9 years ago Wali Khan (Irrfan Khan) was sent into Karachi, Pakistan by the Chief of R&AW Ashwini Rao (Nassar) to report the activities of the Most Wanted Man in India. 9 days ago Rudra Pratap Singh (Arjun Rampal) Indian Armed Forces, MARCOS unit, Zoya Rehman (Huma Qureshi) R&AW Explosives expert and Aslam (Akash Dhaiya) a petty thief from the streets of Mumbai, recruited by R&AW infiltrated Pakistan to join Wali Khan and carry out the mission to bring back The Most Wanted Man in India. The man who was going to break all ISI protocol and security and attend his own son`s wedding. The man who could on that day be abducted and brought back to India to face justice... Everything was going according to plan till that fateful day. The team sent to bring in The Most Wanted Man in India did the unthinkable. They carried out the most daring operation and almost got away with it. Almost because, something went horribly wrong.

Balaji and Milan Luthria`s Once Upon A Time In Mumbai is seen through the eyes of a police officer. It traces the changing face of Mumbai`s underworld and how it all started. The film, set primarily in 1970`s Mumbai, follows the rise of Sultan (Ajay Devgn), and the conflict when his protege Shoaib (Emaraan Hashmi), challenges supremacy and unsurps power to rule the murky underbelly of Mumbai.

When a novelist seeks inspiration by urging his wife to have an affair, the line between his story and reality is blurred. A story of Shaukat, a gifted writer who's reeling from the failure of his last novel. Antara, his reserved and sensitive wife supports him indisputably. To regain his command on writing, Shaukat decides to incorporate his story into his real life and subsequently slot the twists and turns of the real life incidents into his story. Author Shaukat Vashisht lives a wealthy life-style in India with his wife, Antara, who is a College Teacher. Shaukat achieves fame when he is nominated for the Booker prize, and goes on to win it. His publishers, hoping that they have unleashed a goldmine, are disappointed with his subsequent works, and soon Shaukat is depressed to such an extent that he almost gives up writing. Then he decides to write a story on a woman named Tamanna, and figures that he will base this story on none other than Antara herself. For this purpose he starts to make note of her every movement, and it is then that he finds out that she has an admirer in fellow-teacher, Yash, a dashing young man - with a bright future ahead of him. Shaukat also finds out that Antara has never mentioned Yash to him, nor has she informed Yash that she is married.
