Rajiv, a struggling water purifier salesman, after a long chase, is able to bag a client Gagan Kapoor and fix him for an appointment on a Friday. However, he finds himself caught up in a tricky situation when he arrives at Kapoor's house and catches Kapoor cheating on his wife Bela with another woman Bindu.

Govinda plays the role of a 40 year old virgin who lives in London with his parents (Anupam Kher and Smita Jaykar) and cousin (Harish). Father is worried for his son, who is still a virgin and seeks help from his employee (Shakti Kapoor). However, all the efforts to make Govinda lose his virginity turns futile. The family leaves for Manali, when Govinda gets married to a girl (Yuvika Choudhary) who is much younger to him. However, Yuvika is full of childish pranks, which result in Govinda getting involved in a physical relationship with a foreigner. Yuvika gets a shock when she discovers the truth. This incident brings a change in her attitude towards her husband, Govinda.

The third pair is that of Stephanie-Raju pair, she searching for her faithless Indian boyfriend and he the Indian taxi-driver who ferries her around the country. And then there is the Shiven-Gia yuppie marriage fiasco, with the groom with the cold-feet. The fifth story is of the stable married couple - Vinay-Seema, whose 15 year marriage is threatened when the husband wants more than just boring, suburban life. The sixth couple's story is of Isha-Sohail as a rural couple unable to give vent to their passion. Sona happens to be the daughter of Raja's mentor K.K., and this arouses anger with K.K. when he finds out that Raja has chosen Sona to seduce. Sonu gets to the wrong party in Goa and antagonizes the Verma family, consisting of Gulzarilal (Anupam Kher), his unmarried sister, Santho (Aruna Irani), and eligible daughters, Pooja (Pooja Batra) and Ritu (Karisma Kapoor). Sonu challenges the family that he is going to marry Pooja by any means possible, and calls upon Monu to act as his Paternal uncle, which he does so, and ends up falling for Ritu. Unknown to him, Santho has also developed a crush on him. Devkaran is working to convert the Kingdom's vasts lands into a designated sanctuary for wild animals. Ranbir Singh (Salim Ghouse) & his wife (Kunika) want to exploit the natural forests for the wood and the antlers of deer, and growing opium. Ranbir is the manager of the Kingdom's vast estates and plans to take possession of the whole Kingdom, by marrying Devkaran's sister and pressing his claim to the Kingdom. Suryamani (Prem Chopra) is the cousin brother of Kohinoor's mom. Amina Bi (Aruna Irani) is Kohinoor's nanny. Ali (Raj Babbar) & Aslam are Amina's own sons. A fortune teller, who is also Ranbir's mother (Shashikala) tells Ranbir that Kohinoor will be his death. Fearing his death, Ranbir Singh (Salim Ghouse) decides to kill Kohinoor when he is a child. Ranbir attacks the palace in collusion with Suryamani. Ranbir kills his wife, Devkaran, his wife and his 2 daughters. Amina escapes with Kohinoor and Ali, sacrificing her other son Aslam (by making him pose like Kohinoor, whom Ranbir kills) Amina hands over Kohinoor to Hanuman Baba, and promises to send Ali 20 yrs later to take Kohinoor back to the Kingdom. But Amina is captured and tortured for 20 yrs by Ranbir. Ali grows up to be a resistance fighter against Ranbir's plan to grow opium in the cleared forest lands. Meanwhile Kohinoor grows up in the jungle and uses his powers to protect animals against poachers and hunters. Hanuman Baba protects Kohinoor's magical powers from being exposed to the outside world. Shaili Mathur (Manisha Koirala) is a reporter and runs a segment on people with unique abilities in India. Bhalu Prasad Bihari Orey (Shakti Kapoor) is her future fiance and the son of the owner of the channel. Shaili is ordered to track down the story on Kohinoor and verify its facts and