In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the Guardians travel throughout the cosmos as they help Peter Quill learn more about his true parentage.

In the far reaches of space, an American pilot named Peter Quill finds himself the object of a manhunt after stealing an orb coveted by the villainous Ronan. In order to evade Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a group of misfits including Gamora, Rocket, Drax the Destroyer and Groot. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand with the galaxy`s fate in the balance.

In 1999, a British couple and their infant son were shipwrecked in Equatorial Africa. The parents build a tree house (using wood from their wrecked ship that drifted to the shore) and have a seemingly pleasant life. But one day, they are attacked and killed by Sabor, a vicious leopard that escaped from the circus. Their son is found by Kala (Glenn Close), who hears the cries of the infant while traveling across the jungle. Kala's own son was also killed by Sabor, and she saves the infant from being devoured by Sabor. Sabor gets entangled in the ropes surrounding the tree-house and Kala escapes with the infant. Kala brings the human child to her tribe and adopts him despite the objections of her mate, Kerchak (Lance Henriksen). Kala is a loving and protective mother to the infant that she named Tarzan. Years later Tarzan (Tony Goldwyn) befriends other animals including Kala's niece Terk (Rosie O'Donnell) and the paranoid elephant Tantor (Wayne Knight). Tarzan finds himself treated differently because of his different physique. Tarzan goes out of his way to prove he is worthy of the tribe by taking on dangerous missions like pulling a hair from an Elephant's tail, which Terk had meant as a way to discourage Tarzan. As a result, Tarzan causes a stampede which nearly takes out the tribe, earning the wrath of Kerchak. Kerchak says that Tarzan can never be a gorilla, and Kala says that Kerchak never gives him a chance. As he grows up, Tarzan makes valiant efforts to improve himself, including making stone tools to mimic claws and horns he has seen on other animals. As an adult, Tarzan is an intelligent and skilled jungle warrior. One day, the tribe is attacked by Sabor and Kerchak is injured while fighting it. Tarzan steps in and saves Kerchak. Tarzan kills Sabor with a spear, gaining Kerchak's reluctant approval. Meanwhile, a team of human explorers from England, consisting of Professor Archimedes Q Porter (Nigel Hawthorne). Porter, his daughter Jane (Minnie Driver), and their hunter escort Clayton (Brian Blessed), are looking to study the gorillas. As 2 guns shot ring through the jungle, Tarzan follows the sound out of curiosity. Jane is worried that Clayton's gun shots might be scaring away the Gorillas, but Clayton is only concerned with security. Jane accidentally becomes separated from the group and is chased by a baboon troop, until Tarzan rescues her. After comparing her to himself, he realizes they are similar. Tarzan is astounded as in the jungle he has never seen anyone similar to him. Jane leads Tarzan back to their camp, where Terk and Tantor were busy demolishing the human artifacts. Jane realizes that Tarzan is one of them. Tarzan and his friends have to retreat when Kerchak arrives and is livid to see Tarzan with a human. Kerchak forbids anyone from contacting the humans, but Tarzan says that the humans mean no harm and berates Kerchak for being afraid of anyone who is different from him. Tarzan, however, cannot get Jane out of his mind, and returns to the camp. Porter and Clayton both take interest in Tarzan; the former in terms of scientific progress, while the latter hopes to have Tarzan lead the group to the gorillas. Despite Kerchak's warnings to avoid the humans, Tarzan repeatedly returns to the camp. Porter, Clayton, and Jane teach him how to speak English properly, and tell him what the human world is like. Tarzan and Jane begin to fall in love; however, she has difficulty convincing Tarzan to lead the humans to the gorillas, as Tarzan fears Kerchak's fury. The explorers' ship soon returns to retrieve them. Jane asks Tarzan to return with them to England, but Tarzan, in turn, asks Jane to stay with him when Jane says it is unlikely that they will ever return. Clayton convinces Tarzan that Jane will stay with him forever as long as he leads them to the gorillas. Tarzan agrees and leads the trio to the nesting grounds while Terk and Tantor lure Kerchak away by dressing up as humans. Porter