of becoming a drummer. He encounters Fred (James Marsden), out-of-work slacker with his own lofty goals, who accidentally hits E.B with his car. Feigning injury, E.B manipulates Fred into providing him shelter, and Fred finds himself with the world`s worst houseguest.

This is a re-make of the much under-appreciated, but classic Spencer Tracy movie Bad Day at Black Rock (1955).

In 1937, a soldier (Bill Hader) in a military facility (which is underground and hidden in the middle of nowhere) is being observed through a two-way mirror smoking marijuana and revealing in his euphoria what he hates about the army. The soldier complains that the army has all men, not enough women, is too secretive, and wants to share "item 9" (code for marijuana) with the whole world. A high-ranking officer closes the project, disposes of the soldier and deems marijuana illegal. Seventy years later in 2007, Dale Denton (Seth Rogen), a subpoena server wants marijuana to be made legal as he argues that everyone loves smoking weed. Dale says that marijuana makes everything better like food, music, sex and even bad movies. Dale believes that the current system is putting money in hands of the criminals and is forcing ordinary people to deal with the criminals. Dale is 25 and is dating an 18-year-old high school girl named Angela. Angela wants Dale to visit her parents, but he keeps making excuses about work. Meanwhile Angela's lab partner Clark (Arthur Napiontek) is hitting on Angela. Dale promises Angela that he will drop by for dinner with her parents that night. Dale visits his drug dealer, Saul Silver (James Franco), to buy marijuana. Saul sells Dale a Pac of the Pineapple express blend, a rare kind of strain that recently hit the market. Saul brags that he is the only dealer in town to have this strain of weed. Saul lures Dale to smoke a joint with him. While talking, Saul learns that Dale is a process server and has to wear disguises to serve legal papers to their intended recipients in person. Saul says he may know Dale's next customer, to whom Dale is serving some court papers, Ted Jones (Gary Cole). Saul buys his supply from Red, who buys it from Ted. At Ted's house, Dale is waiting outside to finish his joint when a police car pulls up. Dale witnesses Ted and a police officer, Carol Brazier (Rosie Perez), shoot and kill a rival Korean gangster. While fleeing, Dale leaves behind his roach (joint) containing Pineapple Express, the rare strain of marijuana he just purchased from Saul. Ted identifies the strain and sends his henchmen Budlofsky (Kevin Corrigan) and Matheson (Craig Robinson) to Red (Danny McBride), a dealer who tells them about Saul. Dale rushes back to Saul & at his apartment, Dale learns Ted is a drug lord and could trace the roach (as only Red and Saul have the Pineapple Express strain). Dale and Saul decide they must flee the city. They attempt to hide in the woods where Dale's car battery dies. Dale and Saul visit Red, who was already working with Budlofsky and had ratted Saul out. Red reveals that Ted knows who they are and intends to kill them. Dale and Saul escape, as Budlofsky comes in. Budlofsky and Matheson torture Red for information and both shoot him in the abdomen. Ted orders Budlovsky to kill Red. Meanwhile the Korean gang members are outside Ted's house and listening to all his conversations. Believing Dale's high-school girlfriend Angie to be in danger, he and Saul travel to her home. Dale shows up for dinner at his girlfriend's Angie (Amber Heard) parents' house and obviously it goes bad as Dale is bleeding and he stinks. Angie's dad pulls out his shotgun and starts shooting at Dale & Saul, but Dale manages to convince him to calm down. As Budlofsky reaches Angie's house (tracking Dale's car), Dale and Saul leave. Angie's family goes to a hotel. Meanwhile Ted and Carol talk to the Korean mob boss Cheung (Dana Lee) and tell him that his assassin is dead. Ted promises retaliation if Cheung does not withdraw Dale. Ted thinks Dale is another assassin sent by Cheung. Cheng decides to attack Ted. Dale and Saul decide they must leave the city. They sell Pineapple Express to raise bus fare, but Dale is arrested by Police Liaison Officer Bobbra (Cleo King). Dale tells Bobbra that he witnessed Brazier and Ted murder a man. Bobbra has long been suspicious of Brazier's corruption and says she will investigate. However, Saul, thinking that it is Brazier driving, hijacks the police car. Brazier hears on police radio of Dale's arrest and pursues Dale and Saul in a high-speed chase, but they escape. After Dale and Saul argue, they call each other stupid and the main reason of why they both are in this mess. Dale and Saul split up, and Saul is kidnapped. Budlofsky was waiting at Saul's grandmother's retirement home, when Saul visited her. Saul is held in Ted's lair beneath the same military facility from 1937. Dale enlists Red's help to rescue Saul. Red had miraculously survived 2 gunshots to his body and arms himself and Dale and drives Dale to the lair where Saul has been kept. Red backs out at the last minute and Dale is captured by Budlofsky. While Dale and Saul are waiting to be killed, they reconcile and plan an escape. Korean mobsters attack the barn to avenge their fellow gangster's death, the murder that Dale witnessed. Dale and Saul free themselves but are caught by Matheson (Craig Robinson). Matheson is Budlofsky's assistant and has been working with this entire time. A brawl ensues between the attacking Asians and Ted's forces who retaliate. There are heavy casualties on both sides. Saul takes on Brazier, while Dale combats Ted. Both manage to come out on top, but Matheson has the gun on Saul. Red reappears and drives his car through the barn, killing Matheson and saving Saul, but is shot by Brazier. A mobster sets off a bomb killing Ted and setting fire to the barn. Red's car explodes and lands on Brazier, killing her. Dale carries Saul from the burning barn and Red, wounded but still alive, also escapes and reconciles with them. They talk about their adventure over breakfast at a diner before Saul's grandmother picks them up and takes them to the hospital.

Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) was born to go fast, and is raised solely by his strict Christian mother, Lucy (Jane Lynch), while his drunk and alcoholic father, Reese (Gary Cole), is absent. When Ricky was only ten years old, Reese shows up during Career Day at Ricky's school, but after giving his vulgar speech, Reese was thrown out of the school. Before leaving, Reese told Ricky: "If you ain't first, you're last!", a quote that Ricky commits to memory. Fifteen years later, while working on the pit crew of Dennit Racing driver Terry Cheveaux (Adam McKay), Ricky replaces him and ends up finishing in third place, despite starting mid-race in last place. Ricky quickly soars to the top of NASCAR, achieving fame and fortune at Dennit Racing and meeting his future wife, Carly (Leslie Bibb). Ricky eventually manages to allow Dennit to field an additional car to the field and arranges to have his best friend, Cal Naughton, Jr. (John C. Reilly) on his team. While on top of the racing world, Ricky is challenged by his rival and French Formula One driver, Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen), who outperforms Ricky on the track and becomes Dennit Racing's next top driver. Ricky, desperate to regain his dominance, pushes himself too hard during the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway and ends up going airborne and his car lands upside down. While paramedics attempt to take Ricky to the hospital, Ricky ends up running around on the track in his helmet and underwear to think that he is on fire. While recovering from his injury, Ricky persists in the belief that he is paralyzed, which he certainly is not, a fact that Ricky only realizes after accidentally sticking a knife in his leg while trying to prove that he is paralyzed. Ricky's tests at Rockingham Speedway shows that he has lost his touch and fails to regain a spot on his team. Carly, yearning to be married to a top NASCAR driver, plans to marry Cal before Ricky returns home that night. Cal invites Ricky to his wedding to Carly, but his invitation is immediately refused by Ricky, who becomes angry and disappointed at Cal for ruining his life. Ricky takes his two sons, Walker and Texas Ranger (Houston Tumlin and Grayson Russell) home and takes his job as a pizza delivery boy, but is reduced to use a bicycle and riding the bus after losing his license for crashing his truck into a customer's shopping cart and into the Sheriff writing him a ticket for the previous incident. With Ricky's life at its lowest point, Reese suddenly re-enters Ricky's life and attempt to teach Ricky to drive by using the fear he experienced throughout his life, using unusual methods to get Ricky back to his normal speed. With his retraining and guidance of Reese, Ricky finally regains his confidence, but is unexpectedly taken back a few steps after Reese leaves him once again. Reese leaves Ricky with the knowledge that the quote based on Ricky's entire life around him was due in part to Reese's alcoholism. When Ricky runs into his assistant, Susan (Amy Adams) at a bar, she convinces Ricky to return to NASCAR not because of his desire to live up to the expectations of those around him, but because of his nature to drive fast. While Ricky heeding Susan's advice to race at the AMP Energy 500, he and Susan fall in love with each other. Ricky eventually manages to make small amends with Cal and Girard before the start of the race. Because the pit crew has rebuilt his engine from spare parts donated by other independent drivers, Ricky is forced to start the race from the back of the starting grid. In no time, Ricky manages to pass all the drivers except Girard. Heading towards the final laps, Cal receives orders from Dennit to get Ricky out of the race, but Cal refuses and instead pulls ahead of Ricky, allowing Ricky to slingshot Cal and ends up in the lead along with Girard. On lap 182, the replacement driver of Ricky's original car runs into Cal from Dennit's orders, causing a massive wreck that collects every driver except Ricky and Girard. On the final lap, Ricky and Girard unexpectedly make contact and somersault down the front straightaway heading towards the finish line. Determined not to give up, Ricky and Girard sprint their foot to the finish line. Although Ricky wins the foot race, he and Girard are disqualified for getting out of their cars, and Cal wins the race by default, having been in third place by the time of the wrecks. Ricky and Cal finally repair their friendship and family. Ricky, Lucy, Susan, and Walker and Texas Ranger later meet together with Reese in the parking lot to reunite for a dinner party during which they plan to get thrown out of Applebee's at the end of the film, referring to the earlier scene where Reese and Ricky leave each other again.