bring it in front of the people. At the railway station, Shaili runs into Ali, who says that he is also headed to the Madhuban jungle to meet Kohinoor. Shaili gets Ali arrested for entering the wrong class of carriage (first class when he had a general ticket) Shaili heads to a village fair where all young men from the neighboring areas arrive in the hope to meet their life partner. She hopes that Kohinoor might also be there. Kohinoor indeed comes and falls in love with Shaili. He wants to marry Shaili, but she is offended that an uneducated villager wants to marry her. a policeman tries to fraud Shaili of Rs 5000 by passing off a random guy as Kohinoor and Shaili thinks the story has no merit. But there is no train till the next day. They decide to spend the time in a jungle safari. They are attacked by a herd of elephants, who end up overturning their jeep. Kohinoor arrives in time and saves them. Shalini decides to play a damsel in distress to seduce Kohinoor. Shalini says she loves him, since he saved her life. Kohinoor reciprocates the love when Shalini confirms that Orey is not her fiance.. Kohinoor introduces Shaili to Hanuman Baba, who advises Kohinoor against marrying this girl from the city. The news of Kohinoor's find reaches the papers and Ali rushes to Madhuban to stop him before he leaves with Shaili. But before he can get there, Kohinoor leaves with Shaili for the city. Ali meets Hanuman Baba, who sends Ali after Kohinoor to the city. Ali and Hanuman Baba intercept the train before it reaches the city and tell the truth to Kohinoor. Hanuman Baba tells Kohinoor about his past and how Ranbir slaughtered his entire family. Kohinoor leaves. Hanuman, Ali and Kohinoor reach the Kingdom. Ranbir dangles Amina's freedom if Kohinoor agrees to meet him alone. Kohinoor agrees since Amina sacrificed her own son to save Kohinoor once. Meanwhile Shaili reaches Devpur with Orey. Kohinoor and Ranbir meet and trade insults. Ranbir has chained Amina in a circular cage structure, and unleashes lions on her. The lions are blind and hence cannot be hypnotized by Kohinoor. Turns out the lions are the ones that Kohinoor played with when he was a kid. The lions refuse to attack him or Amina. Ranbir reneges on his promise and attacks Kohinoor with his army. But Ali arrives in time to thwart the attack and rescue Amina and Kohinoor. Ranbir and Suryamani take refuge in a local police station as Ali's forces surround the village. Kohinoor and Ali rescue all the animals in Ranbir's farm and set fire to his opium fields.. Shaili pursues Kohinoor, but he continues to ignore her due to her betrayal. Shaili tries to commit suicide, Kohinoor saves her but is still unconvinced about her proposed love for him. Eventually though Kohinoor relents and reciprocates her love. Meanwhile the village kids have withdrawal symptoms due to lack of opium as Ranbir had them addicted on the stuff. The doctors give up as they have no anesthetics. The only solution is to put all the kids to sleep.. If Kohinoor uses his powers to hypnotize kids, he will loose them, but he does so anyways, as he wants to save the kids of the village. Kohinoor loses his powers (unknown to him, this was all planned by a mole planted by Ranbir) and promptly Ranbir's forces attack. Hanuman is shot and Kohinoor withdraws to save him. Meanwhile Ranbir captures the entire village including Ali and Shaili. Ranbir's mother tells him that marrying Shaili would make him immune to Kohinoor. Shaili uses this to her advantage and drive a rift between Ranbir and his wife existing wife Lady Helen (Kunika). Kohinoor assembles his forces around Ranbir's palace. By the grace of God, Kohinoor retains the love of all animals, who come to his aid during the attack. In the end the animals and Kohinoor defeat Ranbir, rescues Amina, Ali and Shaili.. Kohinoor kills Ranbir by throwing him off the roof.

