`Lakshmi` is an upcoming Kannada action film, directed by Raghava Loki, starring Shivarajkumar, Priyamani, Saloni Aswani and Komal Kumar. The film marks Shivarajkumar`s 101st venture, and is produced by Bhaskar from Bharani Minerals. Gurukiran has scored the music for `Lakshmi` and and K. S. Chandrashekar has shot the film. Actor, Shivarajakumar plays an arrogant CBI officer in the film. `Lakshmi` also contains a love story with a twist.

Sagar (Prajwal Devaraj) is an NRI from Australia and to avoid disappointing his family, he decides to marry Priyanka (Haripriya) the girl they chose. Despite being friends for 20 years, Sagar and Priyanka realize they don`t have feelings for each other. Sagar turns to his friend Jenny for advice and she suggests that he should pretend to have a girlfriend who will be none other than Sanjjanaa, (Radhika Pandit) her friend. Kajol ends up coming to Bangalore and this only complicates matters for Sagar who`s torn between the two. In the midst of all this Sonu (Dev Gill) comes to Bangalore to look for Kajol. IPS officer Arun Kumar arrives to a mental asylum to investigate the disappearance of Stephen Raj (Adhi Lokesh) and to crack a murder mystery. The cop believes that the hospital authorities headed by Sayaji Shinde is letting Stephen to hide in the hospital and they are not revealing the full truth. Arun is desperate to catch him because he suspects Adhi has kidnapped his beloved wife Catherine (Sada). The medical institution allows him to stay in the hospital in order to support his investigation and sends Maya (Ragini Dwivedi) to help him in his mission. As he collects the clues and unravel a network of lies, the audience will witness sharp twists and turns, which will end with a stunning climax.

An ancient painting of Nagavalli (Vimala Raman) creates chaos in the household of a bharathanatyam dancer, Saraswathi (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy). Acharya Ramchandra Shastry (Avinash) and Dr Vijay (Vishnuvardhan), a psychiatrist, get together to solve the mystery behind the events that have been occurring due to the presence of the painting. How they solve the mystery forms the rest of the story.

The film is a story of a love triangle. It revolves around Anil (Prajwal Devraj), Priyanca (Bianca Desai) and Divya (Sonu). Anil is in love with Priyanka whereas Divya loves Anil.

Raghav Loki`s directional venture, Satya in Love, starring Shivrajkumar in the lead completed its shooting recently at Mantralaya. Telugu and Tamil actress Genelia plays the female lead. Guru Kiran helms the music and M.R. Seenu handles the camera.

Shivu is a petty thief who falls in love with an ACP's daughter Preethi. To achieve hi sown motive, ACP puts forward the condition that Shivu will have to work as an informer for the police for a mission. Shivu helps the police in tracking a terrorist, and fulfills the condition. However, the ACP decieves Shivu later, which results in Shivu taking the law in his own hands and clearing the decks to marry Preethi.