Rachel Keller and her son Aidan move to a small town. When they learn of the murder of a teenager who watched a strange video, Rachel believes Samara has come back to haunt them.

Owen Matthews (Julian Morris) arrives at Westlake Preparatory Academy. That night Owen's roommate, Tom (Jared Padalecki), tells him they are sneaking out. Owen is a new student to the school, having recently been transferred from England. Owen's father Mr Matthews (Gary Cole) is not very interested in checking on Owen while he settles down in his new school. Nobody stays at school for the weekend. Tom tells Owen a Dodger asked him to bring Owen. Dodger had met Owen earlier in the day when he entered the school gates and was searching for his dorm. A group of students consisting of Graham (Ethan Cohn), Mercedes (Sandra McCoy), Lewis (Paul James), Randall (Jesse Janzen), Regina (Kristy Wu), Tom, Dodger (Lindy Booth) and Owen play a game called Cry Wolf. Everybody pools in money. Dodger will secretly pick one person in the group to be the wolf (who will put a mark on their body), and the rest will be sheep. The objective of the game is to find the wolf and convince the rest of the group to vote the wolf out. The one who exposes the wolf gets the money, if the wolf survives, the wolf gets the money. The group has to reveal the wolf by finding out who is lying. Owen is great at spotting the tell-tale signs of someone lying (like Graham trying to take a swig of beer from an empty bottle). Owen was the wolf, but he voted everybody out and won the money. After meeting his new journalism teacher, Mr. Walker (Jon Bon Jovi), Owen and Tom meet everyone for lunch. They discuss the police finding a girl's body, Becky (Erica Yates), after it was dragged through the woods by a wolf. It is shown that Becky was chased by a person with a torch in their hand. Becky was able to hide from her attacker in the dense, dark jungle, but the attacker called Becky's cell phone which rang loudly, thus giving away her position. When her body was found, she was covered by leaves and her fingers were chopped off. The group considers who could have murdered Becky, when Dodger proposes expanding Cry Wolf to the entire school. Dodger says that the best way to play the game is to accuse someone else of being the Wolf. So, Dodge suggests starting a rumor that Becky's killer is on campus. Owen suggests creating a fake e-mail telling everyone about a serial killer who goes from campus to campus killing students on full moon night (which is the coming weekend). They describe the killer as wearing an orange ski mask, a green camouflage jacket, steel toe combat boots, black tactical leather gloves, brandishing a hunting knife or a high-powered handgun. That night, they send out the e-mail. The next day, the entire school has spread the story in the e-mail. Owen receives an instant message from someone using the name "Wolf". Tom and Owen accuse Dodger, but she claims she was studying with Regina. Tom and Owen find their dorm room trashed (but only Tom's side of the room is messed up and Owen's side of the room was left untouched). When the instant messenger comes up on Owen's laptop, they find a piercing stud and blood on Owen's keyboard. Tom blames Regina, who has a recipe for fake blood. When accused, she insists she was on a field trip. Believing Dodger is lying, Owen confronts her. Dodger informs him that she was visiting her mother. Deciding that Randall is behind the odd behavior, Owen tries tracking him down, to no avail. Owen once again seeks out Dodger and finds her kissing Mr. Walker. In his journalism class the next day, when Owen reaches into his bag for supplies, a hunting knife falls out. Mr. Walker escorts Owen to the Headmistress Tinsley's (Anna Deavere Smith) office. Owen tells Mr. Walker that he knows about his relationship with Dodger, and that he will tell the headmistress if Walker reveals the knife. Mr. Walker agrees not