Later, Raja and Ghafoor bump off the inspector and run away with the loot to Bombay. At Bombay airport, Raja sets eyes on Dr Neha and promptly falls in love with the psychiatrist, for that's what she is. Raja and Ghafoor quickly find out where she lives. Ghafoor pretends to be a psychiatric patient while Raja takes on the name Raj Kumar and befriends her, telling her he has just returned from the US. However, Ghafoor cautions Raja not to hurry and be patient in matters of love. The trouble begins when Bunnu, the son of a wealthy businessman, is sent to Neha for treatment. He is really crazy, and terrified of fire, heights, running and water. Soon, he too falls for Neha and discovers he has a rival in Raja. Suddenly, Neha has to leave for Ooty with her father to attend her uncle's wedding. She does not leave behind a forwarding address. However, both Raja and Bunnu impersonate policemen and intimidate her secretary into revealing where she's vamoosed. Dr Neha is thrilled to see them in Ooty, but is drawn closer to the ill Bunnu rather than Raja. Things take an ugly turn when Ghafoor tires to kill Bunnu, who escapes. Bunnu contacts contract killer Pappu Pager to bump off Raja. However, that plan too comes a cropper. Armed with a gold ring and garland, Neha calls Bunnu and Raja to court, ostensibly with the purpose of marriage. A kind-hearted police Inspector (Kader Khan) takes Shankar to an orphanage, but unable to withstand the oppression and hunger in the orphanage, Shankar runs away, leaving the Police Inspector to give this bad news to Kamini. When released from prison, Kamini is contacted by J.K. (Raj Babbar), who tells Kamini that he is a victim of the Rai family, and Bob (Ranjeet). J.K. wants her to co-operate with him to extract vengeance. Jyoti arrives just in time to witness the murder of her fiancé only to place both before the court whereby her witnesses turns hostile resulting in the court acquitting both. Jyoti then brings to light Prajapati's true colors to the public and in retaliation Prajapati's men abducted Jyoti and gang-raped her younger sister, Nisha before her eyes. The two elope from jail and kill Khanna where Jyoti witness's the murder,but court acquits Vikram and Shakaal due to lack of evidence and considers Jyoti no tot be stable.Jyoti does not stop here in a public meeting she exposes wrong doing of Prajapati and he gets beaten by public.Prajapati then swears to revenge where he kidnaps Nisha whose raped by Shakaal and Vikram and others and goes in depression.Jyoti who has just lost her lover and is seeing her sister in depression decides to revenge on Prajapati and his men and stars eliminating them. Jyoti is enraged by this, and decides to teach Vikram and Shakaal a lesson. She finds out that Vikram is Minister Prajapati's son, and Shakaal is also linked with this politician. She decides to go public against Prajapati, and as a result she and her sister, Nisha, are abducted and Nisha is gang-raped by Shakaal and his men. After her rape, Nisha is devastated and cannot live a normal life. After the passing of her parents, a young heiress suffers abuse at the hands of her relatives. Deepa lives a poor lifestyle along with her widowed father, and is in love with Dharma. Her father becomes ill, and must re-locate abroad for treatment. A rich male, Singh, offers to marry Deepa and only then will he get her dad the required treatment. Deepa agrees, and a heartbroken Dharma decides to remain single, takes to alcohol and becomes a goon. Deepa gives birth to a daughter, Barkha, but her husband passes away leaving her very wealthy. Her ex-convict brother-in-law, Bhanupratap, demands cash, and she gives him some, but he wants more, and upon being refused - kills her, moves in along with his wife, Shanti; son, Roshan; and daughter, Chandni; on the pretext of looking after Barkha. He hopes to take over the entire estate, but finds his plans foiled when he finds out that Deepa had left a Will which made it mandatory for the entire estate to be transferred to Barkha after she reaches the age of 21. He and his wife abuse Barkha, force her to give up her studies, and make her do all the household work while they continue to collect a princely allowance every month. Years later Barkha has grown up, and after being whipped by her uncle, manages to escape, meets and falls in love with a street-wise male, Suraj. Ironically, Bhanupratap hires Dharma, who locates and takes her back - leaving her no choice but to sign-over the entire estate to her uncle.

Two childhood friends from different social classes grow close after a mother's intervention.