and Jane are excited to mingle with the gorillas (and Jane demonstrates that she has learned to speak Gorilla language), but Kerchak returns and attacks the humans on sight (he saw Clayton with a gun). Tarzan restrains Kerchak while the humans escape. Afterward, Kerchak accuses Tarzan of betraying his family, causing Tarzan to flee in shame. Kala takes Tarzan to the tree-house where she found him, reveals his true past, and says that she wants him to be happy whatever he decides. Tarzan puts on his late father's suit, signifying his decision to go to England. When Tarzan boards the ship with Jane and Porter the next day, they are ambushed by Clayton and his traitorous band of stowaway thugs. Now aware of the location of the nesting grounds, Clayton reveals his plans to capture and sell the gorillas for a fortune, and imprisons Tarzan, Jane, and Porter to prevent them from interfering. Tarzan manages to escape with the help of Terk and Tantor, and he returns to the jungle, rallying the animals to come to the aid of the gorillas and scare off the thugs. Clayton then mortally wounds Kerchak and battles Tarzan across the treetops. Although Tarzan spares Clayton's life and breaks his rifle, Clayton tries to kill him with his machete. Their battle comes to a cluster of vines, and Clayton tries to cut free when a vine becomes tangled around his neck, hanging him to death. Kerchak, with his dying breath, finally accepts Tarzan as his son, and names him the leader of the gorilla troop. The next day, Porter and Jane prepare to leave on the ship, while Tarzan stays behind with the gorillas. As the ship's rowboat leaves shore, Porter encourages his daughter to stay with the man she loves, and Jane jumps overboard, followed soon after by her father. The Porters reunite with Tarzan and his family and embark on their new life together in the jungle.

The film begins with a joint special operations mission composed of Russian Spetsnaz and American Delta Force operatives to capture General Ivan Radek, the dictator of a "terrorist regime" in the former Soviet republic of Kazakhstan. Three weeks later, James Marshall (Harrison Ford), the President of the United States, gives a speech at a state dinner in Moscow, telling the world that the United States will no longer negotiate with terrorists or fail to intervene in dictatorial regimes (a subplot that seems to reference the Bosnian and Kosovo Wars). Afterwards, Marshall, much of his Cabinet and his advisers board Air Force One to return to the U.S. Just before takeoff, they are joined by Marshall's family, First Lady Grace and First Daughter Alice. Meanwhile, six Radek loyalists and Soviet ultra-nationalists, led by Egor Korshunov and posing as a Russian news crew, have boarded the plane and shortly after take-off are able to hijack the plane and kill several people with help from Gibbs, a mole in the Secret Service. Agents hustle a reluctant Marshall to the escape pod before Korshunov's men can capture him. In the cockpit, the pilots attempt to make an emergency landing at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. However, the hijackers breach the cockpit, shoot the pilots, and set course for Kazakhstan. In the meantime the security service manage to get the President to the emergency escape pod & the pod is shown to successfully disengage from the aircraft, & parachute over German Territory Korshunov gathers the remaining passengers into the conference room and contacts the White House Situation Room, where he speaks to Vice President Kathryn Bennett. He demands that they arrange for Radek's release in exchange for the President's family. Until their demands to release Radek are met, the terrorists threaten to execute hostages every half hour. National Security Advisor Jack Doherty is the first to be executed, and Grace and Alice are taken up to the cockpit as separate hostages. Marshall's escape pod is discovered to be empty; he is actually still on board. It was also revealed that Marshall was a Vietnam Veteran, and a Medal of Honor recipient. After Marshall kills two of Korshunov's men, Korshunov responds by murdering Press Secretary Melanie Mitchell in front of Marshall's terrified family and over the intercom. Hiding from Korshunov in the avionics bay, Marshall is able to initiate a dump of Air Force One's fuel reserve. This forces Korshunov to demand a mid-air refueling, which requires the plane to come down to 12000 feet at which hostages can parachute out of the cargo bay of the aircraft Marshall sneaks