to say anything. On the night of Halloween, "Wolf" attacks Owen. Thinking Tom was trying to prank him, Owen goes to leave with Tom's car but sees Wolf behind him. The attacker ends up being Mercedes, who was trying to prove that attackers can be women. The following day, Owen and Mercedes meet with the headmistress, who decides that Owen's fate will be decided over the weekend. The rest of the group is forced to stay at school over the weekend. Owen contacts them to meet in the chapel. Owen, Dodger, Tom, Lewis and Regina meet and try to get to the bottom of the attacks. While Lewis is on the phone, Mercedes is attacked in the bathroom by Wolf. Lewis runs out as Owen tries to call for help. Owen, Regina and Tom find Randall's body in a confessional. Owen goes looking for Dodger, and sees Lewis get attacked. After the group scatters, Owen runs to the parking lot to see that Mr. Walker is still on campus. Owen runs to Mr. Walker's office as his phone starts ringing. Owen answers to Dodger crying on the other end; she has found Mercedes dead. Dodger tells Owen she is coming and can see him through the window. He looks out to see Wolf kill her. Suddenly Mr. Walker enters the room. After noticing that Mr. Walker has a jacket, an orange mask and a knife, Owen shoots him. The door is suddenly opened by Dodger, Tom and Regina. Owen is arrested for murder. The group admits that it was a prank to get Mercedes and Owen back for making them stay on campus. It is discovered that Mr. Walker was involved with Becky, the gun in his desk being the same one that killed her. Dodger visits Owen, who has been released on bail, and says that she would never have played the game if she knew that Mr. Walker was cheating on her, revealing she had organized everything. She had killed Becky because she was jealous of Mr. Walkers relationship with her. She had set up the game, knowing that Owen would blame Mr. Walker for the killings, thereby killing him and making her happy. Owen threatens to report her, to which she replies that no one would believe him.

Rosalee Futch (Kate Bosworth), a Piggly Wiggly supermarket checkout girl in a small West Virginia town, wins a contest for a date with Tad Hamilton (Josh Duhamel), a Hollywood movie star. Tad's agents came up with this contest to change Tad's bad-boy image and help his career in getting another big movie part. A date with the sweet and innocent Rosalee is just the ticket that Tad needs, when he falls in love with her. Tad moves to the small town so he can be near Rosalee, and this drives Tad's agents crazy. Rosalee's best friend, Pete (Topher Grace) finally tells Rosalee that he has loved her his whole life. Rosalee must choose between her lifetime friend Pete or Tad, the rich and famous movie star. Douglas Young (the-movie-guy)

At the Bureau of National Security headquarters, BNS Special Agent Alex Scott (Owen Wilson) is accosted by his rival agent, Carlos (Gary Cole), before being debriefed on his next mission. Scott is assigned to recover a stolen fighter plane sold to arms dealer Arnold Gundars (Malcolm McDowell). The plane is known as the "Switchblade" and is invisible to both radar and the naked eye. The BNS learns that Gundars is sponsoring Middleweight world boxing champion Kelly Robinson (Eddie Murphy)'s next match and is using the event to auction off the plane. The agency has contacted Robinson and assigned him to be the civilian cover for Scott's mission. Scott and Robinson travel to Budapest, where Scott plans to penetrate Gundars' compound during a party taking place that night just before the fight. The duo clashes from the beginning, with Robinson treating Scott as a new member of his entourage. Robinson is initially wary of Scott's penetration plan but is convinced after Scott frightens Robinson while maneuvering the plane and gives Robinson a pair of contacts that allow Robinson to see whatever Scott sees. In Budapest, Robinson is