Ravi happens to cross paths with Bittu, a gangster and helps the police foil his plan to rob a bank. Eventually, Bittu resolves to destroy Ravi and his family.

Nanban is comedy drama film directed by S. Shankar featuring an ensemble cast that includes Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and Ileana D`Cruz. The soundtrack and background score is by Harris Jayaraj, working with Shankar for the second time after Anniyan (2005). It is a remake of the 2009 Bollywood blockbuster film 3 Idiots, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, which was adapted from the novel Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat.

Sharpshooter Abhi`s (Rana) father gets killed by a goon (Abhimanyu Singh). His mother, who is injured badly during the attack, is in coma. Meanwhile, Abhi``s mother dies in coma and Abhi disgusted with his life decides to commit suicide. He contacts the website and asks the person to come and videograph it. After Abhi reveals his flashback and stabs himself, he realises that the person who was shooting the video is none other than Meenakshi. Realizing that he could live for her, he pleads her to admit him to a hospital, but she refuses and leaves him to his fate. After that the police officer lays a trap and tries to arrest Meenakshi. Will Abhi save her?
