Hare Rama Hare Krishna portrays an unemployed man, Anand (Sri Murali), who bribes an official for a job. When he doesn`t get the job, an angry Anand approaches a higher authority demanding that the money he paid be returned. However, he is framed by the officials and they send him to prison. Surya's Captain is also the father of Chandra, Admiral Ashok Rao. Chandra tries to be friendly with Surya in order to get closer to Kiran.

Kamli (Sangita) loses her bag in the railway station. Later, her bag is sent to her home, along with a letter from Surya (V. Ravichandran), who found it. Kamli and Surya send letters to each other and soon fall in love. Yaare Neenu Cheluve is the remake of a Tamil blockbuster Kadhal Kottai.