kidnapped after walking off with a local woman and interrogated. Scott bursts in, frees Robinson, and fights the kidnappers before revealing that the entire situation was a test. The woman is Rachel Wright (Famke Janssen), a fellow BNS agent and the object of Scott's affections. At Gundars's party, Robinson replaces Gundars's pen with a duplicate fitted with a tracking device before confronting his European challenger in the party's boxing ring. Scott, posing as a member of Robinson's entourage, uses this as a diversion to enter Gundars' private office and hack his computer. Robinson arrives unexpectedly and trips an alarm. The two are forced to escape, a task hindered by Scott's defective equipment. After a chase spanning much of Budapest, Scott and Robinson manage to evade their pursuers by hiding in a sewer. After returning to base, Robinson coaches Scott into winning the heart of Agent Wright (by feeding him lines from the song, Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye). Scott succeeds but is interrupted by movement on the pen tracking device. He tracks Gundars to a bathhouse, which Scott believes is a dead end. However, Robinson has a hunch that the plane is hidden in the building, leading the two into a fight with Gundars's men. Gundars speeds off in his car, with Wright in hot pursuit. Wright's car explodes, stunning Scott, who blames Robinson for her death. The two engage in a public confrontation that leads to Robinson's arrest. Nonetheless, Scott convinces the BNS that the operation can continue and tracks Gundars down once again. Meanwhile, Robinson clears up his arrest and reaches the arena just in time for his fight, his serious demeanor unnerving his entourage. At the top of a bridge, Scott finds Gundars with terrorists fitting the plane with a nuclear missile. Scott takes the men by surprise and forces them to surrender, before being disarmed by an alive Agent Wright, who reveals she is a double agent. Wright tortures Scott for the Switchblade's activation codes. Scott activates the contact lens gadget, allowing Robinson to see the dilemma as he battles his opponent in the ring. Robinson is taken aback, but quickly recovers, knocks out his opponent, and departs for the bridge. Upon arrival, Robinson sets off a firefight which kills many of the terrorists. A few terrorists are killed by Carlos, providing back-up by parachute. After Carlos lands, Robinson infers that Carlos is also corrupt. When Carlos provokes Kelly, he knocks him out, scattering the terrorists for them to take cover. Other terrorists and Gundars are killed by Rachel. Robinson happens to take out the remaining terrorists. After the bomb on the plane is blown up (but it did not blow up the plane), Robinson appears to tell Rachel to put Carlos' gun down. She tells him that she is with BNS. Wright makes up a lie that the BNS (herself included) suspected that Carlos was corrupt and says that Mac and she pretended to team up with him so that they can finally nail him and uses this to convince the others that she is innocent. The confusion leads to a fight between Scott and Carlos, allowing Wright to escape with Gundars' briefcase, which containing sensitive information and is worth billions. With Robinson in tow, Scott attempts to fly the Switchblade away, but it crashes into the river below seconds after take-off. While in the water, Robinson discovers the nuclear weapon. Scott realizes the mission is a success after all, and Robinson remarks that he will be recognized as a hero. 36 hours later, in Monte Carlo, Scott and Robinson track down Agent Wright and place her under arrest, as she remarks that she is glad the two received deserving press coverage. Scott turns up a copy of USA Today and sees a picture of Carlos in a parade with President Bush, receiving credit for the operation. Robinson takes this news hard and refuses to accompany Scott to BNS headquarters for a mission debrief.