back into the conference room where the passengers are being held and escorts them to the parachute bay. Most of the hostages escape via parachute, until they are discovered by one of Korshunov's men. The resulting chaos caused depressurization of the parachute bay, and several people are sucked out of the plane without parachutes, meeting their deaths. It also disrupts the refueling process, setting the refueling plane's fuel reserve on fire and causing it to explode in midair. Korshunov takes Marshall hostage, as well as Major Caldwell, Gibbs and Chief of Staff Lloyd Shepherd and threatens to kill Alice unless he agrees to call Russian President Petrov and demand Radek's release. As Radek prepares to leave prison, Marshall breaks free and kills the last two of Korshunov's men. Korshunov drags Grace down to the cargo bay, where he throws all the remaining parachutes overboard, except for the one he is wearing. In the ensuing fight, Marshall wraps a cord around Korshunov's neck, says "Get off my plane!", and opens the parachute, which breaks Korshunov's neck, and his dead body floats away off the plane. With all of the hijackers dead and regaining control of the plane, Marshall halts the release of Radek, who is fatally shot as he tries to escape. Marshall takes control of the plane's controls, turning it toward the nearest airbase. Back at the White House, Bennett discovers six Kazakh MiG-29s fighter planes piloted by Radek loyalists in pursuit and warns Marshall. A squadron of F-15s arrive and fight off the MiGs, with one pilot sacrificing himself to stop a missile from hitting the plane, but in the ensuing explosion, Air Force One is left so badly damaged, it is unable to land safely and is leaking fuel. An Air Force Pararescue MC-130 Hercules plane is hastily tasked to zip-line Marshall and the remaining passengers from the plane before it hits the water. Marshall insists that his family be rescued first, as well as a wounded Shepherd. The last engine fails and when the final rescuer states he can only evacuate one more, Gibbs pulls a gun and kills both the rescuer and Caldwell, revealing his true identity. Marshall is able to subdue Gibbs before the steel cable detaches from the plane with the President secured. Air Force One finally crashes head-on into the Caspian Sea, breaking in half and kills Gibbs. The country celebrates as the President is winched to safety, and Marshall embraces his family and salutes the crew of the Hercules, who change their call sign to Air Force One.

Roger Dearly (Jeff Daniels) is an American video game designer who shares his home in London with his pet dalmatian, Pongo. One day Roger takes Pongo for a walk, and the dog sets his eyes on a beautiful female Dalmatian named Perdy. After a frantic chase through the streets of London, Roger and Pongo discover that Perdy likes Pongo; and Perdy's owner, fashion designer Anita Campbell-Green (Joely Richardson), is taken with Roger when they meet in St. James Park. Romance blossoms between both human and canine couples and Roger and Anita walk down the aisle. Anita works as a fashion designer at the House of de Vil. Her boss, Cruella de Vil (Glenn Close), has two passions in life: cigarettes and fur. Anita, inspired by her dog designs a coat made with spotted fur. Cruella, leaps on the idea of making garments out of actual Dalmatians. When Cruella learns that Perdy has given birth to 15 Dalmatian puppies, she offers the couple a decent price for the newborn puppies, but the couple refuses. Flying into a maniacal rage, Cruella relieves Anita of duty and vows to get even. She has her henchmen, Jasper and Horace (Hugh Laurie and Mark Williams respectively), steal the puppies and deliver them to her ancient estate, De Vil Mansion. With the help of the other dogs and animals scattered throughout London, the puppies manage to outwit Jasper and Horace, and escape to a farm, where their parents have been called to wait. But shortly after, Cruella shows up and tries to retrieve them; she ends up having a pig sit on her, after which she falls into a vat of molasses (caused by raccoons) and is kicked into a pig pen by a horse. All of the Dalmatians get home by the Metropolitan Police Service, who then arrest Cruella and her henchmen. The family adopts the other Dalmatians Cruella stole, bringing the total to 101. Roger designs a successful video game featuring dalmatian puppies as the protagonists and Cruella as the villain, and they move to the English countryside with their millions.
