Will Smurfette, who has always felt different from the other Smurfs, find a new connection with the Naughties Vexy and Hackus or will the Smurfs convince her that their love for her is True Blue?

When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world into ours, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

Balls of Fury is a humorous movie with Randy Daytona who loses the 1988 Olympic Gold medal for ping-pong, and his father on the same day. Daytona gets another chance when he is approached by FBI agent, Ernie Rodriguez (played by George Lopez), to go undercover at an underground ping-pong tournament run by the evil criminal emperor, Feng (Walken). He goes under a grueling training regiment under Master Wong, played well by veteran actor, James Hong, and his daughter, Maggie (Maggie Q). The characterization is fantastic and the martial art spoofs are really hilarious.

A developer attempts to sabotage the safety record of a ski resort. The Snowy Peaks ski patrol is one diverse crew. Jerry, the senior member loves skiing and is in love with Ellen, a ski school instructor at Snowy Peaks; Iceman is a singer and a master of impressions; Eddie is the demolition and explosives expert; Stanley has failed to make the patrol seven years in a row; and foreign-exchange patroler Tiana likes Stanley. While having fun and keeping the mountain safe, they try to save the lodge from greedy land developer Sam Maris. —Pat McCurry