One evening, a man claiming to be Carol's (Shelley Long) long-lost first husband, Roy Martin (Tim Matheson), shows up at the suburban Brady residence. The Bradys believe his story about suffering from amnesia and having plastic surgery after being injured. Mike (Gary Cole) has been planning a second wedding/renewal of vows for himself and Carol, for an anniversary present without her knowing, although Roy's arrival throws a monkey wrench into things. Throughout Roy's stay, he is openly hostile to them, his sarcasm and insults completely going over their heads. Mike had 3 boys before marrying Carol and Carol had 3 girls before marrying Mike. Thats the Brady family. Alice is the house maid. Marcia is the eldest and is the sexiest, with many boys after her. Jan is geeky and has no boyfriends. Roy is heard talking to someone on the phone and it seems like he is looking for a horse shaped artifact. This artifact was sent by Alice for cleaning after the girls dropped grape juice on it. Peter (Paul Sutera), who is trying to decide what career path to choose, starts idolizing and emulating Roy, which frequently gets him in trouble at the architect firm where Mike works (Mike Takes Peter to work for his internship, but Peter hits Mike's boss as he is more interested in playing with Roy's nun chucks). Peter later mentions Roy talking about "the big house", and Mike learns it means prison, making him suspicious. Roy advises Jan to cook up an imaginary boyfriend to impress Marcia. But Marcia doesn't believe her. Roy learns from Cindy and Bobby that the horse artifact is at the antique store for cleaning and restorations. Roy is thwarted when Kids take him for a day out, just when Alice brings the artifact back from the cleaners. But then Carol sends the horse to her local charity auction. Roy plans to bid on it as it is valued at $50. Meanwhile Alice is upset that Roy didn't like her meatloaf. So, she finds some mushrooms in Roy's room and mixes them in his dinner that night. Those were magic mushrooms and Roy trips up. He barely gets to the auction the next day but is beaten by a wealthy lady (who had seen a similar artifact at an auction somewhere) who bids $10K on it. Greg (Christopher Daniel Barnes) and Marcia (Christine Taylor) both want to move out of their shared rooms and into the attic. But when neither wants to back down, they have to share the attic together. When Roy's arrival suggests that Carol and Mike might not be married, Greg and Marcia believe that they are technically not related. This leads them to realize they are in love with each other but try to hide it from one another throughout their time together. Bobby (Jesse Lee) and Cindy (Olivia Hack) start a "Detective Agency" hunting down her missing doll and upon finding it, they stumble upon a photo revealing Roy's true intention. He is actually a con man named Trevor Thomas (who used to be the real Roy's assistant) and is there to steal a familiar horse statue that is actually a $20 million-dollar ancient artifact. The kids reveal to Carol his plans and confront Trevor (who had stolen the horse artifact from the wealthy woman at the auction), who, in turn, kidnaps Carol and takes her hostage to Hawaii, where he plans to sell to artifact to Dr. Whitehead (John Hillerman), a buyer in Hawaii. He also ties up the kids and Alice (Henriette Mantel) to keep them from interfering. Mike, who's now fully aware of Trevor's deception, having gone to the police with his suspicions, frees them, and the family flies to Hawaii to save Carol and foil Trevor's plans. In Hawaii, Carol escapes from Trevor's clutches, and manages to find her way to Dr. Whitehead's estate before Trevor gets there. It turns out, Trevor was responsible for the boating accident (he cut the fuel pipes which led to the explosion on the boat) that led to the disappearance of Dr. Whitehead's son Gilligan and Carol's first husband, a professor. Carol's first husband had discovered the artifact in Karabi (Thailand) and sent it ahead by courier to her, as he felt it would be safer with her, while they followed on boat. in Dr. Whitehead's words "The Minnow is lost" (as Trevor was responsible for his son's death), and he refuses to pay Trevor for the horse (when Carol insists that Trevor stole it from the family). Trevor attempts to hold Dr. Whitehead and Carol at gunpoint for payment, but Mike and the family arrive just in time to intervene (Mike found the place from which Trevor rented a jeep to visit Dr Whitehead), and, after a brief scuffle between the two men, in which Mike quickly gains the upper hand, Trevor is arrested and taken to jail. Dr. Whitehead offers to pay the Bradys the $20 million dollars for the horse, but Mike declines, claiming it's a symbol of their togetherness. Cindy gives him her doll, to console him, as she's outgrown it, after almost losing her mother. Jan (Jennifer Elise Cox), who made up a pretend boyfriend named George Glass in order to make herself seem more popular, meets a real boy named George Glass during the family's trip to Hawaii, and they become a couple. As Mike and Carol renew their vows in a ceremony held at their home, Marcia agrees to let Greg have the attic to himself, until he goes to college, and the two share one last on-screen kiss, before returning to being brother and sister. The movie ends with Carol tossing the bouquet, and a genie named Jeannie, arriving just in time to catch it. She then claims to be Mike Brady's first wife, much to Mike and Carol's dismay.

The original 1970s TV family is now placed in the 1990s, where they're even more square and out of place than ever. Mike Brady and his wife Carol have just only one week to come up with $20,000 in back taxes or their house is sold and they'll have no choice but to move. And it's up to their kids to secretly raise money and save the house before they lose it to their scheming next-door neighbor, Larry Dittmeyer. —Anthony Pereyra <hypersonic91@yahoo.com> This movie picks up the Brady clan and plops them down in the 1990s with their original naivete intact. Their next-door neighbor, Larry Dittmeyer, is in charge of acquiring land for a new residential mini-mall, and they are the last holdouts on selling their land.
