Set in Amritsar, Manmarziyaan follows the story of Rumi, a spirited young woman who finds herself caught up in a complicated love triangle involving her impulsive yet irresponsible boyfriend and her self-possessed fiance.

The story revolves around Nikka and Roop who get married to each other, but Nikka falls in love with a teacher, and tries to convince her Dadi for his second marriage with her. Not only this, he also insists his wife to persuade his family to agree for his second marriage, and even uses several excuses to get married again. Will he be successful in getting married once again?
